,,ah, use to go to school in Bay View, (St Lucas)/ I remember all the different shops (pretty much all gone today) Riding my bike to Humboldt Park here friends and I would rent rowboats on the lagoon,. the red brick Clement Ave, (since repaved), the sound of the hammers at Milwaukee Drop Forge ( which we could her in neighbouring St Francis). Nice to see that KK Ave is still a place for ,anu locally owned small shops , The old Iron Well at and the beach at South Shore Park. Of course cant forget to mention the restored Avalon Cinema where I used to go on weekends for double bill matinees (still remember one in a while the organist would play a few tunes between films on the theatre's Wurlitzer organ . The organ has long since been removed, restored, and has a new home at Organ Piper Pizza in Greenfield. (found couple videos and it really takes me back).

You missed my neighborhood - Washington Heights. The absolute best non-lake neighborhood of Milwaukee
