Some inaccuracies I noticed: the NS VIRM may be designed for 160, but due to the NS tracks using 1500V DC, they may not exceed 140km/h or they’ll pop the 4000A breakers; The DB IC2 is actually two completely different trains: the loco hauled Bombardier train limited to 160km/h and the ex Westbahn Stadler KISS certified for 200km/h. Also, the cars you showed for Denmark and Romania also run in Germany limited to 120, 140 or 160 (DR double deckers like in Romania 120, 3rd gen like in Denmark 140 and the 4th gen regio and IC cars can do 160) Also, SBB has DPZ (Re 450 hauled) trains that do 130, DTZ (RABe514) that do 140 and KISS (RABe 511/512) that do 160. Also, there’s some Schindler sleeper cars in the ÖBB nightjets from Zurich to Hamburg rated for 200km/h

On the last one, this is not Regio2N that are shown in video. This is TER2Ng (Z26500), max speed in service 160.

@@marioholfert5428 Um genau zu sein gibt es den IC2 sogar dreimal -Stadler KISS -200km/h -Twindexx mit Br 146 -160km/h -Twindexx mit Br 147 -160km/h So ist die Unterscheidung in einigen Materialien der DB. Effektiv (sprich für Fahrgäste relevant) sind es aber tatsächlich 2 verschiedene

The german IC2 is actually wrong because there is the IC2 twindexx (the one with lokomotive) thats build for 190kmph and regulated and operated at 160kmph and there is the IC2 Kiss (no lokomotive) that is the complete same as the Westbahn Stadler Kiss

That looks like a Traxx (Siemens) locomotive. The same as we would call Br 147 in Germany. And these train cars look awfully like German built br 765 DBpbzfa? I am not that much of an expert but this looks like it's probably imported from Germany

You could show the country together with the speeds. And 'opereted speed' looks improbable. Your 'record speed' is also doubtful as approval needs a 10% higher speed than the operational limit.

the fastest swiss train double decker the RABe 502

NS VIRM IV can only operate at 160 km/h on parts of track that have ERTMS signalling but the biggest part of the network has ATB-EG signalling which only allows speeds up to 140 km/h.

Denmark is 200 km/h

I think ITX Cheongchun isn't appropriate because it's not completely double decker.

Slovakia - actually: Škoda 3Ev type ŽSSK class 951/051 push-pull operational double-decker "semi" unit with Škoda 109E2 type ŽSSK class 381 elloc is capable 160 km/h, but... The shown Škoda 4Ev ŽSSK class 671 double-decker EMU is capable 160 km/h, but... I have found a stupid comment in the section about lines operational at 120 km/h. This guy is wrong. Kúty - Bratislava - Nové Zámky line is 140 km/h and Bratislava - Trenčín (Žilina) line is 160 km/h line. The reason, why those trainsets do not operate at the maximum speed is, 1) the rolling stock of the operator ŽSSK is not homogene, there are slower vehicles used too, they are avoiding the disballance in the schedule and job rotation 2) those trainsets are NOT equipped with ETCS, then they cannot run 160 on the Žilina line, because there is only ETCS on the line, the older national system was dismantled. Only way is having two men crew in the cabin, but it is a nonsense. 3) the Czech border to Hungarian border line is under reconstruction the only trains at 140 km/h are EuroCity trains, other, including freight trains, have their schedule computed between 90 - 100 km/h, maintaining dense symmetric parallel schedule. I am, since the first push-pull double-decker, always pointing out the insanity of the railway management and MoT, because the sets of 160 tempo, but 2 locos for 160 and 10 locos for 120 tempo. Also, the rebuilt ones (class 361), however capable 160, but do not have any HW and OS to be used / controlled from the cabcar (class 951 from the Škoda 3Ev sets).
