Jet's impressive championship record includes three Steel Challenge (World Speed Shooting Championship) crowns (1990, 1992, 1993) and three World Shoot-Off Championships (1993, 1994, 1995). Most recently, he won the 2019 Extreme Euro Championship.
In this video, Myles asks Jet about his top 3 competition shooting takeaways from his long, decorated career.
If you're ever in the Philippines, in the Metro-Manila area, make sure to check out one of his three shooting ranges. He has locations in Pasig, Makati, and Quezon City.
*Most footage included in this video is general footage of Jethro in training and/or various competitions. Some of the footage does not directly correlate to what is talked about in the video.

I ROed him at a couple of USPSA matches in NYS in the 90,s .Him and his dad was always polite and professional.
I understand what he is saying always run at 90% of your capabilities even if it means you have to slow down a little bit! I like it!
Love it when champions have enough confidence to share their takeaways 🇺🇸

Thank you for sharing the shooting takeaways from a renowned speed shooting champion.
Wow, was not expecting to Jethro Dionisio! Filipino pride!
Great content thank you Jet for sharing his experiences in competition!
Really appreciate Jet sharing these tips
Great video, thanks for posting.
I have been in two of his shooting ranges. Great environment! I have held firearms that I never thought I’m gonna hold or let alone fire in their Pasig branch and took photos for bragging rights (I live near that branch too), and I can’t wait to go there and shoot there again. I want to meet the man himself one of this days. Great video! Much love from the Philippines!
WOAH amazing!
Simple strategies, but it really hits home when it's affirmed by someone with the experience of Mr. Dionisio.
Good advice. Thank you for the info!👍😊🇺🇸😊
Very true that initial gripping of the gun is that important, keep it up guys great content
Maraming salamat po ! I’m struggling with staying positive after I have malfunctions or make mistakes on stages . Even great shooters face adversity in matches and a positive mindset is the only way to recover
great video man
Much respect
Jet...one of the many greats that at one time or another gave me a thorough whoopin'. 😁

Good stuff. Having that focus and consistency is hard. It would be nice to hear more about how competition shooters in different disciplines under the connected rules deal with being thrown out of their flow during a stage. They start, something happens like a malfunction but there is a lot more of the stage and how do they get back into it? In what circumstances and based on rules come the rules into play. What to do when you fall for some reason and how do competitions differ around the world? More detail on his grip would have been nice, but busy people are busy.

Thanks. We were going to create a video comparing different competitions around the world, but after talking to Jet about it, there are differences but ultimately they are very similar, so there wasn’t enough valuable differences to create a video.
Pilipino proud bro
he is a legend
Exactly what Robertrussell 3158 said! BTW, very good tips given.
Mainly it's the shooter that wins the competition. Still the pistols do contribute in the final outcome. Any chance, Jet can tell us some of his favorite competition handguns? Thank you.
Its an Honor
I am curious, is Jet has left eye dominance or is a right eye dominant shooter? I am wondering any famous champion shooters who is right handed but is left eye dominant or is it worth to change your eye dominance if you are into matches coz I am noticing some delays if I use my left eye (I am left eye dominant) than my right eye but its quite annoying to close my left eye to make my sight use my right eye.
Meditation
haha ! Meditation ! Yes ! - Look into Joe Dispenza for the advanced version of meditation
Then I'll go ask an ispc sports shooter their advice on gunfights.
You should call him Manong Jet.
Champion my ass. Heck a weak. And you think he's a warrior? My father was in the war in Cambodia. Take this jet dude to Ukraine or Afghan. I am not impress. How can I when I have my father whos the real deal.
