    I use the thurston grip which is my favourite but changed it by putting my thumb on the card. Try making a vide by cutting celery with each of the three type of grips.

    Thurston with a modified release, flipping your hand and releasing the card about 60 degrees clockwise from the traditional inside frisbee/overhand releases point. Card releases upside down with counterclockwise rotation and generates more torque from the fingertips. Got the idea from RSJ using his curveball technique and twisted the wrist to release the opposite way at the end. More difficult to control but great for additional distance and power from standard Thurston.

    Are there any anadexterious card throwers out there you know of??...i have been card throwing for about 6 months. After about 3 i modified the thruston technique so it had a very beautiful long arch like curve but hit its target maybe 75% of the time (im still a little wild). In November i noticed myself getting tennis elbow. Working as a meat cutter i worried i may have a hard time continuing my occupation in the future so i relearned the thurston technique with my left hand. Now i can throw cards both left and right handed with both decend speed. But still trying to improve accuracy. Idk how fast it goes but i stand about 14 feet away and before you can blink it hits the target sounding like a rock hit it.

    How did you do that your left hand card back in video

  • @Redmenace96
    @Redmenace963 жыл бұрын

    The first two are based on a 'natural' handling. The two card-handlers/magicians are giving you a technique to use in games, or at a table, or over a short distance. They are not giving you a straight, max velocity throwing for distance and speed technique.
