Any recommendations for a more reasonably priced rugged tablet, which runs windows & can use a docking station?
Can you recommend a Tablet that works in 20-30 degree weather? I only hear rugged and military. I also hear it can work at 110 degrees but I tired of watching videos that don’t show what I need. I don’t need bells and whistles. I just want to watch movies outside in cold weather. Thanks
I ordered the Samsung active pro. It was an open box 1/3 off. My present Samsung is running 5.1.1 android, apps not compatible anymore and this came up.
I just got a Samsung Active Pro LTE 10.1" tablet last week. It is comparable to my Samsung S4 except it's LCD vs OLED. I put a tempered glass screen protector to save on scratching and a 512gb microSD card. I'm very happy with it EXCEPT I foolishly upgraded to Android 11. The new file security features broke my offline gps maps by not allowing me to store the maps on the SD card. Wouldn't have been a problem on Android 10. Looking for a workaround or hoping this tablet gets Android 12. Doubtful since it started on 9 with is up to 3 version updates. Samsung usually doesn't usually give more than 3. If you haven't updated to 11, DON'T DO IT! Otherwise I'm very happy with the build, performance and removable battery of this tablet..
Nice

But tops out at only 350 nit brightness. .
The Samsung Tab Active 3 also has an S-Pen, DEX capability, and swapable batteries. It also has micro SD card expanded storage capability, up to 1TB. So essentially (based on this video's review) there isn't much of a difference between the Active 3 and the Pro, other than screen size and price point. It seems this person hasn't actually tested or used these devices...
8:42 Glad am not the only one who thought she had a pretty face. 😂🤣 I'd rather go with the $500 Samsung. Anything near $2k is insane.
My son has autism, we have bought like 7 tablets in a month but I really don't need it to be to technological. What you recommend?

That depends on his age and development level. There are a few "kids" tablets out there. We started with the kids tablet from Amazon and had the warranty. If he's older but needs a rugged pick up a tablet and a OtterBox style case. With kids we try to stay away from flagship tables given the abuse. Also we used a few dots on gunner cement on the case in non-critical areas to help hold the case on.
Shatter "resistant". No such thing as shatterproof.
