If we are prepared to waste 50/60 million on either bernardo silva or dani olmo personally i would far rather pay nico williams realise clause from athletic bilbao we need an out and out left winger and that's exactly what nico is imo plus hes younger and quicker than both olmo & silva.

@@henrykojo9921 He is not the cause of all the defensive flaws this season. Araujo, Kounde, etc, also have made mistakes. The issue is with the team's management - Physically and tactically. I still have my doubts about Xavi, to be honest. He is not consistent, and he is pretty predictable. Inzaghi, Ancelotti and many more managers have defeated him tactically. He cannot compete with Xavi Alonso tactically at his current level.

If Araujo is sold for one mistake I will lose all mu faith in the board tbh. Araujo has been solid and needs to stay.

Not sure why you keep saying the two worst performances this season has come from Roberto when we had performances like Romeu vs Antwerp and some other really bad ones

Why would Barca need olmo right now!!! If Barca can sign DM, De Jong will have no place, he has to be sold. Barca will have Pedri,Gavi,Gundogan, Fermin,May be Alex Garcia, also Roberto, Christensen for DM back up. I think it is enough quality.

Imo selling de jong is a good option. He kinda locked out our midfield formation. Cannot play single pivot. Play him further front, he cannot shoot. Play him furtherback, not good ball winner. Just my opinion.

Let's be realistic about FDJ, he is good with the ball but less contributing to our most wins and he's been in the club for 5years with high amount of salary,, he is slow to pick out fowards even when he is not playing as a CDM we still need a proper CM and he can generate proper money for proper players

Remember that pedri is literally made of glass and can't be depended on gundogan cant play every game with his age same goes with roberto with aleix garcia in the squad barca would be able to rotate and rest the starters more lessening the injury risk.

If that happened then instead of playing 3 cms all the time we would only have to play 2 cms at a time. De jong, pedri, gavi, gundogan, fermin and Roberto competing for 2 spots is more than enough. Plus we might get a new cm from la masia aswell.

People forget thay FDJ is a culer lol. He had a low season but i just can't forget how bad the team was playing when he got injured the first time. He just hasn't recaptured that form he had before the first injury, which was basically flawless... You know Roberto is probably deferring some of his wages as well 🤔

What about selling the loan players, except Araujo and Valle (maybe loan valle out for another year). Sell romeu, alonso is already leaving, and maybe sell martinez. It will be around the 50m. And if we have the money from todibo and abde probably 60m. Buy nico williams, and not felix. Sign sergi cardona, hermoso (if we sell martinez, i thought atletico wants him) and guido rodriquez for free. Zielinski is also free and could fit, just as Ndidi, a deacent DM. Berenguer (LM/LW) from atheltic club is also free, in case we sell ferran (which is not likely as his sell will not make us enough to pay man city). Let go of felix and cancelo, unless it is a free loan with a small amount of salary. If barca decides to sell FDJ, buy zubimendi and aleix garcia, and use casado and bernal next year. We will have a lot more of squad depth. And also younger and better players than we have now, like romeu and alonso. Further sign roberto for another year. And look to loan in or maybe buy Alberto moleiro (UD las palmas) for first team, i think he will become a lot better and maybe sell for profit in the future. And try to loan Chuki (real vallodid) for barca atletic to see how he develops. I think with the 40m from the lawsuit and the 100m bonus from nike, this could work out without selling the jong. As the salarys of the free players are lower than the players leaving. Maybe look to loan roque as he has been put in the squad instead of Gavi, and we have guille fernandez coming up. And off course keep on giving the young players time next year. We can also try selling Peña (5m?), and sign Meret as free agent from napoli, which is better but also a somewhat expensive backup GK for us or use kochen/astralaga as back up GK (with the sale of Peña we will have less salary and more money for Meret's salary). Frenkie should be sold. He offers nothing to Barcelona. He can't play the pivot, isn't creative, and doesn't assist or score. So what is his purpose exactly? Every humiliation Barcelona has had, Frenkie has played. He holds onto the ball for far too long and isn't particularly good on the defensive side either. Pedri needs to step up as well; since his first injury, he's been nothing short of dreadful. He doesn't look anything like the player he was before. Bernardo Silva is ageing, yes, but can still do a job while the younger players gain experience. A top-class pivot is also needed. Christensen can do a job but offers nothing creatively. Araujo is a fantastic defender most of the time, but he can't pass a ball to save his life. Those diagonal passes Pique did for a decade are vital for the style of play. Lewandowski is finished, but the money isn't there to replace him.

@@randydesnond4308 Don't get me wrong, Frenkie is a great player, but not for barcelona. He needs to play in a 4-2-3-1 formation as a double pivot. He can not play in a single pivot. He also isn't a great interior midfielder, as he doesn't get assists or goals. As you said, we all have our opinions.

We forget that for a player like FDJ he doesn't have to score goals and give assists to be considered important. He is the engine and main conductor of the team Xavi attempt to play him as a CDM is not working because that is not his role

@randydesnond4308 I understand what you're saying, but in my opinion, he should be sold. Take KDB, for example, frenkie is nowhere near his level in that midfield position. If barcelona gets a natural pivot, frenkie has no place in the team. He still lacks that final ball and creativity, in my opinion. Having said that, I do remember 2 seasons ago when he was given the freedom to go forward into the box. What we can both agree on, we need a defensive pivot, and then maybe frenkie will do better.

Sellinv FDJ while renewing Roberto and keeping the likes of Inigo Romeu Ferran and such is gonna be Laportas downfall
