Dino Rynado It was an extremely easy catch in terms of skill. The ball was literally right in Marcus’ arms! I mean nice heads up play by Mariota (though the decision to throw the ball was horrible, he just got lucky), but the catch itself was nothing special. It’s just a play that has almost zero chance of happening.

It wasn’t a spectacular catch, deflected passes are caught all the time. Just because a quarterback did it doesn’t make it better than any of the top 10 catches. It was impressive though

#1 Catch doesn't mean he is good. Odell's catch doesn't mean he is the GOAT. Plus look at Hopkin's stats. Keenan Allen has more reception yards.

Really? Only one Saints catch? I can already come up with one that they missed, Kamara's bobbled catch in the game against Washington. Other good candidates that should have easily cracked the top 100 are Lattimore's pick six off a tipped ball that didn't see coming, Cameron Jordan's tip to himself for a pick six against the Lions, and Marcus Williams' one-handed pick just above the turf after it was tipped twice. And that's just the defense.

To be fair Brees just places the ball in perfect positions and his receivers usually don't have to make such crazy adjustments. Besides Thomas though, Saints receivers don't have amazing "moss" skills. Kamara to me is the 2nd best at receiving on the team. And even then Thomas is better with running routes than he is at making great deep catches.
