The beauty of Robin Williams' ad-lib about his wife farting was funny because it made Damon laugh. It was genius because he brought it right back to the script and the point the character was making about the charm of intimacy involving more than the good things we learn about our lovers. It would have been well worth the 10 or 20 seconds to keep the genius of that move.

It's a funny scene and all and it's funny that it made Damon break character. But this video was the "Top 20 scenes where actors couldn't keep a straight face". Counting them down from 20 to 1 implies that they are ranked in order by degree of funny. That scene was probably the least funny of all on the list.

Michael Myers was terrific in this, vastly underrated.
I’m laughing at the Robin Williams one and I can’t stop! 🤣😂
My Wife U To Fart When She Was Nervous Had Me Cracking Up Rest In Paradise Robin Williams We Miss Ur Laughter
It's scenes like the one from Good Will Hunting, that really drive home what we lost when Williams died.
When Jane Curtain was laughing at John Lithgow in 3rd Rock, it wasn’t from the noise of the leather pants which would have been added later as a sound effect, it was from his actions!

Those things do squeak. All they probably did was foley up louder noise.
So happy the scene from usual suspect was added. Cracks me up everytime

I was hoping someone would mention this one. They were all trying to stay in character, but Tommy was clearly losing it. Can't believe they missed this obvious one.

That and the episode when Martin got beat up by the boxer and Tisha Campbell's face trying to console him 😂😂😂😂 classic
There's another prized Jim Carrey moment where your can catch someone laughing from his actions. In Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. When at the Mental Institution following the Doctor down the hallway. He spots the door he needs to get into, so he does his crazy distraction. When he slams his head on the bench. You can catch the Doctor chuckle quickly before the camera cuts to the next scene.
That bagpipe scene and steve carrel scene is historically funny.but imagine the pain that carrel going through 😂😂😂
Paul Rudd is freakin hilarious! If you haven’t already seen it, I highly recommend watching the clip from Wanderlust of him in the bathroom talking to the mirror 😂😂😂
I don’t think he was trying to hide smiling after acting that hit mate had just slaughtered kids 😂

The action of Ewan McGregor putting his hand to his chin is something that sir Alec Guinness does several times in a new hope

@@stevepitt1414 I didn’t know that but there you go. If on set, he had to try and hide a smile at the admission of slaughter of children. I think the director would’ve said, mate you mind if you don’t crack a smile during this.

Yea, I never thought that scene was him breaking character. I always thought that it was him trying to go for shock and horror in a mediocre script with iffy writing. (I FUCKING LOVE THE PREQUELS, BYT THE WAY!!! But the scripts werent great....)
Jim Carey is a comedic genius! Every time I see that scene from the Cable Guy I die laughing! Too funny!
Dr. Strangelove - Peter Sellers arm is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Catching the whole scene is worth it.
Love all of this, especially with fast 6 spit-take LoL my all time favorite is Beverly hills cop scenes are hysterical
