Last shark we bought, which is the Navigator Professional Lift Away(#1), is the first one they show on the video. And it has lasted me around atleast half a decade before starting to have any bigger issues with it, and yet by attaching the hose again on the back qnd using some good gorilla duck tape to keep in its general place, well what can I say....it still works really well. Even the power roller, etc.... All still work really well. And definitely still has good suction. So I will have to strongly disagree. Now, we have just purchased the Rotator Pro, True Pet with the Powered Lift Away.(#4) It is showed as #4 in the video. And so far I really, like it, it has fantastic suction, like they mentioned and is rather easy to use, but it is heavier I eill say that. But as for how it will perdorm over-all, well only time will tell. But what I do know is even though we now have gotten the new Shark, I still love the fact that our Navigator Professional is still a great secondary/back up vaccuum! Especially because when there is a bigger, and much messier vaccum job to be done, I plan on using the older one, but also especially because I know it will still do a really good job. So again, I eill have to respectfully disagree. But this is because I have had a shark and still have that shark to this do even after it has been put through the ringer and used for many years and is still running real well. So I'm just saying. But that is also my experience, I definitely believe things can go erong with just about any product like that. And because of this I just hope the warranty does better than some of what I have previously read. But I can't speek to that directly either. I just know for a product of thos type, and especially of their current price ranges, I definitely think they should have good warranties to help guarantee most if not all of the machine. Atleast the very least for so many years after purchasing it. Thats one thing I eould like to see get better.

Stay far away from the Shark Apex! Brush stops working after a few uses.

Shark is a good choice for people who don't know anything about vacuums and who enjoy throwing money away.

I respectfully disagree. My shark is I years old and still works like a dream. I’ve never had a problem with it, and while it’s not as good as some of the newer sharks, it still beats most vacuums under 150 at Walmart. I’ve compared and tried them.

I disagree. I've had so many different brands of vacuums and my shark I bought 5 years ago is still going and outperforming every other vacuum I've ever used.

Totally disagree. I've had my Shark Navigator for several years and still works as well as on day one. Getting ready to buy another one for the second floor so I don't have to carry it from one floor to another. I'll never buy another brand.
