In Shirley Temple's autobiography "Child Star," she states that Michael Douglas' father, Kirk Douglas, was the most obscene man she had ever met in her life. She said that as a young newly married woman, she was in a nightclub with her husband, that he left her alone for a few minutes and that while he was away from their table, Kirk Douglas aporoached her and began telling her about the many sexual fantasies he had had about her over the years. Apparently, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

Hedy Lamar was a genius, at the advent of WWII she with a partner developed frequency hopping and other measures using radio signals to thwart attacks from axis powers, she and her partner created/invented radar techniques still used to block strategies including jamming radar signals, she worked closely with the US Navy developing this, she showed her patriotic feelings for her adopted country, Hedy was from czechoslovokia, she was heroic, intelligent beyond description, determined, so ahead of her time...I've given an oversimplified description of the very important work she was involved with for the good of this country and all its allies during WWII.....

I met a taxi driver who picked Elizabeth Taylor at the airport. She was with a woman. She talked with the Taxi driver probably because he had seen all of her films and asked them about them. He said she was very nice. She gave the biggest tip he ever got.
