I wouldnt trust korean surgeons in the long term they use artificial implants in the nose bridge which are known to cause infections and which is why most american/western doctors dont use them

Everyone swears that no celebrity ever did anything to their face and its called aging lol. I'm actually from latin America and I have a coworker that lately has done many things to her face and you wouldn't believe it. Her husband works and it's around celebrities from my country and many people with money so for her it has become natural to do things to her face. I think people dont like to accept that if you have the money, you'll do it in a heartbeat.

Irene's agency, SM, is renowned for making their artists get plastic surgery. Rumor has it that they have a special surgeon on retainer. I believe the surgeon is nicknamed "Dr. Kim" but nobody knows their real identity. Lorry should look into more SM artists, because "Dr. Kim's" work is impeccable. I can only think of a couple of idols who were subjected to too much work.

Seriously I'm a huge fan of SNSD they were like my intimate girl group and still love them so much too much but a lot of members have changed physically over the years like really big changement the colors of the skin, jaw, nose, face sharp ... where has half of Taeyeon's face gone, she had a round large face , we see a pretty drastic transformation to her face shape, it has evidently become much sharper and smaller. Almost all Sm girls have the same nose , same jawline , ... Its kind of shady ...

"Dr. Kim" is just an inside joke among kpop fans, not a specific person lol. SM does have some amazing results in the field, but also some horrible ones, so it's a mixed bag. EXO has had some of the most subtle, beautiful fine-tuning in the industry, but then you look at NCT and a few of the guys have entered uncanny valley territory at this point. Even within the same groups there tends to be a massive difference, i.e. Irene's surgery enhanced her natural beauty to a 100, while Wendy looked SO MUCH BETTER before.

You're a beast for pushing through despite all these delusional fans. Ik from experience how insane some of them are, especially when they feel like their 'reality' is challenged. Idols have to be perfect, as impossible as that sounds. Esepcially visuals, and 'perfect' beauty is extremely rare. So what most companies do is they'd find the perfect 'palate', so someone who already looks cute, or has a good base to start with, and build up on it with minor changes here and there so that you'd chalk it up to 'puberty'. But I'm not sure if these fans skipped out on science class or don't have a basic understanding of genetics, but puberty does not, and I repeat *does not* change the way your nose looks, or magically enhance your double eyelids, let alone give you double eyelids when you start out with a monolid. I’m not sure why reveluvs deny the fact that Irene has had a bit of work done, for me it’s most noticeable that she has eyelid surgery. Lots of other kpop idols have gotten surgery but their fans are in denial. I actually feel sorry for them because many are pressured into getting surgery during their trainee days. She already had a naturally beautiful face to begin with but got tweaks to perfect her entire look.

Lorry, could you please do more videos analyzing surgery in the Kpop industry? Many of us would like to have more insight on what these idols have gotten done because the idols are definitely prohibited from talking about it themselves. It’s nothing complicated.. following the Korean beauty standard, they would’ve gotten a double eyelid surgery, made their nose bridge more prominent and slimmer including their nostrils, injections to get paler skin and some fillers or jaw shaving to get a v line face. That’s pretty much the beauty standard that they all attain for in Korea hence why they look similar, including the makeup.

Jennifer Aniston takes the cake for me. Her nose looks so natural and fits her face so well

I’m not exactly sure who did hers but my friend just got hers done by Dr. Kanodias who is a renowned Beverly Hills celeb doc known for subtle but impactful results. He specializes in closed rhinoplasty though so you would generally need a smaller margin of desired change to be eligible for his type of results. Edit: also my friend paid $16,000!!

Yes. I also noticed that Kylie‘s nose seems to be getting thinner & smaller by year for some reason, it looks so unnaturally small now, almost gives her an “impaired“ look, if that makes any sense at all. I‘m not against plastic surgeries, I think everyone should do as they please, as long as they’re not hurting anyone else by doing so.

I think Bella's second nosejob was a pretty genius move. They did not go for the standard petite hollywood nose, but they crafted a very unique shape (of which the base was already there). It makes sense because she is a supermodel, and unique features draw more attention + exclusivity (how many noses like hers have you ever come across in your whole life). As for Irene, (I am a kpop and Red Velvet stan), I never really quite understood her nosejob, as I always felt her nose sometimes still looks a bit too bulbous/big for some of her facial features (also the general korean plastic surgery nose is more petite and up turned) but what you explained about her natural nose being a tricky job to handle in the first place makes her nose make sense. She has quite a "large" or square jaw/face shape too, so to have all little facial features would probably not look right. Also I love how educational these videos are and even more so I love your attitude and energy, you seem like a very genuine and kind hearted person 😊 I can't wait to get my own nose done after I graduate from college! 😈😻

Ooh that Irene one is spicy. She was already so SO beautiful and, when fans compare her and her band mates in Red Velvet, Irene is definitely the prettiest and even some tout how she epitomizes the strict Korean beauty standards. Buuut my personal favorite in Red Velvet is Joy, she has the best smiles and stunning legs 😄💖

Actually I don't think Irene did any surgery but her eyelids ofc bc if you see her photos before and she now, but without makeup or any lightning, she just looks the same, her jaw is not that "v-line", her beauty is stunning for me

ariana's actually gotten two nose jobs from what ive seen across instagram pages. the second one was more recent as it brought back in her nostrils that seemed constantly flared after her first surgery.

I love how you are not afraid of talking about kpop idols! Very nice video! I would really like to see an analisis on Taylor Swift, I'm a huge fan and through the years I have notice some changes.

So interesting to see the contrast between Bella’s first and second nose job! I definitely prefer her first nose. It still preserves her exotic look. Her second nose job is too much IMO, it wasn’t necessary and gives her face a harsh look. Amazing video Lorry ❤️

If I ever had plastic surgeries I would never deny them coz it only means I can afford to go under the knife. I have the budget! So why deny? show off your wealth!

Since many of you are already talking about Aespa so let me put it here.... I was so shocked to see their pre debut pics. I just love the fact that when they're about to debut, their nose bridge suddenly becomes higher(in case of winter, but I love her pure vibe😍), eyes become extra big(Giselle, although it was already big sideways, they went overboard to give her that anime look ig) or a tad elongated(ningning)(almost unrecognisable) and sharpening the jaw (Karina, I seriously didn't see the need for it, her jaw already looked sharp for me). Also,I'm still mad over sm spoiling Yuta's, Wendy's perfect face. They were already so pretty I didn't understand the need. Esp Wendy, she was super pretty 😭

on one hand I could see why idols feel pressured to get some cosmetic procedure done cuz of how the camera amplifies every feature and they wanna look beautiful on stage but on the other hand I feel bad cuz idols who get it done sometimes look a little bit crazy with the chin implants and filler when they’re off stage. the yuta one really shocked me, I was so dumbfounded he did that after debut. I’m not familiar with aespa but i’ll look them up.

Please do a video on Shakira or JLO!! How do they never age?? They look exactly the same as when they were young

Great video, I love noses that are wider without that pinched tip look. Small nose will not always look good on your face. Lorry, I'm glad you help people realize that. Please do a video on Rene Zellweger's transformation from a couple of years ago, and explain what she did to revert it back to her original look. Madonna surgery analysis would be interesting too 😘

Irene is beautiful and I agree. Even since 2017, she caught my attention to present. It doesn’t matter how many people I’ve seen, she stands out a lot. Can’t wait to see how she ages cuz her aura is amazing.

I always thought Irene had some work done because she looked SO different in the debut music video than what she looks like now but I couldn't pinpoint what it was. What they did with her nose really pulls her face together and gives her a striking appearance. I actually REALLY want to know what your analysis would be of another member of Red Velvet- Wendy. Wendy is also very pretty (both before and after). She clearly had some work done, which many fans have mentioned before. Her face certainly looks SUPER different from her face when she debuted. But I can't quite put my finger on what changes were made.

I am also interested to know the procedures Wendy had. I think she looked best during Happiness and Bw Natural era. She's still pretty now but the difference is kinda obvious, especially her jawline.

first time ive seen someone talking good about cosmetic surgeries! dats rlly sweet!

I love the fact that Lorry is not afraid to talk about idols, even with the super fans (or delulus) who keep lying to themselves. I hope she can do more videos about kpop singers, because a lot of ppl look up to them thinking that God gifted them with such good, or perfect, visuals, when it's actually the work of a really excelent surgeon.

Thank you for making these videos to tell all of us regular folks that if we're wondering why we're not as pretty as such and such celebrity it's because how they look isn't totally natural. I remember watching America's Next Top Model and noticing how nice and perfect Tyra's nose looked and I made myself feel bad for not "being born with" a perfect nose only to read 10+ years later that what I was comparing myself to wasn't even real I wish I knew that sooner
