Top 3 Tips On How To Strafe On Controller in The Division 2

Strafing, Chicken Dancing, Aids Movement. Whatever you call it, you may not like it, but it's not going anywhere. Strafing is a big part of PvP in The Division franchise. Always has been since the original Division game. Call of Duty has slide canceling, we have strafing. It adds another layer of skill to winning fights as opposed to just aiming and controlling recoil.
I hope that because of this video, more people will learn how just changing a few settings makes strafing on controller relatively easy, and maybe fewer players with good movement won't be spammed with mouse and keyboard or Cronus accusations.

I just started being more active in the dz. I found re mapping your R3 to R1 works well. You don’t have hold down R1 to run, just tap it. Press down on R3 to launch you skill.

I have an elite controller so I just remapped it to a paddle
The moment you said turn togle autorun off I am out. Guess I wont strafe as a pro it seems :)

Understandable. Some people hate having toggle to run off. But I have a friend with decent strafes and he still uses toggle to run, so it’s doable
I was doing alright in PvP honestly then I realised I was on default sense 🤣 accuracy also affects your ability to track targets but it seems like it is only in the vertical aspect which is no good for PvP

@@vincentv9338 Hello. I stopped playing D2 but I developed a quite good tactic with I can do wider strafes: If you strafe to the left let go of D and hold A and W if you strafe to the right hold D without W and repeat for wider strafes
I don't know man toggle to sprint has some advantages, I feel like I can strafe better when it's to toggle, idk maybe thumb muscles are just weak lol

It wud be nice if there was an auto sprint in the settings. Why do u think its better when holding n not toggling?

I just think it’s easier to move fluidly with hold to sprint. I noticed a big change immediately when I changed to it. And I’ve seen the same in other people when they changed too
How do you map the sprint to a paddle? I have the powerA version of the elite controller. Thanks!

Not sure about the powerA, but I remapped my buttons in the Xbox menus with the elite 2

Coming from the Cheese King, the best mortar in Div 2, all the while being accused of using Cronus for his gunplay (falsely of course), that’s a pretty cool comment
If you click sprint each time you look right and left your agent will wiggle really fast.

Awwwhh helping the youngins (hour wise) in PvP- should've included a hip fire aspect Fallenaces xbox lvl30 where the Dzs are less cheesy besides Summit exotics exploit
So to strafe is almost similar to wall bouncing in Gears of War
how do you tbag that fast?
