I’ve only been to 3 of the islands, and they are all beautiful, but I keep going back to Oahu. It just feels so comfortable to me. You can go from city to country very fast, and it’s all so lovely in between. The air just feels so good in Hawaii, you are #lucky to live in paradise!

Thanks for all of your videos, they are super helpful!! I love all of the islands but I think for living I would prefer Oahu due to the job opportunities, access to health care and variety of things to do.

Aloha..tuning in from Hampton Roads Virginia. Reason 1: competing in milti-day, multi island endurance race in 2025 and want to learn more about the area, Reason 2: Retired empty nesters looking to slow down and live. Currently looking at either O'ahu or even the Big Island.

I'm watching from Antigua, and the same issues we have with high real estate pricing is appearing in places like Hawaii and other Caribbean islands as well. It just seems to me that there is a coordinated real estate effort to convert the Islands into prime property locations, pushing the pricing up and pricing the locals out. Some of the prices you have called out are absolutely ridiculous and astonishing. They're unreal. At the same time, in Las Vegas, if you are a resident and present your State Resident ID, you get most things geared towards tourists at half price, including hotels and what not. In like manner, the people who live, have always lived in the Hawaii Islands should not ever have to hear the prices you're quoting as easy as Sunday morning. That's just wrong. And if you're building in Hawaii, make sure you get a blue roof. They're the only houses in Maui that wasn't burned down by the lasers.

Great information. Love all the islands. They all have their own flavor. Oahu has all the amenities. As for the Hawai'ian language, although I'm a mainlander, our Kumu at our Halau really emphasized correct pronunciation. Wish I could move there. Lot's of family in Kaneohe.
