Did my first MST draft the other day. Ordered my Victor blitz deck to taste Heavy Hitters, and now Rosetta is coming out. Feels like MTG to me, release-wise, but I am just getting into FAB. Maybe if I get in during prerelease, I will be able to experience the set fully.

32:54 "I close the chain" is basically "I'm not playing anything in the Link Step, so I pass priority to you", so yes you can activate Kasaya before your opponent closes the chain

As others have said, you can activate Kasaya after an opponent declare they want to close the chain, but you can do so before the link close. If you activate it during the resolution step, right after the damage has been counted during the damage step (where you can't activate it because there is no priority). That's the step where you would apply on hit effects amd such. That's the window where you could technically play a Rain Razors to a Bolt and Shot to have the go again but not the extra damage or the on hit reload (since the check for the hit already happened).

I don't play ninja very often, but when I do, my favorite combo to pull off is.....Red Preditory Streak go again (create 3 crouching tigers), Yellow Roar of the Tiger go again (create a 4th crouching tiger. Tigers get +1), play a crouching tiger for 1 damage go again, attack reaction Yellow Maul (crouching tiger gets +3 and create 1 more crouching tiger), play the remaining 4 crouching tigers each 1 damage go again, play Red Tiger Swipe for 4 damage go again (create X crouching tigers for each tiger you control which is 5), play the 5 crouching tigers each 1 damage go again.

LEEROY JENKINS! Great list gents. The art in this set hits so hard. It looks so cohesive without feeling homogeneous.

Trying to get into the game a second time and it does feel overwhelming. I saw Heavy Hitters and wanted to experience the set but had no time or money. I already missed prerelease for Mistveil but am going to try to get to some drafts. Then I see Rosetta everywhere. Hopefully it just comes down to simplifying to what I like and going to events every week or so to enjoy different formats. Love the content.

If an attack is fully absorbed by ward but no other cards are used to block, did the attack hit?

No. At least 1 point of life has to be taken from the opponent to be considered a hit. Doesn't matter (leaving some room in there for a random card that may say otherwise) how the damage is stopped.

I think I misremember how FAB was introduced at first. I'm surprised by the amount of sets.

As many? There's 3 set releases this year witha few other products. It's no where near as bad as mtg.
