Outstanding compilation
My Mom had a Gogo mobiel where 4of us could ride in. It was a cute little car, my Dad bought for her in the 1960's.
Great video! 😍
8:32 That's the Steve Urkel car. Remember... from Family Matters TV Show.
#2 instantly made me think, “We all live in a Yellow Submarine!”

Animated, with the Beatles doing their own voice work. Been a long time, but I thought it was good.
They´re sooo cute
I like the Uniti one but because of the size (as all the cars), I would be afraid that it would get stolen.
8:23 shown "Bubble car" was featured in the grand tour, season 3, driven by Richard Hammond! but the car, at the end of that episode, was thrown down, from the mountain cliff, Clarkson mentioning that Hammond was still in it:)
At 14:45 is the city I come from! Malmö in Sweden! Awesome to see that and hear about the car too, its from the neighbor city of Malmö, Lund that car is built. But I have never seen it before.
Wow that Undaunted is a bus, huge!
Wow Those are cool
Top five :Cars that double as coffins...
I hope this could be a sustainable mode of mobility to save those who are financially in plight.

So they can be gravely injured?
The Commuter Cars at the 7:39 mark shows two cars side by side on a city street and freeway. The location of both is Browne St between 2nd and 3rd Ave and I-90 in Spokane Washington.
Hello. I drove an Isetta , first on a 100 km trip to bring it in our small week-end farm where I spent week-ends with friends. Once there, we modified it to run all-terrain in the country around. We removed the front door to be open air, had to remove the front brake system that we destroyed soon in bad sents. But ithe Isetta went any place because the rear wheels where much nearer and did not fall in other cars tracks. An they were engine driven, with the engine weight on them.... And if blocked anyway, we went down, pushed it on its side, turned it and started 90° ! It was very solid, BMW-construction... I regret that liberty time...
He didn't "invent" this vehicle. He designed and built it. Invention would mean that he came up with some entirely new principle, which he could potentially have incorporated in his design. Perhaps anti-gravity instead of wheels, or an engine fuelled exclusively by pure water, etcetera.
I wonder if the uniti 1 costs as much as that tango, but those were my favorites.
These cars look like kids car toys! So small but cute. Interesting......
Nice vidéo
Very nice !
Earlier this week I decided to see what the best mileage was I could get on my 2018 Honda Accord EX-L, 2.0, turbocharged, high performance car. I filled up on gas and immediately drove onto the interstate in Ohio. I put the car on cruise control and pushed the ECON button. I drove a little more than 60 miles and returned to the same spot. I drove the speed limit with no big hills and no adverse driving conditions. The speedometer read an average of more than 51 mpg. It was done quietly, in comfort, style and with enjoyment. No doubt I get a lot less than that while driving stop and go but really not that bad. On the road I get a range of more than 450 miles plus. I can see a role for the smaller electric vehicle but not for me in my situation. They seem to be very dangerous. I'll drive a regular Honda as long as I can and then I'll switch to an electric Honda in the future. I am willing to bet the Honda of the future will be far more reliable than the Tesla.

My 1972 902cc fiat 850 spider, on a trip from puget sound 🔉 to georgia 🇬🇪 which by going from WA to Fresno, then to bakersfield then across on I40 came out to 5005 miles. I bought only 100gallons of fuel ⛽!! 55+ mpg
🙂7:38 I right away knew it's my hometown (downtown Spokane WA) P.S. That's a Providence hospital in the background.
Very Good!...
By the time lithium batteries were installed, the Corbin Sparrow had been sold the Dana Myers and was renamed the NMG (No More Gas) l drove one and it was seriously cool.
I’d love to own a Issetta car, or a meschersmit type one, there’s a newer version that looks very similar to the original, great fun..

You would rethink that if you had a collision. Door on the front, jammed shut.

@@fredrutledge3628 You don't even need an accident, no reverse gear, so don't park it facing a wall.

sparrow is an electric clone of the 1970's Freeway Express which I believe used an 11HP Tecumseh
I would have enjoyed this much better if you had listed where we could look up each model you talked about.
Elétrica cars já!...👍😁

4. Buddy from Norway. This vehicle was designed by Dane Knud Vestergard who owned KEW A/S high-pressure cleaners.Their were two versions. one being driven by an electric motor and one by combustion engine. Its original name was Kewet and was launched in Hadsund Denmark and was not very successful and production was stop and the concept sold to a Norwegian company.

I wish someone would mack a cost effective shell that could be mounted on my 2013 Can-Am-Spyder ST so it could be ridden in the cooler temps and if when you got caught out in the rain. The shell would need to where there would be some type of air flow for in the warmer weather. It would make it nicer on long road trips. I can dream of these types of things BUT I have no idea how to start or finish making one. If I did know how and had the means to make me one I'd have one on my bike already. I'm physically disabled because someone pulled right out in front of my bike on a county road 8 years ago. I'm blessed to be able to ride what little I can.... PTL!!!!!

Now you're thinking like me.....I can't believe no car or motorcycle company has mass produced a 3 wheel, fun but practical fuel efficient commuter vehicle. Similar to the Elio, but I'd make it less plain Jane looking and more durable- I'd be made to resemble a 3 wheel rugged SUV or Jeep with a lightweight, aerodynamic removable hard weather enclosure ....Adjustable suspension, 1 setting for smooth road ride, 1 setting for stiff sport performance ride which also improves MPGs and 1 setting for mild off road (dirt/gravel rough country roads) make it a hybrid by using a FWD ,fuel efficient motorcycle engine with over drive transmission up front and an electric rear wheel. Since using only 1 electric rear wheel & motor,a smaller lighter less expensive battery pack could be used, which would also mean faster charging time. For off road, rain & snow traction you put it in 3wd, for efficient in town lower speed travel, you use the electric rear wheel only. Can be drove rear wheel electric only up to say 45 mph for in town and when battery gets low you can use FWD gas engine only. For quick accelerations you would use 3wd,(electric boost from rear wheel) Once up to HWY speeds the rear electric wheel shuts off and it uses the FWD overdrive gear. The outer shell would have places on each side to mount exterior aerodynamic saddle bags/storage cases for road trips and it'd have a small trunk like the Elio also be a tandem narrow 2 seated. You could make 2 models, a plain jane Elio type with automatic transmission and the rugged 3 wheel suv model with a 6 speed stick shift transmission. They'd have an economy low power mode and a sport more power mode.
10:08. There are some incorrect information here. Kewet was developed in the early 90s. The last modell was called Buddy. The problem was not the range, but lack of fast charging. Mitsubishi I-MiEV had around the same range, but had better safety, one more seat, higher speed an DC fast charging. When Mitsubishi dropped down prices to about the same, there was no point buying a Buddy. The company is still around, but specialising in service and reselling EVs.
No Heinkel? A trike that loaded thru the front

100 grand for one quarter of a car? I'm actually offended by that.

You forgot at least one: The Messerschmitt K 200

Yep the KR200 was my favourite as a 12 year old in ‘56. My father would mutter under his breath at the mere mention of the name, though the name VW didn’t produce the same reaction. I think it was the airplane style cockpit with the bubble canopy that did it for me. Plus they were the only one that could better 50mph, the Isetta based bubble cars maxed out at about 45. Got a lift to work for a few months with a guy who had an Isetta. Scared me silly.
no one wonders how the other cars have space to get out? 10:44

😂🤣😂 I’m guessing the thing would be very easy to drive over especially if you had a 4x4. To park like that you’d have to be an inconsiderate arsehole and you deserve any shit you get.
Why do they insist on making every 1 or 2 seated fuel efficient commuter look as dorky as possible?
Hi
Now Unity is the Electric Car Of The Future I Would Love To Drive That To Work

He makes that mistake time and time again, and not just in this video
I want something small and electric, but they are all too damn expensive.
they always forget the king midget modle3 made in Athens Ohio 1958 to 1969i own one
We have a 1980 ERAD capucine which is more interesting than any of your examples. Two seats a boot for shopping FWD 50cc Motobecane 99Z engine with compressor piston. 45kmph plus goes anywhere, parks anywhere, goes forever on a gallon of petrol mix. unpainted body made with fiberglas gell coat, mine is green, available in red or blue. steel chassis mono body. dimensions 1.4m wide, 1.6m long, 1.6m high.
there is no way it passed the passenger side collision tests
Unitu 1 is the only one thats good eniough

Very interesting ! But can you also use the metric system?
Top gear had created a car smaller than the peal p50 called p45
Did you forget the Danish build "ellert"?
Buddy is good
Funny... 😎
At 14:53 ...I want one!!!!!!!!!
SO SMOL
At 18:11 ...It's classified as a "quadricycle"??? But it only has three wheels..."Quad" means four...
14:44 How can you have a RANGE of "150 miles an hour"? That makes no sense.

Agree... he repeat the same mistake several time in another video... kind of funny though...
The Beatles should have all been put in a submarine with the hatch welded shut and then the sub sunken to the bottom of the Marianas Trench.
@3:45 that’s not a proper motorcycle, it’s got stabiliser wheels. @5:11 “it has a range of up to 40 mph”? @14:46 “top range of 150 mph”?
Isetta is an old Fiat design
12.31/ what planet are we on 4000miles from the Canary Islands to Florida?? "via"!

Diy car is awesome looking kids would love it when I was a kid I hade dreems of owning a power wheel after a alien movie I saw I wanted power wheel in worst way before my nabor got one and realized they suck now I wouldn't be soprized if power wheel wasent worth buying unlike back in day they where so under speed and had shitty batteries
I disagree. I think the Isetta is very stylish.
There have been a ship load of little electrical cars. They all have one thing in common. They are all failures. You would think “inventors” would learn.
What do you mean smallest helicopter what about the paramoter
cup holder air bag extra
AND THEY ALL COST TO DAMME MUCH
Daihatsu Midget
Yeah, that three wheeler. There's no way it has a 20 kilowatt motor. That's 20,000 Watts. I have a bicycle with a 750 watt motor, and it does 28 miles an hour. 20000 kilowatts to pull a full size car down the road with ease. Now, to kilowatt, or 2000 Watt, that I can understand. But 20kw was definitely a typo. Yeah that's something like 300 horsepower on a three-wheel bicycle. It would be fun nevertheless.
@q.e.d.9112

20 kW is about 28 hp, not 300.
Wait, what???? No Smart car???????

Print and create all these toys and caemr toys in Bucharest krooney ok?
Alot of thease cars are great and if mas perduced and more affordable people would buy them and they would take off like isetta people bought them I'd so buy a few of these cars if I could afford them all the good ones are way over $20,000 that is for welthy only when i can buy used vw for under $5,000 for the price of micro cars it's not worth a car you can't drive every day
Bugatti?
Electric-powered vehicles do not have ENGINES--they have motors
Mph is not a range measurement
looks like an child sized car for adults.
quit at clooney...
Small vehicle, A/C, works great, good gas mileage,...it's a motorcycle.
Is this the same guy from simple history?
Bring back the Peel 50 please
Such a shame about the Uniti1. If this vehicle could be mass produced cheaply or used in car share schemes, it could revolutionise transport. With it's high top speed, it could be driven on busy trunk roads, motorways/highways etc. If I were Elon musk, I would be heavily investing in making a car like this at cheap cost. With the Giga press, you could probably make cars this size very quickly and easily. It's lightweight enough to give a good range with a small battery too. Removable batteries which could be wheeled into homes would be a big selling point for urban living too. The regulations mean that it's difficult to build microcars with speed, safety and power. The massive irony is that you can literally buy a metal horse that will travel 200mph and legally drive it on the road. There is a hypocrisy here. At least you can put airbags in microcars. They're probably safer than motorbikes.
