Don't all dash cams have loop recording? Need to say if parked, engine off, for the G-sensor to detect a bump in the night, the camera needs to be connected to Batt + or to a separate power source. Connected to Ign+ means it only has power during ignition ON (engine running). Never heard of any of these Dash Cams; other than Rediger.

Hello brother.. i am thinking of buying wolfbox i07 dashcam and i am doing a lot of research.. please can u let me know whether this dashcam has motion sensor monitoring in parking mode and whether this dashcam has super capacitor for heat resistance

The wolfbox i07 dashcam can record when your car is parked and hit by someone. It can also work well in hot weather. It has a special power supply and a new type of socket.

Well anything less than 4K doesn't cut it and preferable with polarized lens... Closest is the last one on the list. It is available as DC42 4K in many OEM packages...

Not able to find kingslim d2 2.5k dual dash cam in market now

any dash cam only as good as how it is fixed to the screen which i found will fall off in time and need refixed

I returned the 70Mai A800 because it has a terrible night image, you can't read the license plates but it's so blurry that you can't even tell which car it is. And in fact you didn't put any night images

Garmin dashcam mini 2 is affordable and it doesn’t track u by gps hence your speed either. Thanks Garmin for looking out.

This is not very good advice. The best all around dashcam ATM is the Viofo A119 Mini 2 or A229 Plus. Do some research and you will see everyone talks about these and this video doesn't contain either.

DOD-TEC makes some nice cameras, but their current top-of-the-line model is a little over $450. I trust that name, but the latest model is a little too pricey for me.

I spent the past 3 years trying to find a decent front and rear dash cam setup. Lots of trash out there above all is the absolute worst of them all, the Garmin. Absolute rip off. Trash equipment and a fire hazard. Horrible customer service and eventual trash abuse you then completly ignore you. Do Not buy Garmin Wolfbox G850 and G900 systems are by far the absolute Best if you want it done right. And their (American English Speaking) support team is awesume. I bought another after setting one up in my kids car. Avoid Garmin, buy Wolfbox

First off, using a text-to-speech engine to read sales literature in a video is an insult to my intelligence. Robotic voice narrations are an immediate turn off. Narrate your own videos, please. Examine them individually, summarize, and then make a recommendation. The cameras - Every dash cam I've ever seen has loop recording - There's no need to waste time restating that for every camera (providing further evidence that there is a text-to-speech engine reading sales literature). Size of memory cards supported - What REALLY matters is the video format it uses. You can get a lot more compressed video (time) on a smaller card. Loop recording also has a vulnerability that when/if the memory card gets corrupted, the video you're counting on being there, won't be. It would be wise to check it periodically. Resolution - If you want to see license plate numbers, get 4K. 1080p simply doesn't cut it unless you're practically a few feet from the other vehicle, and it's still iffy. Parking mode is useless if your power outlet is switched on/off with your ignition (key off = no power = no recordings). Camera aperture is of paramount importance for low light (night) vision. An aperture higher than 1.5 is a lot less desirable than 1.5 and below. I'm currently using an DOD-TEC LS460W. I like it a lot - It has great low-light sensitivity and a lot of features. It's been discontinued, and I wanted to see what newer models were available and what features were available. DOD-TEC no longer has distributors in the US (since the covid-cootie pandemic), but I was able to contact them directly in Taiwan. The price for their latest-and-greatest model , the GS980D has a price tag of over US$450. That is more than I'm willing to spend, and I'm exploring other options. The camera I currently have does not have a rear camera and has 1080p resolution. A rear camera in the next one I buy is not a "must have" for me. If any of you have a recommendation for a decent dash cam with good low light sensitivity and 4K resolution, I'd like to hear about it. Stay safe, and be well!
