I recommend "Settlement: Survival" It is similar to acclaimed "Banished" game but with more refined game play and game mechanics. Strong emphasis on food and farming. If you re satisfied with the Banished, you will enjoy Settlement: Survival, too.

I disagree with some of the titles listed in the videos, such as They are Billions, Civilizations VI, Factorio. They are games in other genres (RTS, Grand Strategy, Automation). In addition, speaking of City builders, Against the Storm is a must-play title, with a very unique and innovative gameplay. Why could it be not included in the video?

They are what he likes and views as City Building. But I agree I would take Factorio and They are billions off the list. They are a different type of game.

I thought the list was great as I’m a newbie at playing Building Games however, I was very distracted by his accent. I felt like he was eating something while he was speaking. I’m not being mean at all. I thought he did a great job if I could just get passed whatever is going on with his voice. I’ll continue to follow him and even subscribe to his channel:) Perhaps he could take a few lessons in English annunciation.

im sorry but the video narrator lost me at "banished-unique twist" does every game have a unique twist by his definition because theyre all different? what exactly is the unique twist of banished? snow lol?

Farthest Frontier should not be in this list. It's an RTS like Strongholds, not a city builder.

The fact that you included Cities Skylines 2 on a list of the best city builders is an absolute joke. Proof that you are literally just picking the most well known titles with absolutely no concern for quality.

Anno 1800 is the greatest of all time in my humble opinion.
