5:50 pretty much the worst ruling on a YCS I have ever seen. That headjudge clearly did not even fully read the card and wasn't prepared at all.

Unhappy Pens Fan i said the same thing. In the text it says “the activation of your cards and effects that include an effect that fusion summons a fusion monster cannot be negated, also your opponent’s cards and effects cannot activate when a monster is fusion summoned this way.” That comma indicates it’s all happening together meaning the prevention of activation of your opponents cards and effects is only the case when the controller of magical meltdown is fusion summoning. If the opponent is fusion summoning they can still activate their effects. If that comma was a period instead then i could see why they would rule it that way but that is in fact a comma.

Mind you, if I had Meltdown, and you activated Shaddoll Fusion/Invocation CL1, that would only be the case if I follow off with Book of the Law/El Shaddoll Fusion/Super Poly as CL2.

I see that Farfa was either very excited or very tired when uploading this video. But that's ok, because it's these silly mistakes that make him the Farfa we know and love.

The edge of his US ashes were a little yellowed due to aging , it didn't at all affect the shape of his sleeves. He certainly did not mark his sleeves, he was utterly slandered. Farfa is wrong, disclaiming him knowing so little.

You can if it’s being flipped up by a cards’ effect, but you cannot flip it up otherwise

Shaddoll Invoked (or as I call it - Invaddoll) was my bet for top 4, and I'm glad Jordan made it. I actually built a version of it in early 2019 (way before Cross-Sheep and the rest) and it's still one of my favorite decks. 2nd place's deck, though... MAN, the creativity... *He deserved to win*

5:45 that's actually not correct; there was a biiiiig fkup with the judging here. Card reads related to active player, this is wrong overall.

He did not mark his sleeves. I can tell you, his ashes edges turned yellow due to aging but that didn't affect the shapes of his sleeves at any point. This is unjustified slander against him.

How come yugioh can’t have the same banlist and rulings across all regions? As someone who plays other card games this makes no sense? Why divide the player base?

Ruling I don’t know, but banlist. Well, it’s long story. First OCG and TCG has different player base structure. Players can be categorized to 3 groups, competitive, casual and collector. Majority of players base of OCG are casuals and collectors with anime help driving sales. That’s why banning cards in anime is extremely difficult in OCG because there will be a backlashes. Take shock master for example. It take YEARS after TCG ban it for OCG to do so as well. TCG, on the other hands, has competitive players driving the sale of products. Not to mention different card pools. Book promos are notorious for not imported to the TCG. New change might be coming though, as the OCG player base now changed to competitive as well as the anime now not focus on OCG but rush duel instead and MR5 taking effect on the same day. The day OCG and TCG sharing the same banlist, ruling and cardpool might come near.

I wonder how good the deck will be when Fusion Dispatch comes out.

Do all your Shaddoll stuff then special Aleister from deck for a backup Invoked monster. Almost guarantees you will have an invoked fusion alongside whatever else.
