there's never "times when it didn't matter". he may have been better in the most important situations but all plays MATTER. imagine if he was that good 100% of the time. he'd never even be in game losing situations. you can't say a qb is underrated because of 5% of their plays

Patrick Boyce Dwight Clark catch was easy, all he did was jump up in the air and got it, also no one was near him. The Franco Harris catch literally deflected right into his hands. Stefan diggs was iconic not challenging true, but the same could go for the others.

Where have you been? Moss played for the Patriots from 2007-2010. Had an NFL record 23 TDs in 1 season.

@@justawhiteguywitharocketla590 In my opinion it should be number one not just because of the catch but also because of the circumstances, that game where he caught it was the AFC Championship and after Pittsburgh won the AFC championship they would go on to win the super bowl. So if Franco Harris would never have caught that ball the Steelers would never have won the super bowl.

Wasn't the AFC championship game.Did not go to the Super Bowl.Dolphin's undefeated season.Lost to the Dolphins in Pittsburgh.Not a Dolphins fan,but somebody trying to steal an undefeated season away would piss me off.

@@thinincrispy6172 Not even close dude. They went on to lose the following game vs the Dolphins. The Catch is #1. The 49ers went on to win the Super Bowl and it was the beginning of a dynasty. This list is tainted.

Number 42, a sad reminder of how time flies. I think that game was 1974 or 75. My Father and I watched the game on TV. We played catch with a Nerf Football in the house while Mom was out shopping. Pops is gone now but the many memories remain.

Mario Mannigham's catch in the Super Bowl is the best catch I've ever seen. The others before that were just lucky bounces. Great catches, but more luck than skill.
