Lui never fails to give good takes, problem is that these bottles will become more difficult to find/buy. These are a must have at your bar, and from these you explore to other tequilas, I'm trying 7 leguas next.

I can’t get Fortaleza in the Boston market any more but I keep G4, Siete Leguas, Cazcanes, and Tequila Ocho on my shelf.

Lalo just came to my area, and my god!! It is soooo good! Probably my new favorite tequila.

Ever since i got into tequila several months ago all i hear about is Fortaleza but i cant find it anywhere. Next is G4 and i had to drive to the next state over just to get that. But it is pretty dang delicious. My other favorites so far have been Ocho, Volans, El Tequileño, El Tesoro, Cascahuin Tahona. I'm finding i enjoy blanco and reposado the most.

I'd agree with all 5 choices, Lui, but the good thing is, there are dozens more out there that are great sippers as well (all blancos), and many are under $40 or less. Tequila had been a great learning experience for me and it did not take me or my wife long to learn to sip it - like a good scotch. It is a very enjoyable experience. Very relaxing. And very tasty.

El Tesoro Mundial Collection finished in Laphroaig scotch cask is amazeballs! G4 ain't bad either

Cascahuin is incredible and almost all of the things coming from their distillery is incredible.

Picked up some Cenote tequila the other day and I really enjoy it.

I wish G4 Reposado and Añejo were easier to find. I’ve only had their Blanco, but I liked it very much.

How about Camarena Tequila?

Hey lui, my go to is the arette blanco. I live in an ABC state and they recent started stocking the arette 101, have you had it before? Should i pick it up?

Today i seen a gent and his wife buy two of these and wanted to stir him the right way but i think he would’ve gotten mad at my remark for him buying those bottles

el tesoro for me is a good gatekeeper tequila but not the best. I would put siete leguas a gatekeeper too. Top would be fortaleza, ocho, g4, tears of llorona and cascahuin

What I notice from 2 years of consuming alcohol every other day it’s that most people don’t do their research on what’s the best thing to drink instead they just go for what’s popular which is most likely some bs 🤷🏽‍♂️.

Best Tequilas on the market? Anything from El Pandillo (NOM 1579) or anything made the Camarena familia.

Siete is not to be overlooked!

Fortaleza was hands down one of the worst ones I have tried in the past 3 years. Closest thing it taste like is cosimigos. Arette gran clase extra anejo is my most recent top pick.

Are you brazilian or portuguese ? You sound portuguese when you say Fortaleza.

It’s become very fashionable to trash Clase Azul meanwhile it’s still a great tasting tequila if you lean to the sweeter side. In my opinion it’s way superior to El Tesoro repo, which is not as good as Don Fulano and on a par with Codigo. While I’m at it, Nom 1146 is probably better than most of what he just peddled. Fortaleza seems so hyped and impossible to get. That’s usually a sure sign it’s overrated but I’m yet to try it. If I see a bottle I’m grabbing it to form my own opinion.

Clase Azul better than tesoro repo? U tweaking

Let me help you out bro. I wouldn't buy any of those tequilas. I've been living in Mexico for 10 years and I've been to Jalisco a few times where tequila is made. From what I can see, those bottles say 100% de agave. This is a marketing ploy and it's not certain what type of agave is used to produce the tequila. You want to look for something that says de agave Azul. That ensures it's a top quality tequila. A brand I can recommend is Noble Corazon and it comes from Arandas Jalisco which is one of only 2 places where tequila is produced, the other area is from a place called Tequila. Also, for those interested. Tequila Blanco is a young clear tequila, reposado is a mid aged and añejo is an aged and special tequila. For context, I said I wouldn't buy any of them, I never said I wouldn't drink them if someone offered it to me. Because, in Mexico they say... The best tequila is the one you pay for and give to me 😊
