I can't believe Tsunade from "Naruto" didn't make it to the list. I mean, that woman is a force of nature! Not only she looks amazing for her age, but she can also go further and beyond to protect the ones she cares about. Have you forgotten how she protected every single living Leaf villager from Pain's Almighty Push? Or when she fought Madara's clones without even minding the chakra blades stabbed on her? Not to mention she is one of the few that was able to control Naruto to some degree. And do you all remember when she confronted the elders during Pain's attack?

I never saw Tsynade as BadAss though, she was tough as hell, but Idk about badass. Everyone in Naruto had amazing feats when the plot called for it, but I'd say Chiyo the old puppet master lady was more badass than Tsunade.

@@mrbarefootbogan6254 Mikasa has never “kicked Annie’s ass” the first time they spared against each other there was never mention of a clear winner, the 2nd time was in the forest where Annie was not even trying to fight back since she had Eren in her mouth and even then Levi had to save Mikasa for a fatal blow that would have killed her. And finally 3rd time they fought Annie demolished Mikasa. Mikasa only got the upper hand in the end when she cut off Annie’s fingers when climbing the wall was due to the fact that Annie was wounded by Eren’s Titan form and couldn’t defend herself afterwards

Maybe I'm the Only One but i really love Kikyo from Inuyasha; she was so different from other Rumiko characters that they tend to repeat themselves a little. She was strong, independent, vindictive, sweet, a tragic figure, archery. Yes, I'm slightly obsessed. 😂

Another is Allenby Beardsley from Mobile Fighter G Gundam. She became an Ensign of her country's space force at a young age (even though she had no choice since she was raised in military faculties due to being orphaned at a young age) plus she is on par with Domon Kasshu when it comes to fighting abilities. Also she was the only one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Devil (Dark) Gundam to survive since "Master Asia", Chapman and Chariot died.

I was worried that she wasn't going to be, because any Fate fan can make a strong argument for the feats of strength that Saber accomplishes combined with UFO tables flashy animation and displays of her fighting prowess. I was actually surprised that Saber wasn't on the list, but probably would have been if they weren't limiting it to one character per franchise.

I was literally typing up Motoko Kusanagi when she came on XD

Revy, Mokoto Kusanagi, Faye Valentines, Touka Kirishima, Oliver Mira Armstrong and Erza Scarlet are my top badass ladies in Anime in my book. While some are also good, but Mikasa isn't in it for a couple of reasons. Sure she is a badass fighter, but it's her drive or why she wants to fight is what annoys me. She will turn into a Yandere and wont show any mercy to anyone when they come in between her and Eren or Armin, even if they are friends and allies or not.

I would agree with the majority of the list (Mikasa should be closer to the top) But I would argue team RWBY (Ruby Rose Weiss Schnee , Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long) at least deserve an honorable mention just my 2 cents :) Edit: The Major should be first 100% agree

There's multitude of fanart and probably fan fiction of what might happen if the two were to meet. It generally doesn't work out for Revy when Motoko starts using different tactics and strategy. Even in close quarters, Motoko has the strength advantage.

For a country that basically requires women to have their husbands' last name after marriage They sure do love strong female characters Look at all Miyazaki films, girls in it aren't demsels that need to be saved, or need any romances They're independent, stong, self-sufficient

Wow going through the entire list of 20 people and their shows they are from, I haven't watched a single one of these shows except for Ghost in the Shell which has Motoko Kusanagi. Of the episodes of this I saw she was pretty awesome and I also have seen the movie with Scarlett Johansson

There no way that Alice is more badass then Asuna. Just for the simplest fact that Alice is basically just using the Underworld Cardinal system to make her attack look more devestating. Even Kirito, Asuna, Sinon and Leafa were using the exact same thing where there attacks and abilities are so overpowered. If Alice were to just transfer to another world say either Alfhelm or GGO her sword skills and abilities would not be the same as the Underworlds. Asuna would have the clear advantage over Alice because Asuna herself can run super fast because of her rapier sword and she's already inherited Yuuki's Mother's Rosario sword skill, plus not to mention Asuna can utilize magic abilites in Alfhelm. And Asuna herself in the Underworld she can literally create fissures and stuff.

If you want the worst girl in SAO, take a look at Silica. But I wouldn’t really classify her as worst (more like least useful) because she’s not terrible imo but not as cool as Asuna or Alice. Also I think Asuna and Alice are both VERY powerful and strong.

Silica has about as much screen time as TenTen so it's pretty hard to know anything about her personality and when have we ever seen her actually fight? #3. Asuna is the whole reason the game wasnt completed which was the main goal of the first season #4. Sinon is best waifu(this is irrelevant) #5. Why wouldn't she care about her boyfriend? pretty weak point my guy #6. She was pretty badass, then she and Kirito got together and her badassery flew off a cliff

Now sure, she was literally reduced to a damsel in distress during Alfheim (which I admittedly didn’t like) but that’s not really her fault. Sure Asuna relies on Kirito more now but she can still hold her own. And yes while Yuuki IS dead now during the time Yuuki was alive, Asuna showed that she really cares about her. It’s not just Kirito (because yeah like you said of course she would care about him). She would fight for the greater good. I know a lot of people seem to dislike the romance part because it somehow takes away Asuna’s fighting ability. It does not. I think it gives her more of a reason to fight and be strong. Her love for Kirito motivated her to overcome difficulties. I mean just take a look at what she pressure she had to deal with from her family. Strength does not always equal how many monsters you kill or how good you are with a sword. Strength can also equal the motivation to fight for the ones you love, for your own justice, and how much resolve you have in yourself. And imo, Asuna has all of that. Her strength never went downhill just because she entered a romance. People say the romance is cliché (which I can sorta see) but imo, the popular opinion that getting into a romance makes you weak is also cliché. Asuna never really relied on Kirito way too much (except in Alfheim). Just take a look at her fight during Alicization. Yes in the end, Kirito was the one who finished off Subtilizer and PoH but she played a major role in fighting and regaining Kirito’s resolve. If you still think my argument is weak, that’s fine. It’s just your opinion after all and I want nothing more than to respect it. But that’s just my stance and my way of viewing Asuna and in my opinion, her strength can equal that of Alice’s.

Mikasa should be in the top 5, and Alice needs to be swapped with Asuna (she made it through SAO, AOL, and Underworld). Touka also needs to be in the top 5. Android 18s position I can live with, but het character gets much more appreciation in Super.

YEAH! MOTOKO AT NUMBER 1! I was worried where she would fall into this list. That last clip in the video is of her using only her right hand to unload an entire clip of a .50 cal anti-tank sniper fitted with high-velocity rounds at point blank into the cockpit hatch of the armed suit that tried to stomp her head in. She allowed Gayle to live just to regret ever trying to kill her.
