    I’m doing my Masters in Information Systems at Regis University in Denver. Man it has been kicking my ass but it’s so rewarding. I’ve been passing all my classes and it’s well worth the struggle. On Handshake for my university I constantly get reached out by recruiters from big companies even though I won’t graduate until next spring. Best degree

    Antoine, thanks for the videos. I’m a subscriber/long time viewer. What do you recommend for people that want to make a transition. I already have a undergrad degree in education. Do you recommend a second bs in mis, MBA, or just certs? Thanks for all you do.

    It really depends on the career you would choose. For instance as a data analyst I would recommend certs and self projects. For software engineering I would recommend a degree.

    I thought MIS majors would mostly be dealing with the business side of a company. Is it possible to have a role in a company that only deals with money and less with coding with an MIS degree??

  • @ElevateToTheUnknown

    @ElevateToTheUnknown

    2 ай бұрын

    Absolutely! With an MIS degree, you can definitely find roles that focus more on the financial and business aspects of a company, such as business analyst, financial analyst, or systems manager, where the emphasis is more on strategic decision-making and less on coding. Many MIS graduates pursue careers that bridge the gap between IT and business, allowing for a wide range of opportunities beyond technical coding roles.
