All you'll accomplish is making people hate you before even seeing your content. You should make videos because you enjoy it, not because you want to make money from them, or whatever other reason you could have. Dear gamers, stop being cynical assholes. Get off your fucking hate bandwagon and think for yourself. If you follow game industry you know that cinematic trailers are usually followed by more than one gameplay trailer. I don't understand why we cannot have both. Cinematics show basic premise and give you a taste of the world and characters. They also often show gameplay elements although being executed in flashier way than in an actual gameplay.

Sorry, I didnt want to come off that aggressive but the amount of exactly the same comments as yours under these types of videos is really annoying. I don't understand why we have to be so negative about cinematics. Gameplay trailers are not going away. EVER. I truly feel sorry for anybody who preordered and got burned but I do not understand why people would preorder without being 100% sure about it. We shouldn't have such a cynical attitude to all developers because 2 of them have messed up. There is plenty of cynisism to go around in the world already. Over the last 1,5 years I preordered Persona 5, Horizon Zero Dawn and Monster Hunter World. All exceptional games which I was 100% sure about. Cinematics have always been exciting for me and I remember the age when majority of gamers were also excited.

I have nothing against cutscenes and cinematics, in principle, but I do think that a lot of game developers have been trying ever too hard to make games appear as something other than what they are, as well as create the illusion of a vastly superior, vastly more expansive product than anyone could have ever imagined, using cinematics, among other things, as fluff. I would absolutely not mind them creating cinematics like these, once the game has already been released, for example, but if the game is not out yet and they are trying to give gamers a look at what they can expect, I would much rather they showed gameplay and spent more time working on the game, to the point where they can actually show a fair amount thereof, rather than waste time coming up with these admittedly very impressive-looking cinematics.

No. The water area is supposed to be a type of 'purgatory' you go after you die. You have to swim around to find your body and return to the material world AFTER each event. It is possible what you saw was a representation of his soul returned to his body. Although there IS a theory floating around that those figures you saw-anyone seeing them is implanted with one of their 'babies'-the ones seen in the capsules. So it IS possible that in order to protect itself it left the capsule to be protected inside Sam's body.

Death Stranding will be similar. Although you can come back after death, you'll come back AFTER the event. So the happening in the preview? You can't die and then restart and do it again properly, it's done and you have to 'live with the consequences'.

Jacob St.Clair Reality is what many people are looking for in a game. A good story with a practical scenario. Not everyone wants a mindless escape, they want to feel like that world is reality. But a reality they can never live. I understand you have what you like, but give the guy a break. There are more then enough games for everyone to get everything them want out of them. No matter how weird or odd it might seem to someone else, since we have the space for them isn’t only fair that we give it to them. Or are games only meant to provide for your wants.

Its nice to see for a change. As for the one zombie game, i'm hoping its a more open world game with tons of survival elements otherwise its not worth playing. Idk how i'd feel about TLoU2 being a thing either, i feel the over-hype will sell it and lead being to be disappointed due to higher expectations.

insane Gamer778 most videogames made into movies are terrible. Mario Bros = shit. Mortal Combat = immortal shit. Tekken = tech-nically shit. Street Fighter = Shit in the streets. Resident Evil = Undead shit. Tomb Raider = Discovered shit. (Although i have not seen the new one yet). The list goes on and on and on. There have been a few exceptions here and there. Prince of Persia was good. The first Silent Hill. Not bad. FF Advent children all-be-it not a live action film was pretty damn awesome. But 9 times out of 10, they seem to F it up. Still, I get a little nauseous every time I hear about one in the pipeline.

Julien Cirhuza Kacuka yeah i've played those games. Cuz AoT has little flying goblins in them? Lol Jumping from rooftop to rooftop does not make it AoT. Not seeing any walls. Not seeing any soldier transforming into a giant. No emphasis on the walls. AoT has an entire army while this guy is a lone warrior. Themes are different as well. AoT covers humans being like cattle. Content on just living their lives the way they did. And so the scouting legion is very special, for they try to explore the outside. This game looks like a mere giant monster slaying game.

Are you serious ? The first Red Dead Redemption was a masterpiece and probably will be the second one (or I hope so because GTA V has disappointed me in many ways). Metro series is amazing and Exodus is going to be cool. Look like you haven't seen any trailer or gameplay of these games.

I did exclusive alpha for RDR2. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but its going to be a buggy shitty mess day 1. Just like Red dead redemption was. The metro series was OK. you need to look at things in an unbiased manner fanboy. The metro series takes an overused, overtired concept, and makes it passably unique. Exodus isn't out yet, and the only "gameplay" that is out, is overhyped content displayed by the developers, so I really don't intend to buy into that garbage. I've seen too many devs do that with a game series only to be utterly disappointed. Kingdom come deliverance was one of them, as was elex.

I am so sad to have not enough free time to play most of those games. Death stranding is the most disturbing/intriguing/exciting trailer I've ever seen ! I remember how I loved space invaders and pacman when was a kid in early 80s. It is crazy to see how video games became a major art. Pong > Space invaders > Pacman > Prince of Persia > Supermario > Sonic > Zelda > Street fighter > Doom > MGS > Resident Evil > Fifa/PES > Gran turismo > GTA ... and so many revolutionnary games to arrive where we are now.

original kebab remover/ a true hero I feel saying it belongs in the trash is harsh. When I played it I thought the choices really mattered which equals replayability, the graphics were great, decent story, and emotionally moving dialogue and characters. Overall I'd give it at least an 8/10. Just because it is by David Cage definitely doesn't mean it belongs in the trash.

no it didn't, and as far as xbox goes, it's going to flop like ark unfortunately. the last 6 updates have made the game progressively more unstable, and now it is more or less unplayable. With launch less than a month away, I regret purchasing the game. Now is not the time for them to be releasing untested content. This is the point where they should be adding stability patches.

Scalebound was cancelled due to irreconcilable differences between Microsoft and Platinum Games over the direction of the game. Many assume that Microsoft was the ones that owned the IP and they pulled the plug on it when Platinum refused to do as they said. The game wasn't cancelled because they couldn't meet demands, no matter what Microsoft PR may have said.

MS didn't want to waste money on game that was crap and full of problems. the concept was great but the execution on the game was terrible.

Chris P Subjective nonsense. Microsoft cancelled the game because Platinum Games didn't just say yes to everything they demanded. It nearly bankrupt PG and Nier Automata put them back into steady waters. Microsoft has a long history of screwing both consumers and partners. It wasn't about the quality of game, it was a power struggle move.

Oh buddy, you clearly don't know Kojima when it comes to gameplay, he is probably making an amazing story with an incredible gameplay, and those kind of games are the best.

Perfect example of blind sony ponies. Even though no gameplay has been seen (not even the type) they still ffirmly believe it will be amazing. I cant wait to see that its a walking simulator.
