We have a few albums in common in our top death metal favorites. Symbolic is probably my second favorite dm album. Mercenary is also my favorite Bolt Thrower... I thought I was the only weirdo lol. I just found out about Solstice recently and literally recorded a yt shorts vid on the self titled earlier today, that I'll put out soon. I have no idea how I missed that band, but holy shit Solstice is already quickly becoming a favorite. Great list and keep up the good work!

You're Megadeth guy so I'm not surprised Symbolic was your first choice haha Good to see Asphyx on the list, such a consistent band and they're still crushing. Their latest album is how modern death metal should sound like. As of Morbid Angel, I'd go with Domination which I believe is their most underrated album.

I'm too indecisive to have a KZread channel with videos like this haha. I will say for me Autopsy Severed Survival, Obituary first two as well as Frozen in Time, Death's entire catalog obviously, a few Cannibal Corpse albums, Dismember Like an Everflowing Stream, Inhuman Condition Rat God, Pestilence first 3 albums all should be mentioned. As far as what I listen to the most? Severed Survival, Slowly we Rot, and Human. Also I saw Obituary last year and they killed it and I'm planning on seeing them in December with Carcass. Cannibal Corpse is also coming around in December so I look forward to that🤘

Great list! One of my favorites is the album Scrolls of the Megilloth by Mortification. Absolutely flawless album, really underrated imo.

Awesome list Bryce, a lot of bands for me to listen to that I haven't heard here which is always good. One of the best Death Metal albums of all time for me is Death Shall Rise by Cancer. The subject matter is as brutal as the music itself! Really pleased to see Bolt Thrower on the list, I feel they deserved more credit than they got - Love Cenotaph...

Great list, Us and Finnish DM are my favorites but love them all.

Couldn’t disagree more with the Mercenary pick (Realm of Chaos all the way for me) but really cool you have a lot of diverse and unique picks for these big bands. Respect it! Cool list, thanks man.

Would you consider doing a metal genre ranking, maybe even for stream or something on tierlistmaker where you rank all of them, just an idea Either way once again killer picks as usual, keep up the great content

Another KZread Channel posted a Death Metal challenge to listen to a different DM album throughout August. Wasn't really one of my top genres. But surprised how much I enjoy. Certainly not experienced enough to give a top 20 Album list, but bands like Death, Soilwork, Dark Tranquility, Massacre have been getting plenty of play. I had to buy the new album by THE HALO EFFECT. An excellent release.

Nice list! What do you think about Revocation? My fav album by them is 'Deathless', one of the best modern metal bands!

Haven’t watched the video yet but I liked it love you man hope the support helps you out

Great list, very hard to do as a big Death Metal fan. Some of my faves would be (no order): Morbid Angel - Altars…; Autopsy - Severed Survival; Pestilence - Consuming Imp.; Nocturnus - The Key; Death - Leprosy; Possessed - Seven Churches; & Necrophagia - Holocausto de la Morte. The list can go on ofc. I’m from Germany, & I want to highlight some great German Death Metal, so here we go: Necros Christos- Doom of the Occult; Chapel of Disease - And as we have seen….; Venenum - Trance of Death; & any album by Sulphur Aeon. Anyone who reads this, please let me know guys if you have heard these albums, & if yes what you think of em. Thanks & cheers

Phantasm is a underappreciated classic, not a bad list of albums

Sinister-Hate is an underrated masterpiece!!
