I have a pet chicken that's 10 years old and she likes coming inside the house so much that she waits outside the door or flies on the window sill for me to bring her in so she sleeps in my room on a towel,she also prefers being around me and my family inside the house rather than being outside with the rest of my animals which she will peck if they go near her and I absolutely love her and she has never pecked me or any other people❤️🐓

#20, best advice of them all. Practice practice. People say to me (when I play the piano) how "talented" I am. Nope, not talent. Just as you are not a talented artist. You are a practiced and dedicated woman who chose to spend her time becoming great at something you chose. I only bought a piano 4 years ago and started playing by ear.. I cannot read sheet music, I only watch people playing on youtube while sitting at my piano for hours upon hours playing until I get it right.. there is no talent in that.. only practice and dedication. I wanted to be able to play and now I can.. I was hoping you'd mention practice- because therein lies how you become great, is really putting forth effort.
@LisaTigressHardy
7 жыл бұрын
Wow! I have a friend from church who learned to play piano by listening to others play. She can read sheet music but prefers to learn by listening. I thought she as the only one who learned by listening. she plays beautifully too.

Agreed on practice but not on no talent. The thing which made you choose piano, the thing which made you sit hours without getting board, the thing which helped you pickup music without learning sheet IS CALLED Talent. Talent is God given but it needs practice too.
I love the transitions between each tip lololol

Her paintings literally look like photos, not even exaggerating! They’re absolutely _Amazing!_
I just bought a piece of MDF board today and started painting on it already, I'm typically a very tight painter, so it's great how smooth the paint goes on and how nice it is to add small details! And it was a 2x4 ft piece that I got for $7 and got it cut down into 18 great pieces!

Art should never be put into square box, your reassurance to many artists is a vital factor for their success. I didnt paint for years only because i thought I was doing it wrong, not the "right" way. And only now I can say that this mind limitation is over and this amazing thing you do about sharing important points with others is truly important! Love your work! :)
You're an amazing artist and these tips have been more helpful than years of art classes combined! Teachers always tell you to draw but don't always offer tips and tricks, just how to use materials!

As someone who has owned many chickens, I can say they are absolutely lovely to have around when you've earned their trust.
The problem with using hairspray (for drawings anyway, not sure for paintings) is that your art will yellow over time. Just use fixative, it ain't that expensive.

Robin Clonts no problem! your truly amazing at painting
awwwwwww lil baby chicken ;A; and that natural lightbulb tip is seriously the greatest thing. i suffered with gross yellow light for a couple of years before i was like 'why am i torturing myself' and i went on a hunt. i told my family because i was asking them if they knew what exactly the bulbs are called (LED daylight bulbs) and my bro ended up finding them for me and getting them for me! it's FANTASTIC! i have a two bulb tall lamp in my room, and the movable head i put the bulb in and the other stationary one is the yellow one. i keep both so i don't kill the natural ones so quickly and the yellow is good for just general use and not feeling so awake with the natural light one haha.
I had fun watching you! Great energy and I WILL use your hints and tips! They are very useful for any kind of painter! Thank you!
You're so affirming and fun! The last tip made me think of painting around the clock. Like the song. 'Paint, paint, paint around the clock, gonna paint, gonna paint around the clock tonight!'

LOL, Terrific. I like having separate sections, but any smooth non-porous will do. Have to ask, what type of cereal? Last request. I was trying to do a project painting on rocks with acrylic but it came out too thick and unnatural. Any suggestions or tutorials? Thanks Always
@RobinSealark
7 жыл бұрын
XD honey bunches of oats- i don't eat cereal normally, but I borrowed from family I was staying with. Im surprised it came out thick. I wonder if the paint itself was getting old or dried out. It'd be fun to do a 'painting on non-traditional surfaces video'

I think it might be me. My traditional medium has been pencils, markers or chalk. I love chalk cause it's like pastels only So Cheap. Thank you so much for this video, especially for the comment on tracing. I've heard it before, but for some reason the way you explained it finally cemented it in my head that tracing isn't cheating. I painted my first successful (well, I think so anyway) portrait yesterday, and I traced her from a reference picture. I'm so proud of how she turned out. Eventually I hope to get to where I can draw people, but for now I'm happy to trace and learn the lines I need to draw. Anyway, sorry to ramble! Just wanted to say thanks and that your videos are a lot of fun and really helpful. 🙂
