Thoughts on heroes against todays meta? Also if you have any suggestions on alternative decks you like, as thats the only deck I own, interested to pick up more decks!

ive been loving summon limit in Vanquish Soul, using Pantera to destroy it (all spell and traps in her column) feels sooooo satisfying to use, and realistically the deck doesnt summon more than twice on turn one usually anyways! that said, ive also found a TON of success with mikankos :)

Ninjas have been sneaky underrated this format. You need decent matchup knowledge and the voiceless matchup isnt great, but against fire you do a lot that hurts/slows them. You can book shit like crazy and then banishing poplar, princess, or Flamberge can really help you in the grind game

I play a dino deck in master duel and yes different format and card pool but snake eyes can struggle on me despite lack of hand traps

Before the first place I was wondering where VS and salad were since they've both had regional and ycs tops, then you mentioned them both as honorable mentions (which is fair). I have alot of experience with salad and definitely think its one of the better decks rn. I play the debug build which imo is the best. It doesnt really lose to hts and sets up really good boards (either both traps princess in grave or baronne or rank 4 xyz, roar, s:p with meowmine in grave, and princess). It can really use powerful cards like meowmine, promethean, wicckid, baronne, and even parallel exceed. This is completely a biased part but I love doing a boardbreaker/ht approach going second (siding out some engine and all hts except imperm and nib then siding in droplet, typhoon or cosmic, phanazmay, and another i forgot :D)

@@MattOsheaYGO first deck i picked up when i started playing again. all time favorite deck and will always enjoy being able to play it. my list has some good sauce in it too from doing hand tests for 3 months to learn it when i came back to the game lol. now i play like 10 different decks to spread it out and now get burnt out with one

You need just muckraker, chaos angel, typhon at 2-3 each and the rest is your choice. If you want to do unchained package, you had space. Lab doesn't need extra deck.

Spright live twin was a solid deck for a while, I think the live twin stuff is good but not as good as other engines, but if you play a deck you like you'll love the TCG

Spright by far best rogue deck imo when shifter in it .The ability for the OTK is just so high with it . Biggest problem is when hand traps stop otk then you got nothing been looking for something when that happens so my deck still has a shot to win .

I think Yubel needs a mention either a main mention or an honorable one. The deck’s only real weaknesses are consistency and being normal summon reliant. Decks aren’t playing backrow removal, and it effectively mains 5 super polys and can play shifter as well. Super underrated and will only get better in the coming weeks.

Just played against Yubel at locals today, he didnt see shifter or super poly so i was able to win with snake eye, but the deck looks very fun to play

Heroes is a solid board breaking deck that's strongest going 1st. I play this same deck, and it is awesome 👌. Shining Neos Wingman is a badass board breaker on your opponents turn, plus DPE and Dark Law are annoying interruptions against the opponent as well.

How about Phantom Knights?

Resonators?

I've built so many more "meta relevant" decks but just can't put mannadium down. It's so fun and interactive.and not linear in what it does and in a 50 person locals I typically top with it on a weekly basis. So I always tell them until I stop topping. I just can't find the sense to retire the deck lol

I think Runick Spright is probably better since Spright needs another engine to be at its best, like nimble, melffi, fur hire, etc

Without really digging into it, probably in the 10-12 range but there are a lot of decks that have an argument for that placement

Should’ve gotten my regional invite with dragons. I was stupid and when I called battle phase time was called and I took the draws instead of playing through it 😭 I learned from this mistake after talking with a judge and should’ve finished 6-3 instead of 4-3-2 🫠. A lot of x-3 got invites in Seattle last weekend.
