I'm gonna say the R1 Polo, just cos it's still front engined front drive, so it does what it always did, but much, much faster! Schwaiger's Biturbo 911 is a very close second.

I really like the fiat 500 v8 it sounds amazing and looks menacing! But I have to stick with my 5 cylinder roots and say s2 R Quattro 🤘🔥

I was clapping like a baby almost throughout the whole video...until that Audi came along and I just kept staring in awe while my ears were enchanted to that engine's music... How grateful I am for your channel guys! Thank you!

Just a suggestion: change "transmission" to "drivetrain" in the info box when describing FWD, RWD, AWD, etc. layouts and add another line for "transmission" if there's info about the car's 5-speed H-pattern, 6-speed sequential, etc. gearbox. Thanks!

Thank you HillClimb Monsters for the great video. It's crazy to see some of those low horsepower front wheel drive cars being faster than all wheel drive cars with more than double the horsepower and aero. I'm happy the Subaru was the fastest.

That polo, delta lancia and the orange corrado were my favorites. Used to drive a Corrado vr6 myself. Such cool cars. Too bad there were no scirocco's participating this time.

that first VW polo is like my dream car build. but i want mine to have a k20/24 in the back or a F20 in the front and you know what that motorcycle engine he can keep WOT longer and have more fun then the rest of them i bet... edit ok i lied hah @ - VW Polo Mk2 16V is the VW polo i like the most hah

K20/K24 is definitely one of the top of the top in naturally aspirated engines category. You want something light and mid engine? - try MR2 3 gen.

@@jareknowak8712 we do, Here in Colorado I could name 10 spots that would be perfect for this style event and that’s not even including pikes peak, there are tons of mountains and cornerful roads

The board was showing the time of that particular run. The time we showed was the final combined Time of the race ( 2 Fastest Runs added).

Never done racing like this. But my first thought is why would you use a motorcycle engine for hillclimb, arent those engines built for top end performance?. Id would figure you would want all the torque you can get for a course like this.🤷‍♂️
