The “you’re getting old” episode is one that should be on the list. The nostalgia and loss you feel from inevitable change is something South Park truly captures in its show’s development.

Well they mean wholesome or somber that’s was downright depressing

Kyle accepting Ike as his adoptive brother when Ike is scared to get his circumcision and when Kyle hugs Ike after he wants Kyle to make the dead celebrity ghosts go away is super sweet.

Ever since that Hawaii episode about Butters, thanks to him I saw Kenny in a different light. Sure the movie overwhelmingly established that long before that episode, but to me, that only shows what he was willing to do for his friends. Butters showed me what he's willing to do with just about anyone else.

This is definitely a case of a show, you don’t jump to conclusions on, because this show can have some wholesome moments

Despite Kyle's "screw you guys, I'm going home" I love that Michael of the Goth Kids stays friends with Stan

Tender, heartfelt moments like all those with Kenny's noble side and Butters' reassuringly optimistic view on life have helped elevate the show far beyond the likes of what are usually classed as its competitors like Family Guy or Bob's Burgers and solidify its place as one of the best animated shows of all time! While I'm glad Stan's very relatable speech at the end of the pandemic special made it in, I wish his reunion with his friends and family in the fixed future at the end of the Post COVID: Return of COVID special made it in too; it was actually quite heartwarming considering how much his life had turned out for the worse in the COVID future.

“Raisins” is my all time favorite episode. I was a goth/punk kid when that episode came out and the “beautiful sadness” monologue has been burned in my brain since.

That scene where Cartman revives Kyle was actually a parody of a scene from The Abyss 😂 loved that movie as a kid and I know it well

How the heck does nobody else remember that but the 4 of us!? That scene from the movie is one of my all time favorite movie scenes ever. The emotion that Ed Harris was able to produce was stunning. Plus it was horrible having to watch Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio drown, so to see her come back was beautiful.

South Park is a fun show with hilarious, bizarre and most of all wholesome moments.

For it's Tweek vs. Craig. Mr. Adler misses his dead wife because he never goodbye. When Kenny died,he saw his dead wife. He told her he didn't feel better when he said goodbye to her. She's said "Saying goodbye doesn't mean anything,It's the time you spend with them"

I think a really touching moment is when Cartman saved Kyle’s life by giving him CPR. The fact that Eric Cartman knows CPR is very sweet

I argree with you. That was probably my favorite moment of it. There is probably more I can add as well.

The one will always stick with me is the ending of the pandemic specials where Stan is now in the space force and when he comes home, he gives both is mom and Shelly a big hug. It's like he is just legit happy to see them. ❤

I like The List, where Stan is willing to put aside his animosity towards Wendy to ask her for help because Kyle is upset.

I can really relate to Stan’s Emotional Speech about the Covid Pandemic and all the Misery we went through while we were on Lockdown 😢

I think the speech principal Victoria gave Wendy gave about breast cancer was super touching and deserved a spot on this list

Touching moments in SP is special because of what we are normally use to in the characters/show. I'm always in awe and in teary.

Have been watch south park since 2001, and for me the most touching episode was the one featuring Britney Spears (season 12, episode 2), the reality shown was too harsh and it was so heart breaking to see her die!! :(.

I was 13-14 when the Raisins episode first aired and I was currently going through my first break up. That episode (along with Make Love, Not Warcraft) has been my favorite for just that reason. I related so much to Stan after this break up with Wendy, although I was more emo than goth, and to this day I can still recite Butters speech word by word.

Tbh, I’m surprised Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas from the Mr Hankey’s Christmas Classics didn’t even get an honorable mention. It’s actually a sweet rendition of the song and they even pay a small tribute to Mary Kay Bergman who passed away with a montage of her characters throughout the song.
