I had a y pipe with flowmaster super 10, burnt it off and it was nice and flowed well. Then I got an xpipe true dual flowmaster super 10s and it sounded wayyyy better

exactly, i really like the deep muscle sound but it not being too loud. so perfect

That 5.0 F150 with the stock exhaust all the way to the resonator with the muffler delete, was the truth. It sounded like a toned down version of the king range at the beginning.

@@KTMsoldier1988what resonator do you recommend? Have a 14 5.0 STX and need a better sound. Truck came with a aftermarket exhaust that has no resonator but super quiet muffler. Will probably do under bed dump

I'm loving the dps you're showing us. Definitely will help folks better deciding.

That king ranch at the beginning was the truth. Clean sound, no cab drone, and not obnoxious with the volume.

@@BlueOvals24 Nah, 5.4 2 valve tritons were great engines. Have 3, 2 valves with 225,000+ and still running stronger than any 5.3.

Corsa Xtreme is awesome on these 5.0's. I have the Corsa set up on my 2012 and it is incredible. Super easy install too.

I just ordered a set of those Rough Country ones for my '19 Screw Lariat. I can't wait to get them in and installed!

I have that on my 19 3.5eco & for it being an ecoboost I'm pleasantly surprised at how good it sounds. I'm thinking of getting it for my 21 f150 with the 5.0,but not sure if it'll be loud enough. My last 2 f150's that had 5.0's had the borla atak catback setups & that's a purrfect exhaust note to me,but at over $1,200 a pop,I'm wanting to replicate it at a far cheaper cost.

I've had the muffler delete, side dump for two years and I absolutely love it, not too loud and a nice deep rumble

The y pipe one was an 09-10, you can tell by the instrument cluster, so it's a 3V 5.4 instead. Another way you can tell is where the aftermarket pipe starts, there's no factory resonator, the 5.4 didn't have one but the 5.0 did. Still sounds good though. I think the 5.0 with the stock resonator and then y pipe duals with 4" rolled tips looks and sounds the best. The resonator is a free muffler that flows like a straight pipe and sounds like a Bullet or Roush.

Just put the rough country cat back on my 19 F150 5.0, it sounds absolutely amazing!!

There's lots of things I'd like to do to my 5.0 but I'm at my mom's adult community. I don't want her to get complaints and I've saved 25k since covid. The 5.0 sounds nice with pipes but mine will sound nicer in my own driveway, free and clear! Coyotes rock!

Get exhaust cutouts. Then when you start it up at the home it sounds stock, then at the press of a button a mile away, you can let that Coyote sing!

I got a muffler delete with a 2 and a quarter straight y pipe on my 14 f150 I love it not to loud and not to quiet

Agreed the 5.0l is the proper engine for that truck and Ford knows it but they ice caps say different maybe it's all because theres 2 less cylinders polluting, gm and Fiat use cylinder deactivation cuz they don't get any better gas mileage so it's really just for a emissions

These trucks sound beautiful with Corsa or Borla systems too

Still can't beat a true dual into Borla atak muffler and tails. Gets rid of all the unwanted rasp and its LOUD af with WOT but silent nearly cruising. Coyotes are tricky on sound. Long tubes really are the answer.

Any comment on highway or cruise drone? Looking at this for the daily.. don't want to annoy the girlfriend and kids.

Great work, I get that you gotta give the customer what they want but some of these people need to let someone else decide what to do with the exhaust. That center dump 8” dump is laughable and I would have never imagined someone actually wanted to make their truck slap.

My left ear loved it

I have single 4" open exhaust with no cats running out the stock location, aimed at the passenger side rear of the bed. Dual 3" into single 4" pipe from the headers. It's a supercharged 355 sbc engine making around 650. It's deafening from the driver's seat. How many decibels do you think it would register on your meter? It literally hurts my ears when I have the passenger window down and I'm driving by anything that the sound can bounce off of... even a corn field. Especially a wall or building. It's a whole different level when you get into the boost.

The one with the Flowmaster 10 Series, 3" exhaust and 8" tip was twice as good as all the others combined. I think I will order it.

Must be a kids truck that center dump is ridiculous, and is guaranteed to drag if you ever have to use the truck to cross a ditch. I prefer turn downs

I'm gonna go for that muffler delete. Sounds good and probably much cheaper. I'm new to V8's... If I also delete the resonator will there be drone at highway cruising speed? Assuming with the 10 speed and low rpm its not an issue?

@@charleshenson4183 yeah man my custom stainless true 2.5” duals sound incredible, and honestly I like the dual exit out back as opposed to the Roush dual one-side exit. Not gonna knock the Roush engineering one bit but strictly from a point of view I prefer my dual setup. That sound though, man it kills my mileage, LMAO!!!

I put the outlaw extreme flowmaster on my 17 5.0 I love it but all my neighbors hate it..I live in the country and no houses are close and all 5 houses I can see here it start every day.

I cut the resonator off my 2011 and put a flowmaster super40 with dual exits going out the side in front of the axle. It does drone a little on the highway but I've gotten used to it. Been thinking about switching to a true dual new catback system one day though.

Muffler delete with sidepipe was my favorite its what I'm gonna do to mine

@@capt.justinwhaley-jwfishin6896 that's pretty much it. Cut the old one off and they add a few more feet of new 2 inch pipe then weld the tip on. I ordered a custom tip online so it only cost me like $150 to do the delete and side pipe

FlowMaster 10 series it's the best sounding!

Black Widow setup sounded the best out of all of these to me. Corsa Sport or Extreme catbacks however blow all of these away by far.

Love the video. I'm looking for one of these trucks .the first thing I change is the exhaust. I'm a huge flowmaster guy. I think that rumble is the best sound. The truck mufflers 50 series are the perfect sound. I have 10 series on my monte carlos

Got me a 22 f150 with a flowmaster 40 or fx I can’t remember. Anyway I have bad drone at 1600-1900 rpm highway speed. Any suggestions on how to eliminate it or suggestions towards another product. It still has original resonator

The side dump in front of the wheel looked like it was mounted just below the spring.. a heavy load that squats it is going to wipe out that mount

Will that dual setup split at the rear work with the Hellwig rear stabilizer bar?

The king ranch at the beginning was a 5.4 not a 5.0

@@baumbachdrew7 I used to own a 2010 f150. The dash indicates 2009 or 2010. They switched to another dash with the screen in the middle for all trim levels in 2011 as they changed the engine options.

@@Kazuma.- Low trims on the 2011 had the same digital readout between the gauges as 2009/10. But the gauges were switch from red to blue and the center stack/radio were over hauled in 2011.

Do you have a link for the 8 in tip single dump? Loved that sound and wondering what you think about doing that to a 2013 Ford, same truck, but duel dumping it.

whoever doesn't know, that first exhaust with a straight pipe will drone like a MF'er. Sounds good from the outside but get to cruising and bring along Advil.

@@xxxweridoxx7848 it's a really deep sound. I had a 2006 f150 with a 40 series that I thought was nice but the 10 is definitely the way to go. It also helped my mpg. Hahaha

how much wouod it cost to do that custom side pipe, muffler delete?

Does ture dual actually make it sound different compared to how it is from the factory going into just one pipe?

So the #1 exhaust package (Rough Country) surprised me. The deep rumble has me thinking I should change out my Flowmaster Super-10. Also I didn't even know there was 2 different Super-10's. What's the difference between the 2 Flowmaster Super-10 mufflers? Please don't say 1 is a Outlaw and the other is not! 🤣🤣

If you had a 5.0 coyote you did the Super 10 with the regular tip at the end would it sounds different than the one with the ATM dump thank you

Never seen guys use that y set up like that usually just run custom tailpipes right out of each outlet to wherever you want it from the outlet to behind the wheel now you then go you know what I mean You just custom build the pipe right out the muffler right to the end each one should have its own thing coming right out of the 40 series or whatever you got

90% sure that first king ranch was a 5.4

The King Ranch was a 5.4L SOHC 3V Triton V8 not the legendary 5.0L Coyote V8.
