At the first note of Gareth Coker's Ori soundtrack, I have tears in my eyes. Absolute masterpiece. The game and the music.

The Trine series, imo, can not be beat. I am absolutely in love with it. The art, environments, level design, and character skills all bring such joy. And then solving a particularly tricky "puzzle" or finding a really well hidden item makes me feel really good. Plus the music is gorgeous.

My sons and I have fell in love with Trine. It's all they talk about. We play games on the weekend, and Trine is a really big deal, haha. We beat Trine 4, and now are on 5. Castle Crashers is another good couch co-op.

The company that makes it just released another game that's all about the alien(s) from Castle Crashers, but it's only on X-Box. Nice to hear someone else enjoys Trine as much as I do. Did you find the secret room in Trine 4?

Yes, i loved Ori from first 5 seconds. Visuals plus music got me in 2015 with Blind Forest.

@@germanandres24 Ori and the Blind Forest is my 3rd favourite game ever and Hollow knight is my 6th. I played both. Only thing i didn't do in Hollow Knight was Absolute Radiance. Even if Hollow Knight has much more to do than Ori and even if Hollow Knights combats is way above Ori i love Ori more.

@@germanandres24 You are delusional if you say Ori controls are worse than Hollow Knight. Mobility and platforming in Ori is much more important, so controls are top. We cannot be friends.

A did hold my breath until the last game... and thankfully, you did choose wisley: Ori and Blind Forest AND Ori and the Will of the Wisps are the most beautiful games (not only platformer!), I have ever seen. And I played more than 10.000 games in nearly 40 years!

My heart is so happy to see SpiritFarer first thing on the list. I highly highly recommend this game if you want to experience something that will leave a mark in your heart forever.

I’m glad for RiME included in this list. Not only visually, but also musically and emotionally beautiful game.

These games are works of art. Some of these games are what I would show someone who’s never played a game to show how far the medium has come. They can tell beautiful, wonderful and sometimes sad stories they we can all relate to as human beings. For instance I’m at the end of of Spiritfarer and I’m not ready for it to end. I have a good idea of how it ends and I know it’ll break me down emotionally. These kinds of games are good for the soul.

I admit these are beautiful, but when one reaches a certain age, and has gain many experiences in life, he/she starts looking for games which are fun, and uplifting... Ori is a masterpiece, and yet I felt very lonely, and sad... so I stopped playing, and replayed Rayman, or DK...

It makes me so happy to see Raji: An ancient epic get recognition and mention because to make it the lead Dev had even took a loan against her house or sold it.. the situation wasn't very good. But the game came out as beautiful and a very sweet experience

Raji can now be played on mobile phones too if you have netflix.

Very good list, I played almost every title and can especially recommend HOB. That was the surprise of the year for me at the time. Not all titles are classic platformers, but each one is unique in its own way.

Some of these games, like Child Of Light are on PS3 as well. :) Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will o the Wisps are also utterly stunning games, from the music to the scenery.

I played Child Of Light on the Vita, also not mentioned

the whole time waiting to see where Ori ranked on this list. When i saw hollow knight, i knew ori couldn't be far away. absolutely stunning game visually, musically, and mildly traumatizing with the story.

Found a lot of new games from this! Thanks!

Из всех представленных игр я игал в Rime и Ori и скажу, что это просто потрясающие сказочные игры, способные погрузить своей отмасферой в свой мир и историю с увлекательным геймплеем.

@@vishmaster8543 Я играл в Ори на компе и не понимаю, как можно на клаве играть в неё. Очень неудобно ! Ещё и комп тупил, хотя видяха 730m и оперативки 16 гигов и i7. Для этой игры - выше крыши, а толку !(( Первые минут 5 норм, потом будто перегревался ноут. Жесть !

@@Dmitrii_88 да нормально - я привыкал к клаве и было ок. Играл в обе части, Думаю, что ваша видюха на ноуте имеет слабую производительность - от сюда и проблемы. К сожалению многие ноуты не подходят для современных игр, если они конечно не топовые и не игровые.

Haven't played a lot of games overall, but Ori.............. Ori will always hold a special place in my heart. Right from the beginning, it had me hooked on its breathtaking graphics and intriguing gameplay, and don't get me started on the story. Easily had me tearing up--- more than once. Beautiful, beautiful game and fantastic soundtrack. I actually found the soundtrack first and fell so in love with it I was determined to buy the game. I'm so glad it made this list--- although it's hardly surprising.

💨Ori and 🧙Trine series are my favorites! They are fantastic! There are other cool ones in these list like Hollow Knight, SteamWorld Dig 2... but it depends on everyone's tastes ❤.

Arise and Pathless are mouthbafflinly underrated and ignored, the others are somewhat popular thought i didnt knew about Greak. Going to add it to my wishlist at the very least and possibly i will give it a try.

Thank you. I knew and own some of them (mostly on ns). But many I've never heard of, will look for them on steam. Feel some simplified though beautiful ones would be perfect playing on the deck.

I'd say Ori is most likely the most beautiful video game ever created. Graphically, sure, you have impressive games like Red Dead Redemption and the likes, but art style wise, Ori is just orgasmic.

SteamWorld Dig 2 was such a surprise for me, what a good game

Ori will of the wisp is one of my favorite games of all time. It was confusing at 1st but once you get past the 1st area it's amazing

OMNO was a stunning little puzzle game.

Ori is the game that I will never forget in my lifetime. Metro last light is such another game which I wont forget ever.

Journey to salvage planet is such a great game. Didn’t finish the dlc but man did I love that title

подборкой доволен, сам большую часть платформеров прошел из списка, но в памяти еще по красоте и красочным пейзажам есть PLANET ALPHA, гляньте как то на досуге она шикарна)

@30 апм ну если похожее на Стим Ворлд Диг 2 то возможно 2 последних части Oddworld, если охота чего то драйвового и динамичного то 2 части Shank, если охота атмосферы то конечно Deadlight, любишь пиксели и метал то тебе в Valfaris, ну а если уж совсем олдовый игрок то из старых красивых платформеров в памяти Glare, 2013 года, удачного прохождения...

Omno - Hollow Knight - Unravel - Ori and the Will of the Wisps - Hob is the most beautiful game .. Recommendation !!!! A few games that are missing : Limbo , Seen , Bastion , Insıde , The Lıttele NightMares I/II , Toby The Secret Mine , Weakless ... Play for sure you will love it

I absolutely expected Forgotton Anne to be in the list. It really is one of the best platform games out there. It is also available for android phones.

You should have made a top 30 to add Hoa, indivisible, Owlboy, Iconoclast, Shovel Knight, The Messanger, Beard Blade, Guacamelee!, Inside, and Dust: An Elysian Tail

"Trine" games have one of the most beauuuutiful soundtracks I've ever heard, and this edit doesn't do it justice.

Hey guys, may i ask for your best pc games based on your experience playing it? I have a gaming laptop but i wasn't able to add extra SSD storage. I only have 512gb and whenever i finish a game, i uninstall it and install another one lol. It's a bit hectic tbh.
