Like, I get it that there is content that not present in BetterEnd, but still this amount of blunt Ctrl+C; a little recolouring; Ctrl+V should not be allowed and encouraged… I would also bet that it was done without permission of the original author.

The only thing it's really got going for it is that it's available on Forge and Forge only, whereas Better End hasn't been available on anything other than Fabric since 1.16.5. But yeah, the blatant copying is pretty egregious.

@@woegarden Two people *can* land on the same idea through unrelated means but this is very clearly not what this is. Anyone who's a fan of Better End (and better nether to some extent) can see that the biome features of Voidbound are literally just biome features from Better End with the colors altered. Like, this is levels of similarity that blatantly reaches theft levels.

I love how protection pixel pretty much recreates the "industrial" era of pre-1.13

I Know you all are saying Voidbound is stealing (specifically luxin jungle) but I just checked and there's a new update that changes the whole biome to be much different.

if people keep saying to use the old ai voice, just go back to your first one to troll, it was my personal favorite anyway (also i’m glad the scripting has improved)

I have conflicting feelings on Voidbound. On the one hand, it's very clearly a blatant rip off of Better End (but with fewer features and biomes, and possibly some designs details also taken from Better Nether too), but on the other hand, it's available on Forge, and Better End hasn't been available on anything other than Fabric since 1.16.5.

Better End existed first, has more biomes and features, and revamps the design of the dragon arena (it also has an addon, Better End Cities, to revamp the end cities). Unless you're very dedicated to Forge I see no reason you'd ever choose the rip off over the OG.

Like, the only difference between the majority of the biome stuff is a pallet swap (one that in my opinion is pretty ugly without shaders), and the end mosquito is basically just the end dragonflies. I'd compare it to the meme about copying homework, but the homework copying meme would be too nice because at least the copier in the meme got permission to copy.

@@jacintacapelety9600 There is no palette swap they literally just took the texture files and lowered the brightness, only changing saturation for the wood blocks, and repeating the model for the vines.
