As a fan of rock and roll, the best one here is Caleb Johnson. His low notes, high notes and notes in between were pitch perfect. Very clean from the start.

Travis is very good as well, it's just up to preference between those two. The others aren't as good.

Caleb Johnson has by far the best perform! It's very close to Aerosmith. He has a genuine rock voice.

I think Caleb hits the high note better. Travis is on key, but his voice becomes very thin up there, where Caleb has power to spare. He also has a very high harmonic that rings off the high note that is so extremely high that Travis doesn’t come close. Maybe because I’m a musician a can hear these multi timber harmonics?

I liked his the best. Didn't quite have the scream like Tyler but the rest of the version made up for that. The others with the accents just did not do it for me, though Travis did have the best Tyler scream.

The thing is no one came close as Travis did. For one moment i thought it was the original singer singing tho. It was that good and that why everyone was shocked to hear him,expecialy the ending of the song where he goes full throttle. The song was full of emotions,singing from his soul that's why he left them breathless. This is what most singers lack today.

Anybody familiar with Dream On knows damn well there's ONE specific part that makes or breaks the entire performance. If you want to see how it's really done skip ahead 9 minutes, because even though the other 4 are "good", Travis Cormier could damn near go note-for-note with Steven Tyler himself on this one.

This is my favorite song from Aero Smith for the many voice ranges. Out of all the 5 of the auditions I think Travis Cormier did an excellent job singing this challenging song. I wanted to do exactly what the judges were doing fall out of their seats with excitement. If I was in their place I would have thought he was Steve Tyler. The rest did an okay job but not as good as Travis, man he can sing and it sent chills down my spine. Awesome job Travis!!

The point is the genius of this song is his composition, how it's been created. plus no one equaled the passion that was built during this song when Tyler sing it. Like Travis was really good, and really lots of passion but it's not comparables it's like Still Loving You's cover, it will never equal the tension built in the song by the original singers. The fact you say it doesn't matter who create the song prove you don't know music. Composing it is way harder than singing it, bc you create from nothing it's kind of miraculous

Composing may be harder than singing the song, I don't doubt that. But alas, they are still two different things completely. One can still take someone else composition and add layers that didn't exist in the original composition. An example would be what Jeff Buckley and Jeff Gutt did with Hallelujah. And Travis did that with this song.
