Celine Dionne is intricately woven into my life story ... my beautiful husband was suffering from terminal cancer when "Because You Loved Me" hit the charts - it said everything I wanted to tell him, and to thank him for!! A year later Titanic came out, and my brother took me to see it ... I howled (the music did not help), and my brother swore up and down he would never take me to movies again!! Celine, thank you!! ❤❤❤

Love these movie theme songs ❤
I will never forget some theme songs I ever heard.
Some other movie songs (they might not all be theme songs) that are important to me: Conquest of Paradise (1492: Conquest of Paradise) Barking at the Moon (Bolt) Reality (La Boum) Lucy (The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian) Remember Me (Coco) Once in every lifetime (Eragon) Don't cry for me Argentina (Evita) I sing the Body Electric (Fame) The Leaving Shanty (Fisherman's Friends) So long and thanks for all the fish (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) I want to spend my lifetime loving you (The Mask of Zorro) The Mystic's Dream (The Mists of Avalon) Ca plane pour moi (Ruby Sparks) Remember Me (Troy)

So long and thanks for all the fish, great call
Lebo M. and Carmen Twillie versus Elton John for the best version of “Circle of Life”: both are great, but the added lines in Elton’s version make the song deeper. “Some say, ‘Eat or be eaten.’ / Some say, ‘Live and let live.’ But all are agreed, as they join the stampede, / You should never take more than you give.” And that’s from the first verse. Per the second verse of the latter, “Some of us fall by the wayside, / And some of us soar to the stars, / And some of us sail through our troubles, / And some have to live with the scars.”
the final countdown. Cheers.
nice video I enjoyed it very much

my favs are a hard days night and help , yes I'm a Beatle boy
Karate Kid, The Lost Boys, Bloodsport.... Where are the honorable mentions? 🤷
I love the Beatles. I think McCartney is a great artist. And "Live and Let Die" was one of his best post-Beatles songs. But "Thunderball" is the best Bond movie theme.

@lp-xl9ld Same. I like the Beatles and Paul McCartney too, although I think ''Hope of Deliverance'' was his best work post-Beatles. In regard to Bond themes, though, I am afraid that I need to disagree with you. I have never heard of Thunderball, and instead of Live and Let Die, I would put either A View To a Kill, Goldeneye or Skyfall.
Gangster's Paradise, Kiss From a Rose, Men in Black, Fame, Circle of Life, Weird Science, and Lose Yourself are my favorites. If I'm having a bad day or taking a walk I'll listen to these songs.
I love this. With the exception of the last one of those songs are from movies in the last forty years. There are so many from previous decades missing here. There are at least two on this list I don't even remember hearing before.
And thankfully, My Heart Will Go On made it onto the big screen.
