I can tell u one thing after watching hereditary, I never take my neck out of moving car, that scene still haunt me till this day
I just saw Everything Everywhere last night and man I can’t stop thinking about it. I’ve never seen something like it. I loved it. It may dethrone The Lighthouse as my favorite A24 film.

Such a fun video, I’m not as familiar with A24 as I’d NOW like to be… but from this list The Lighthouse and Hereditary were amazing but now I know there’s so much more to checkout! Awesome stuff.
I was waiting for this! YESSSSS!
Definitely need to see more A24 films, but love your list! Top 5 for me are Hereditary, Uncut Gems, The Lighthouse, Killing of a Sacred Deer, and Lady Bird.
It's insane how many great movies A24 has made!!! My top five are ex machina, the witch, hereditary, ladybird, and tie for midsommar/the lighthouse
Amazing list! Everything everywhere all at once is one of my all time favourite movies now, I can’t get over how good that movie was
Hereditary 🥇, Ex Machina 🥈, The Witch 🥉 Lighthouse (Bonus).
I love that you did this list!

Nice video austin
great list. i haven't seen as many a24s as you, not even close. i'd put ex machina as #1 from those i have seen. sci fi i really love. i did see your #1 and #2 and kind of figured they would be that high on your list ... but the endings of both, i fall into the camps that it literally wrecked both entire movies for me. i see what you are saying on uncut gems, how it ended, it was kind of i think you are saying that was what was inevitably going to happen. and i guess i didn't really enjoy having an anxiety attack watching the movie either lol. maybe i'll make my own list on letterbxd of the ones i have watched, maybe i am forgetting something higher then ex machina.
I haven’t finished the video as I’m leaving the comment, but Uncut Gems, and The Lighthouse have got to be in the top 10. ALSO, I have no idea how you have The Witch in Honorable mentions, that breaks my heart 😂 and Mid90’s?? Cmon Austin!
Safdies, Lanthimos, Baker, Hogg, and Eggers king, all I gotta say. Great list, mostly good studio with a buncha films that feel hard to lump together.
Out of the 116 that I've seen, here's my top 20: 1. A Ghost Story 2. The Florida Project 3. The Lighthouse 4. Everything Everywhere All At Once 5. C'mon C'mon 6. Swiss Army Man 7. The Last Black Man in San Francisco 8. Red Rocket 9. Good Time 10. First Cow 11. After Yang 12. American Honey 13. Room 14. The Rover 15. First Reformed 16. Under The Skin 17. Uncut Gems 18. The Lobster 19. The Souvenir Part II 20. Moonlight
Definitely need to see more A24 films, but love your list! Top 5 for me are Everything Everywhere All At Once, Moonlight, Eighth Grade, Uncut Gems & The Souvenir: Part II. Will you be seeing K. G. F.: Chapter 2 next week Austin? Also pls do a top 10 ranking of Ajith kumar’s filmography

I can’t wait for Everything Everywhere all at once but I’ll have to wait for the end of may before it comes out here in Sweden… anyways my top 10: 10. Midsommar 9. Minari 8. Lady Bird 7. The Witch 6. Hereditary 5. Moonlight 4. Eighth Grade 3. Ex Machina 2. The Lighthouse 1. A Ghost Story (Movies barely ever make me cry but this film absolutely crushed me… existential dread the movie) Honourable mentions: The Disaster Artist, The Lobster, It Comes at Night, Uncut Gems and Room

I have not seen many A24 films, but my favourites are Uncut Gems and The Green Knight.

Uncut Gems, The Lighthouse, Waves, Good Time and Probably Climax/spring breakers or under the skin
Under the Skin is my favourite film of all time, so of course it's my favourite A24 film.
I'm just curious to see what the next list would be like for top NEON movies.
My Top 10: 1. Good Time 2. A Ghost Story 3. Uncut Gems 4. Ex Machina 5. Moonlight 6. Lady Bird 7. Killing of a Sacred Deer 8. First Reformed 9. The Lobster 10. Waves
my favourites: 1. Everything everywhere all at once 2. The lighthouse 3. First reformed 4. Climax 5. The killing of a sacred deer 6. Good time 7. The farewell 8. Hereditary 9. Green room 10. Ex machina Damn dude all are great modern classics, A24 is godtier cinema
My favorite list
I wouldn't know where to rank them but Good Time, Midsommar, Waves, Enemy and Lady Bird are among my favorites. And even though I loved Good Time I didn't like Uncut Gems at all. And I don't understand why people say that it's anxiety inducing. I still haven't seen The Green Knight or C'mon C'mon. I'm going to the theater tonight to view Everything Everywhere All At Once. I've lived in Florida my entire life so I've seen those buildings in The Florida Project. Waves is primarily filmed in Broward County. The hospital that I used to work at can be seen in the film.
yes
American Honey is one of my favorite A24 films. Not sure if you've ever seen or even heard of it, but you should if you get the chance. It's REALLY good
Free Fire is possibly the most underrated A24 movie. Not saying that it's the best, but it is probably the most fun movie from A24, and I always have a blast watching it. It's a very simple premise of two gangs in the 70s meeting up in a warehouse to buy and sell guns. There's a disagreement, and the majority of the movie becomes a wild shoot-out. Stacked with amazingly entertaining performances from Sharlto Copley, Armie Hammer, Cillian Murphy, Brie Larson, Jack Reynor, and so many more. The movie can drag on a bit too long, but I still have so much fun with it. It's amazing watching the practical stunts they do in the movie. One guy gets his face run over by a van, and Sharlto Copley literally gets set on fire. It's awesome!
Fuckin love you Austin, keep up the good work

I’ve only really seen everything everywhere all at once, which was my second favorite movie of 2022 (my first was rrr). Need to watch more of them.
A24 is the best studio to looking for, and the only one that bring us diverse and original movies steadily. Haven't seen all of their movies, but had not disappointed me at the moment.

I highly recommend looking at other film distributors such as NEON (specializes in international films, indies, and documentaries) & Gkids (specializes in animation) are two big stand outs for me. I actually prefer NEON over A24 personally 🤷🏻♂️ … Also various physical release media labels like the Criterion Collection are a great place to go to for amazing film recommendations.

Everything Everywhere All At Once is by far my favorite, but I really loved Uncut Gems, The Florida Project, Pearl and Bodies Bodies Bodies
The Rover is where I realized the potential of Robert Pattinson. Another A24 movie that doesn't get discussed much. I think it's because it came out in the early days of A24 back in 2014
I love the movie waves
I've not seen every A24 film (and Everything Everywhere All At Once has not released in the UK), so for the one's I've seen: 1) Ex Machina (10/10 - easily one of the best sci-fi films of all-time, and in my top 10 favourite Hollywood films of all-time) 2) Eighth Grade (8/10 - while I am not an American and have had my schooling in India and Nigeria, I found it to be a really good look at a particular point in life of a kid) 3) The Farewell (8/10 - really good film with really good performances, that while I don't relate to it, I did care/feel for the characters) 4) Lady Bird (6/10 - thought it was good, but did not connect with it on a personal level, nor did I care for anyone) 5) Enemy (5/10 - did not like it a whole lot, as it is not a style of film I like)

Under the Silver Lake is SO good! It's probably in my top 5 for A24.
Hereditary has been my favorite A24 movie too but Everything Everywhere All At Once was phenomenal that it may be my new favorite A24 movie and maybe all-time. Recency bias? Maybe.
