Every video that starts with "Top x" or "best x" is stupid and pure clickbait right from the start. You didn't test even a fraction of the bikes available or even know anything about them. The only reason for you making this video (or any video of yours) is to promote your codes / affiliatelinks. God I hate dishonest clickbait youtubers like you.

A comment from the land downunder……Australia. I have to agree with your comments with regards to the Aventon Level 2. A really great bike. After seeing many US reviewers, my wife and I purchased 2 x Aventon Level 2 6 weeks ago. A well priced bike and so enjoyable to ride. At 71 years of age it’s fun to be out exercising and knowing that the bike makes it possible to enjoy longer rides.

Great video... A word of warning to potential Velotric purchasers... I got my Discover 1 in October of 2022 and MAN did I love it at first. I had never ridden an ebike, but was super interested in one and a number of KZread videos popped up suggesting that. I paid $1,400 and some change out the door. From October to probably early April I put about 1,300 miles on that thing, so I clearly did my fair share of riding, but I have to tell you that if you want a great ebike, you just can't skip on quality, because the problems started arising all at once. The bike is generally difficult and a pain to maintain. If there is an issue with it, it almost seems like it becomes a total mystery in trying to diagnose what is wrong, and even worse for someone like me who isn't too good mechanically. I noticed that screws were coming loose faster than I would think, the tensions on things like the seat, handlebars and chains needing adjusting often, and at one point I literally could not shift into 7th gear (highest gear). I got almost all of these sorted out except that for the life of me I couldn't figure out why my front tire would do a death wobble no matter what I adjusted or reassembled. Push came to shove when after totally normal riding my rear brake light just got STUCK on, like you have to take the battery out to turn it off. I contacted Velotric support and after a bunch of back and forth I was sent a new replacement motor along with an unlisted grainy quality KZread video with no narration showing how to install it (which didn't help, I just slowly figured it out). The bike was seemingly fixed until recently when the power began randomly cutting in and out and has gotten progressively worse to the point where it's too frustrating to ride. I also contacted Velotric about this (as I never had this issue prior to the motor controller replacement) and they linked me a Google Drive video (strange) again of just a no narration thing showing how to "properly seat" the battery into the frame, which I have to tell you is clearly not my issue. Given these issues, the poor customer service, weird video links, literally NO local support if you have an issue and the overall, "god damn it, this bike is great when it works but useless when one issue pops up" I gave up on Velotric and my bike is currently up for sale locally. Bottom line, Velotric goes HARD on the social media sponsored stuff and sort of flooded the market on that for a while to get their product known, and it does feel mostly like hype. Maybe they'll grow and get a lot better, but I doubt I'll be purchasing another product from them. I have since purchased the Aventon Level 2 and have high hopes for it. A huge upgrade from what I can tell AND there is local support in my town for repairs of that brand.

Loved your video. I own an ebike from Ecotric, My bike is just short of 2 years old (1y,11m) and has over 800 miles. I bought an inexpensive bike because I didn't know if I'd really like it or not, I hadn't ridden in 30 years! Turns out, I love it and a big part of it is this bike is a tank! By that I mean it takes a fair amount of abuse in difficult conditions. 50% of my riding is on hilly dirt paths but I've also ridden in snow, beach sand, light mud and 18' brush. I don't do jumps and generally stay below 10 MPH off road. The bike has only needed normal bicycle maintenance outside of one electrical repair. My generation (pre-UL listing) had an issue with a set of power connectors being packaged too closely together. I fixed it easily (zip ties & solder) ; the problem hasn't shown on later bikes. The Facebook group "Ecotric Bicycle Owners' Group" is a great source of detailed knowledge for maintenance and the modifications that enthusiasts like to make. The beach pic shows the barebones bike, the woods bike pic is recent with the Ecotric brand fender & rack kit plus some other mods to fit my use.

I bought two of the Philodo H8 for me and my wife. Not on your list but the specs are, two 1000 watt motors with two removable 48 volt 22 Amp hour batteries, one for the front wheel, one for the back. Hydraulic disc brakes on Fat Stubbies, 35 MPH, 62 Miles PAS range, 40 non PAS, comes with phone holder, lights, horn etc. My only wish is that it also had shocks on the rear tire, but a seat post shock absorber aftermarket accessory will mitigate that.

TheVeleloctricis nice looking but you have to assemble the darn thing or pay 168 buks for s technician. It has no fenders, no carrier. By the time you have a basic bike you have spent 1200 or more. Also, you have no idea what bikes I've ridden so please get off your bike high horse. My opinion about these ebikes is for affordable ebikes so I'm not saying these ebikes are the best ebikes across all price points. I love how some people use over 1000$ on phones that they dont even use to the full potential and then they whine about 1000$ on an ebike that they will actually use if they are not a fat ass.

you can ride a Fat Tire bike on packed snow if you have metal studded tires, you cannot ride on ice unless you want to injure yourself a jack up your bike. Its best to avoid snow and ice on an ebike.

Man those prices would get you a super sick used bike. Im not gonna list off my gear because that's gross, but i see passengers constantly checking out my bike likely looking for a battery. It's a deserved ego boost at that point.

Anyone knows from where can you see these bikes brands in store? from where I live in South California, there are some bike stores have e-bikes, but they are showing only expensive ones, mostly over $2,000; At least LectircXP3 I am aware in Phoenix AZ they do have a show room can test ride, and buy one right away; But how about others? Where can I test ride a budget e-bike under 1,000 and buy one right away if test good? I know they are available shipping online, but as first time buyer of an e-bike, it’s really hard to trust that without a test ride

I know you don’t *want* to shell out over $2k, but anything less than that is usually generic Chinese bikes, sometimes rebranded as “made in America” because they do the final Assembly in the US but ultimately are no better. It’s your risk to buy such a bike. I bought a $4k Gazelle e-bike from a shop and it’s a blast and a genuine car replacement. Also enjoy having the support of the shop for repairing the bike/doing tune-ups

@@romanzapata5511 as the LectircXP3 is made in the USA in Phoenix AZ also in the price range $1~2,000, and RadPower also in this range and not a cheap China made bike. I believe there should be more choices and can some youtubers do some real reviews of bikes in this price range? ( if not already yet )

May have believed this. But my neighbor had a sorry 73. You called the super 73. Price hi . But one of my neighbors got a $2900 e-bike that was faster. My $3299 Grizzly blew it away. People are finding out it’s just a hype to get them sold.. my neighbor wanted to sue 73. He so upset because he paid more money than all of us. And we all blew him out.. 73 got to step it up..
