To the people who are sad because SNSD and Bigbang are being shifted for Twice and BTS on charts. Feel calm, they were at the top of the game for at least 7 years between 2009 and 2016, it's only natural after so many years (both groups have more than 11 years of existence by now) that groups more than 6 years younger start gathering more attention, we are also older now and don't have the same energy to stream and stan hard. Our beloved idols are carrying on with their lifes (marrying, serving in the army, acting, releasing solos) but they made history for kpop and didn't even had the same space to enter other markets! You go 3rd gen and new fans!

They climb hard together to put atleast 1 MV just to join on the 100 most viewed list way back(2015) .. And now , BTS has 16 MVs on the list 😊 and looking forward for more!!! . I know everyone is always sad about 2nd gen songs falling of this list. But why focus on the negative? I think this chart is so great at showing which songs are still seen as legendary by the gp. Like haru haru still gets 2,7m a month, while a song like lotto which is a lot newer only gets 1,8m. Tbh i think this chart always shows how old songs also still get appreciated a lot

dreamingintomorrow i agreed. Falling out of the chart doesn't mean they are not legend anymore. They just move to another place called Hall of Fame. I am fan BTS and I know they would also fall out the chart one day in future. That's life !!!!

Exactly.. YT views charting isn't everything tbh. It's just a way to know the latest hot music rn. We as humans mostly want to listen to latest music to date.. it's a natural thing that the old songs didn't get a lot of attention anymore. And yes I am surprised people still watching old MVs. A million views increased is pretty amazing for a 5 or more olds MVs

Sans yeah Twice and BP have amazing views but I've never seen them get that high in this chart for the first time and on the first month of its release... #46 is no joke... But I think I've seen a similar position a long ago by BTS again...

Back then views were from people *with genuine interest* but now the importance of views has been downgraded because they're no longer a count of interest since it's the same few thousand/million people streaming it.
