I have both and I think they're both great and have great games so ... what does that make me? Not a true gamer just because I like Vita, too?

@ Lousvidion that your own opinion as the vita does have alot of games if you check psn quite a few jrpgs and that people are overlooking and other games from japan that had slip onto the psn store with no marketing about it alot of overlooked games which are exposed to the world like mario etc only games created by sony owned studios are known which isnt alot because those are triple a studios tha take time and because no one knowns about the other games created by other studios like for example dragons crown was pretty much unknown until the boob incident that feminist were getting all bitchy about shined a light on that game to get major exposure to casual gamers. I bought both ps vita and 3ds today for black friday. i ended up prefering my ps vita over 3ds the games. Also the number of games dont matter when a person will be only interested a few games. 3ds i only care for 3 games fire emblem, pokemon, project x zone and the zelda. Ps vita alot more. Also a true gamer doesnt talk down about other gaming system. You are just a fanboy not a "true gamer".

Tariq Hassan I'm just opposite. I have vita and 3ds but most of my games are on vita. i just games on vita more but that's my choice. to say vita has no games I think is unfair. it has loads of good games just as 3ds does even though I play a lot on my 3ds due to lack of games I actually like.

glad to see project x zone getting some love, it is an awesome games.

Dude put the title of the game on the screen while the trailer is playing please! I know I can just look in the description to see what game it is but that is just inconvenient. Sorry if I sound like a jerk but just put an annotation with the title at least!

love it, the 3ds xl is amazing, and the game is great. Its pretty easy but i'm sure the battles get more difficult, only about 3 hours in, and I got to say, it's a must own game

In my opinion I absolutely agree that Fire Emblem Awakening deserves to be number one. It's such a beautiful game with gorgeous cutscenes, extremely fun, and sometimes challenging, battles, and lovely support conversations. I couldn't put the game down once I started to play since it was so good. XD

Heroes of ruin, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, Etrian Odyssey, Shin Megami Tensai IV, and all the mario games :)

i havent had a handheld since the first psp came out. ive been playing consoles since then. im trying to get a 3ds to have when im on the go haha and i know for sure im getting fire emblem i used to play it on my old first version ds :p

Im not even worried about consoles right now to be honest. I just got my 3DS XL with DK country returns, Zelda Link between worlds and OoT, Kid Icarus uprising, and animal crossing new leaf.. and Im still overwhelmed by how many more AWESOME games I need to catch up on. More than half the games on this list are in my back log. I probably won't even grab another home console until black friday! Nintendo freakin rules.

Anyone tell me is it worth to buy a 3DS now? I had GB, GBA, NDS for my childhood, it was extremely fine and grow up with me, however never played since I went to college like 6-7 years ago. But as I saw 3D version of fire amblem and pokemon, and Monster Hunter, I'm so excited!!! Is it worth to buy it now? I'm afraid if Nintendo have some new machine come out sometimes since it was 2-3 years since 3DS released, thank you!

also zelda , and metroid and bravely default and fantasy world ...... alot of good exclusive on the 3ds , getting it now

Compared to Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon Blue/Red rescue team And Explorers of Time/Darkness, Gates to Infinity is quite a step back in my opinion, Exept for most of the combat.

Pokemon Gates to Infinity wasn't that good. Pros: Good graphics, good gameplay. Cons: Not so entertaining story, lack of wide variety of pokemon, music downgrade, too easy. Keep in mind, I'm not saying it's a bad game. I love it. The problem is that it's a downgrade from previous games.

the titles of each game are in the description. The number next to each title corresponds to the number list in the video...hoped that made sense, lol.

Why didn't the video have the names of some of the games?

Tales of the Abyss, the 3DS remake of the earlier PS2 version of it.

good list of games but there were quite a few games without titles named and if a person doesn't know the game from seeing gameplay they likely couldn't identify it i don't know number 24 myself

Another reason being that there's a lack of games in the software library, though another employee argues they're trying to stay digital and that there's plenty of shit online to go around, so idk yet. We'll just have to wait and see

Just got Pokemon X (My first 3ds game) I think my second game will be Fire Emblem, because I loved playing as Ike and Marth in Super Smash Bros Brawl, I've never played any of the games before though.

3DS kicks Vita's ass. And the game library is getting more impressive every month.

I love both 3ds and ps vita.

And also a lot of games came before 2013, so I think it's more a list of best games to date than 2013 edition.

The game hasn't even been released yet so why the hell would it be on the list? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's gonna be fun to play, since I'll be buying one of the versions, not sure which one to be honest. Still, don't forget this was made in mid July this year and X/Y don't come out til Oct 6 I believe, or was it the 22nd? I gotta check

Good choices Kingdom Hearts, Fire Emblem. I kinda think Resident Evil Revelations could have been a little higher in the list. Best shooter on the 3DS. Project X Zone of course was the best.

Both the PS Vita and 3ds are great handhelds and have fun games to play, i love gaming on both systems don't understand why people care about games, as long as it has games you love to play on it or want to play on it get it. I got a PS vita just to play Persona 4 Golden, Got a 3ds just to play Devil Survivor Overclocked, i have bought several more games on each system and don't regret my purchase, playing classic PSone, psp games on Vita is awesome especially with the great screen. On 3ds i got to play Fire emblem Awakening, Resident Evil Revelations, Tales of Abyss, Project X zone, Pokemon X and Y, etc..., Vita i got to play: P4G, Soul Sacrifice, Ninja Gaiden Sigma+1 and 2, Virtue's last reward, etc... not naming my PSP or PS1 games no point, but each system has their own games that people want to play on them stop arguing about them

Buying my 3ds this Saturday! Such a tough choice what to get, KH DDD, tales of the abyss, legend of zelda, fire emblem awekening (seriously loved sacred stones, seems like i'm gonna have a blast with this one!) or luigi's mansion. What would you guy's choose? I'm probably going with the sequel to 999 (it's on sale for 10 bucks) and phoenix wright :D

I got a link between worlds and phoenix wright, dual destinies as staters. Both games were brilliant! Then I got luigi's mansion, the game was way more fun than I would have imagined, I think it's about three times as good as the original (And I loved that game!). I'm playing tales of the abyss right now, and it's one hell of an RPG, I'm having a lot of fun with it's storyline, mailnly because it took very little time to introduce you to anything.The storyline hooked me and for the first time I have no idea where the story is going! After tales i'm probably taking your advice and buying 3d land, I loved the wiiu version (I hope they'll someday make a sequel, I think the cat suit was the most usefull powerup ever!)

Wait so you put resident evil revelations at 15 yet you put project x zone at 5 that's just wrong and I've never played them. At least look at the reviews

Well, If you never played Zelda OoT back in the N64 era, you should definitely pick this one first. It's not for nothing that it's considered the best game of all time ;)

Man.... too many good games I have to get ._.

Paper Mario Sticker Star was the worst Paper Mario game I've ever played. The game was extremely linear, the stickers took the feeling of progression away, and the puzzles in the game were hardly puzzles. I would get stuck in the game constantly from not guessing to do the right random thing at the right time. Nothing made sense.

Don't have Pokemon X & Y?

I'm one of those people who only uses the 3DS for Pokemon. Though now that I've caught all 718 Pokémon and an experienced competitive battler, I'm looking to try a new game for the 3DS. Unfortunately I don't like many Nintendo games, I find them dated, tedious, kiddy and restricted to a few acclaimed franchises. Anybody got any suggestions for me?

I've been considering one, but the mixed feedback I've been getting is kinda a turnoff. The GameStop employees seem to be more than happy to push the sale, but then again that's from a making money point of view, so it's iffy at best to trust their input, though they do know some stuff, I'll give em that. I hear they're dropping the price to $200 since they can't get it to sell and cuz of the PS4 being released.

24 is heroes of ruin. I don't have it but I recognize it. the lack of titles makes this list a lot less useful.

I've played at least 19 of these and probibly put every one on it. 5 problems: tales of the abyss and resident evil revaluations were too low, super mario 3d land and luigi's mantion dark moon were too high (fun, but not at the series standards); don't say i don't know, because i have 100% twice in both, finally, where the heck is devil survivor overclocked? you clearly know about smt V and soul hackers, wheres dso? loz:oot got #2, so "its a remake" doesn't cut it. Not hating, just expressing.

But my screen stuffed up so it was all correct but 24 was still heros of ruin

I can't help but rank Fire Emblem lower on my personal list. I know a lot of people don't mind the fact that the characters are missing their feet, but each battle sequence you watch is a constant reminder that you're playing a game. It severely takes you out of the world. Even after 6 hours in, I wasn't used to the fact they don't have feet. It's an amazing game, but the lack of feet bothers me like a crooked pencil does an OCD person.

Lol yeah, it's kinda unfair to call unreleased games the best of all times, though I'm sure X and Y will be a hell of a lot of fun to play once they're out. I'm not sure which version I'll get though o.O

Btw the guy who uploaded this vid putted bad quality cause belive me I do have these games and they are amazing

If all of you people hate the 3DS so much then why are you watching this video in the first place. Just watch something about the PSVita that you all love and let people who enjoy the 3DS post their opinions in peace. Calling people names on youtube comments because they have a different taste in video games than you do is probably the least mature thing I've ever been witness to, and seeing it on almost every video I watch is beyond annoying. Now please feel free to call me a "Nintendrone" or a "3DS fanboy" or whatever other unoriginal crap you want to think up if you wanna get your silly little temper out.

Tales of the abyss is wayy better than spiderman (my opion) but i dont really care what ordor theyre in i just want to buy some bew good rpg games for 3ds and ps vita is not worth it but that ps4 is so ya
