Sorry for my ignorance but could you tell me what changes after PHNI? Kinda been on a break of yugioh and I can't figure out why the decks is going to change but solid deck profile I liked it

There is no ignorance question when you wanna talk about striker! The format changes big with all the broken fire decks coming out. They all trigger in the Stand by phase so Thrust will be live and will probably need to be main decks. Striker is naturally a go second deck but playing go first was so good for once.

Droplet is great to side in on good match ups! I like 2 desires in the deck for a go second. I have a list with nibs in the side and main deck 2 Pot and 2 pank. Take out forming for a 40 card deck.

Recommend playing 2 azalea 2 zeek it comes up alot try it out i am very good with this deck 😀 play change of heart and mind control steal snatch with 1 dark hole 2 raigeki cut the infinite impermanence their good i understand but their not spells to get your engine running asap also cut the upstarts you cant otk your opponent fast your making it more harder for yourself to defeat your opponent and linkage play it at 2 you must chain or neg 1 card multirole can be at 1 its very searchable sucks drawing 2 definitely take out terraforming 2 talents 1 or 2 thrust in main deck you might not agree but i run out of resources really fast so i run avarice kagari comes out every turn im not scared running out of them need all my resources I would also play 2 lighning storm I've played several several hours with the meta i hardly loose its not bad playing 2 roze you dont draw a pilot you loose for preferance 1 eagle booster or shark cannon pick your posison

The best reason why I love striker you can play it many ways. The question is what is the best way for your locals or regional or YCS. The deck will get 3 engage this year and the new cards making it a more utility deck. The first thing playing the deck is what you want to accomplish? Soon we will be in a heavy fire format so azalea might not be so good due to need 2 lights or darks.

What about snatch, mind control, change of heart?

That’s a great option for a list! The best thing about striker you can play so many styles for go second. This video was going first and it was a good way to play it like the old days. Also a list with no thrust or SP.

Im dumb so help me out. So I have multirole’s non-respond live, then I activate a searcher, then I chain something like linkage or drones. I summon the monster, then add with the searcher, and they can’t droll? I thought once the chain resolves droll gets activated on its own once I add? Or am I missing something?

with multirole eff up, you activate upstart and on res you get to activate a quick eff before your opponent cuz you're turn player. so you activate whatever quickplay, opponent can't chain due to multirole and on res of that eff the window for activating droll is gone.

Ok edit i rewatch the video i made the comment this mourning. Yeah this case is turn player priority with fast effs if not they can play theirs tho linkage will cost an extra card if used.

You can play desires there just like 2 runki players so I didn’t want to get mill my deck. I do agree that 2 desires is correct not 3.

The whole dodge droll cause you chain a QP spell after add don't work like that. After the add turn play has chance to use trigger effects then the other player has a chance to use trigger effects such as droll,then the turn player can use none triggers effs after both have had a chance to use them.

Droll isn’t a direct trigger wffect it’s trigger-like which is why droll reincarnation works. It does work like this

@@TheTJP195 droll reincarnation works cause droll is a if effect not a when so it can be anywhere in the chain after a card is add. Droll is still a trigger effect and will have a activation opportunity before the turn play can play a QP spell.

Droll does not work like that. You can still get drolled under Multi-roll because droll is an “if” effect and not a “when”. Same situation is when Access-code pops Striker link monster you can summon Raye because Raye is an “if” not a “when”.
