Despite them being exact opposites in personality, Hermione and Luna are my two favorite HP ladies not only because of their loyalty to Harry but their fierce independence, courage, brains, and not letting the fact that they’re outcasts drag them down. All of the ladies in this franchise are amazing in their own way, perfectly written and developed

"You foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach." My cousin and I would often quote that line at each other, usually out of context!😂

Maybe it’s the line delivery, but I always liked in Philosopher’s Stone how she says “You’re saying it wrong. It’s leviosa, not leviosaa”

I understand and agree with it being an iconic quote/piece of history however why is it cementing her as a lovable yet insecure genius OR a loyal friend of the boys? That just makes her an elitist snob who looks down on the boys. Especially Ron since it’s targeted at him particularly.

The Torture scene was so intense that, it took many months to do and not only that, Helena kept checking on Emma afterwards to make sure she was okay.

Hermione punching Draco in the movie is indeed much more satisfying than the slap in the book. But what makes the movie version more satisfying is that, after she punches Draco, he also hits the back of his head on the rock behind him. So basically, it was a double damage.

The ‘role switching’ was a very nice, heartwarming, touch.

The most iconic moment for me is “It’s LeviOsa not LevioSaAaH” 🫶🏻

My absolute favorite Hermione moment in the series, wasn't in the movie either, at the end of GOF, revealing on the train home she had kidnapped and imprisoned Rita Skeeter in a jar in her illegal beetle form and blackmailed her to stop writing for the Dailey Prophet paper, or she'd be turned into the Ministry as an unregistered animagis, 😈 smart and evil, she would've done well in Slytherin too💜

I'm definitely a combo of Hermione and Luna, honestly.

She the true and strong members of the Trio. Emma Watson. was phenomenal to play, Hermione Granger. She the Wizard for sure.

That whimper from Ron when Hermione casts her Stupify spell is absolute 😘👌🏼*chef’s kiss*

Forgot: bringing them to the Forest of Dean after escaping the Ministry when Yaxley grabbed her and shook him off at Sirius’ place or finding Bathilda dead & runs to save Harry and staying with Harry and the Mission when Ron demands to know who she’s choosing when he leaves..In the books: she steals ingredients from Snape’s office during class, organized SPEW even though made fun of and eventually makes it a law as an adult, hiding Rob under the cloak while escaping Death Eaters at Luna’s house, keeps herself together while wearing the Horcrux while Harry and Rob act up when they do, figuring out the food situation while hiding, figuring out Snape’s trap in Stone, taking care of Harry when they escaped Voldemort from Bathilda’s house, and becoming Minister of Magic…

I am a Potterhead! Love the dance scene the best. Harry and Hermione's eternal friendship is so powerful here!

My 3 most favorite Hermione moments are the Leviosa speech, punching Draco Malfoy and then the scene that got me most of all was watching her erase her existence from her parents' memories to keep them safe.

Hermione's one of those people who basically cares about her friends deeply and would go out of her way for them. One other thing I always loved about her is she doesn't tolerate bull$h!t and would speak up for herself especially to Draco. Emma Watson was great as Hermione. No one could do her justice.

Her punching Malfoy is her defining moment for me!💘💘💘

I'm sorry, but that punch to Draco's face is one of the best in the entire series!

Harry (internally): I don't know where Hermione & Ron came from or how they got there, but I sure was happy to see them.

Most of Ron's intelligence in the books went to Hermione in the movies.

Well, if it weren't for Hermoine in the first place, Harry couldn't pull out the patrnus charm in the first place

By her mere presence. She was with him, when they travled back in time, requested by Dumbledore. She told Harry that no one came. And that made him realize who it was in the first place. If it wasn't for Hermione, traveling back in time with that time-turner, understanding what Dumbledore requested of them, in the hospital wing, they wouldn't have gotten to that point where they could interfere.@mayapicazo2999

Yes, they had to let Ron be an expert at Wizards' Chess because he's a pureblood, but apart from that they decimated him.

Hermoine was definitely one of the best characters. Her punching Malfoy was my favorite

That’s the problem with most support characters because they had to cut so much side stories from the books. Too bad it was made long before GoT since each book could have used a full season.

There were plenty of scenes with Fred and George....of course I read the books after I watched the movies, so it kinda all blends together for me. There is a video on KZread that has enough scenes in it for the whole of "Counting Stars" by OneRebublic...over 7 minutes. Lol

Hermione is generally a really inspiring charakter: she has her priorities and principles straight, speaks up for herself, her loved ones and those being discriminated, she is super smart and questions rules according to how effective/fair/applicable they are (not just breaking them, because she doesn't care, but because of good reasons)... And as friend she is loving, loyal and considerate, just an amazing friend to have.

I had a friend like Hermionie in school. She really was like she was in the book and movies. Tough and bossy yes and we fought but oh how I liked her!

It's pretty clear how Steve Kloves ruined Ron's character at the expense of making Hermione more brilliant. In the first novel, Hermione was the one panicking in the Devil's Snare scene while Ron was calm and collective, but because they cut the potions riddle, and Ron would have his moment with the chess game, they had to give the Devil's Snare to Hermione. Which may have had good intentions by giving each of the main trio a puzzle to solve (Harry's was the flying keys), but little did we know how much of a snowball effect that decision would cause. Also, I don't think Ron or Harry would have appreciated Hermione using magic to make Cormac move and get scored on so Ron would get the Keeper position. And the dance scene in DH1 was another way the films did the youngest Weasley kids dirty, as Hermione's mind was on Ron and Harry's was on Ginny in the novel, even if its main purpose was to give Harry and Hermione a distraction to cheer them up. Hopefully the new TV series won't try to push Harry and Hermione together despite both spending their childhoods in the Muggle world, and have Hermione alter her parents' memories so she could find them later instead of erasing herself from said memories. However, I won't say no to a few Hermione focused episodes if they want to show her brilliance in other ways.

I agree with you. I do not like Emma's portrayal of Hermione after the 2nd movie and especially the scripts that give her lines and scenes that belonged to Ron or other characters. My favourite Hermione scenes are; 1) - When she's petrified. She lies on the bed and does not move or say anything. To me that's perfect. 2) - When she makes the mistake with the hair in the Polyjuice potion and turns into a cat. I just love that they showed her as not being perfect. Think that was the last time Movie Hermione was shown to fail at anything. 3) - The "Even worse, expelled" scene 4) - When she tells Harry not to fly after Malfoy in PS but Harry does anyway and she says, "What an idiot!". Now that is the real Hermione!

I don’t know… I think Ron would’ve been perfectly OK with the confundis charm, lol And, I thought the ‘dance’, perfectly reflected what the two were thinking of… But, maybe it was too subtle 🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh, I loved Emma Watson in this role! I wasn’t sure that I would… But it is one of my favorite Disney films now… The casting decisions in this film, turned out so much better than I thought they would!

Boy, some of you guys are really focused on the differences between the books, and movies. I’m sure there’s enough material for them to do one just about those differences. This one was about Hermione Granger (in the movies), and Emma Watson’s portrayal…

I don't agree that Romoine are made for each other. I think JKR's original plan for a Fred/Hermione pairing would've been cool to see. Like an opposites attracting type deal.

To be honest she should had ended with Harry instead.

It's a shame Ron's character had to be ruined to give her some of these moments.

Unforgettable Hermione moments When Harry and Ron had that falling out and Ron tried to get Hermione to take his side to rejoin his family but she knew Harry needed the help with the burden of his mission. When Ron came back she sure told him off -Harry poster and the Deathly Hallows Help preparing Harry for the triwizard tournament and knew all along that he didn’t submit his name even though his best friend Ron didn’t even believe him in the first place -Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Please do top 20 unforgettable Neville Longbottom moments and also do a Top 20 unforgettable Ginny Weasley moments please
