I would like to give a fact related with number 11. When Figure is done checking every closet in the room, he will move to the previous room and check closets in that room, once you start the minigame, the door will shut and lock, as you are doing the minigame, the constant banging is Figure trying to get through the door, as he must have heard the door close behind him, once you finish the minigame, The Figure will bust the door down, this is also an explanation to why you always hear a door break when you start running to the elevator.

Figure grabbing me out of the closet is the only thing that actually jumpscared me in that game

So about the figure having no ears thing: - Just like the Janitor from Little Nightmares, after years of practice he can remember his surroundings to get around easily - The clicking sounds he makes help him move around (echolocation) - He can feel vibrations in the ground from walking

The Figure's design was actually based off of the Death Angles from A Quiet Place. They have the same features as well. They both have exo-skeletons on their ribs, and they both are blind but have great hearing. They also both use echo-location, thats why you hear clicking sounds.

It's based of a boss enemy from an old roblox game

Fun fact: the figure doesn't have ears neither eyes, but it has an auditor meatus (how birds hear) and it's hearing is super powerfull, but the downside is that the figure sometimes doesn't know where he/she is going so the figure might touch a wall or a book shelf every now and then. See in game for yourself.

Here is a not so fun fact: seeing a other player die from figure, you see the other player's head getting ripped off. (Idk if your head is getting ripped off or your head is bitten and doors has a rating of everybody

figure has no ears, it just uses its senses that are greater than yours, according to guiding light. i know you're gonna be like "OHHH HE CHANGED HIS COMMENT!!!!" but im just correcting myself. also, if you still think im wrong: the devs said those were blisters. they are literally called blisters in the model.

Figure does have ears, it is displayed on the UGC LSPLASH made of the figure, aswell as on the model. He uses echolocation aswell because he has enhanced hearing and vibration sensing.

Figure only chase you even when you crouch and move near him. If you just stand still he will stop charging towards you.

There is actually another fact that is op, if you have good hearing ur in luck cuz the books actually make a twinkling sound when you approach. This also works on keys on some other rooms. This is super useful to find the last books of door 50.

With figure, I had always thought that despite him being blind, he has got an extreme knowledge into what his surroundings are. It could possible be due to echo location where the sound he makes bounces off everything.

My theory is figure can see still, but his vision is blurry and he is just far too tall to see the player. My reasoning for this is me and my friend would crouch, and at one point he started looking down (to see us) and chasing after us.

Actually, if you look on Figure’s model, you can see two holes in the side of his head. Now this could be an error or it could be ears. Nice attention to detail if they are his ears!

I would like to point out that figure doesn't hear your heartbeat even tho it shows your heart its you breathing when you die it says you have to controll your breathing + he would hear you and chase you forever

There's actually 2 hiding spots that he'll never go unless you move when he's near 1: the table area. just hide behind the closet next to the table 2: exit door. Just hide the right side when the exit door is of the back of another closet.

so there’s an odd experience i had with figure, i was playing a run with a streamer until i was found but he only did 1 damage per tick to me, which i was relatively confused about so i didn’t move but uh, yeah

I think fact 20 is just going off of a classic type of enemy in horror sections for minecraft or just horror games i general. There is usually always some sort of enemy with long limbs that can hear really well, but is blind, like the figure in doors, green in rainbow freinds, the janitor in little nightmares, or the warden if you get rid of the long limbs part.

4:29 Correction: Right now doors is still in alpha, so this is most likely what figure looked like in pre-alpha.

There was an older version of figure where he had no mouth but only eye sockets. I honestly didn't know how he was supposed to kill you since his hands are just balled up and can't rip anyone's head off, yet alone eating them with no mouth.

I think in the canon, hide basically cant enter the library or level 100 due to the fact that the doors closes after a player walks through it. (Same goes for door 100 since door 99 closes)

I’m telling you The Figure doesn’t need ears to hear. Its bones are so soft(So it can bend its arms!) they vibrate like a piece of string and vibration is sound/voice. So he could just listen through his bones and yes this is real and is used by a mad deaf piano man who used a gold plate on his cheekbones near his ears so he can hear/feel the sound. Although pretty sure all the facts comes from the Doors Fandom trivia area so I don’t blame you. (Also need moment.)

Figure is NOT based off the demogorgon ,he is based of the sand worm from the movie “dune”

Something really funny happened to me before with figure. So I was doing the heartbeat miny-game, and when I died, I died to unknown, and reached room 0. I got really furious about that. Also, one time, I did the hear beat miny-game, and it was only like 4 or 5 moves. But I died right after because I uncrouched, walked around, and figure k!lled me. So yea.

I still remember a run with my friend, i crouched and hid in one open corner hoping Figure wont sense me, but his hitbox is so *THICK* that it literally walked into me. *I cried ater for like 20 seconds*

fun fact: the figure isnt inspired by the demogorgon. its first design was made for a zombie game where the figure would spawn in on very rare occasions. its second design where the mouth was added and it was going to be used for doors instead was actually inspired by some sand worm from a film. i forgot what film though. then the final design was just adding some more body parts like hands

Another fact- Yall know that bookshelf near the closet and the stairs on the right side? So, me and my friends were playing doors and we realized that Figure is not programmed to go to that bookshelf. It can only go there if you are being chased. It's also right next to the stairs, so if you want to get upstairs but Figure is nearby, hide by that bookshelf.

Fact number 25: if your on mobile and revive in the library, you will lose the crouch button and keep your revive because it’s impossible to beat the library without crouch.

I thought that Figure was inspired by SirenHead because it the circular mouth and his overall appearance but than again he dose look a bit like the Demogorgon so I learned what I wanted to learn:)

I have theory how figure gets around Echolocation When he roars he sends echo wave telling him where stuff is Also I thin figure hears out of his mouth, it’s a theory

So figure will also punish any people who just hid at the entrance the whole time till the door gets opened as they basically get instantly killed… COOL!
