Stallord is my favorite boss of all time, not only because it's a cinematic and cool boss, but also because it's just really fun to play

@@damianpeeters6228 i agree, one of the best bosses of the entire series. Whish it lasted longer, but overall it's pretty fun and cool. The only thing if I had created it I would have made a phase even in which it flew, maybe over the entire desert, only to fall in the Arbiter's ground at the end

stallord makes up for lack of difficulty by just being really extremely fun. one of the most fun boss fights in the series. its a high octane roller coaster ride mixed with a boss fight

I personally rank Zant as the number one Zelda boss (including final bosses.) He is just so good!

Even counting final bosses, Monk Maz Koshia is still definetly my personal favorite. Possibly even my favorite Video Gaming Boss Battle Ever. It just has so much darn sheer variety to it, and it's just an incredibly fun fight overall. I really loved your choices overall.

I liked the bosses. But the only ones I would put in a top ten list are Thunderblight, Calamity Ganon (who is a final boss) and Moni Maz Koshia, my personal favorite Zelda boss.

I like Ramrock because it was a puzzle boss without being boring AF. If minibosses count, Blue Stalfos was pretty neat.

This is the very first time I'm watching a top Zelda Bosses list where Koloktos is placed as low as 4. I love Koloktos, but it's good to see some other good bosses in the top 3 for a change.

Armaghoma from twilight princess will forever haunt my nightmares, and that disturbing music too

My favorite boss battle is Demise; on Hero mode new game+ specifically. The additional upgrades to the Skyward Strike really brings out the duality in the showdown, and the double damage adds real stakes to the fight.

I think that the extra eyes in the 3d remake were added to create a visible link (heh) between the bosses and Majora. Look at them, and then look at the eyes on Majora's Mask: don't they look familiar? Plus it's a case of "eyes don't go there", which increases the unsettling factor, and as why the weak point in Zelda games are often eyes... yeah, well, think about it. Imagine someone stabbing you in the hand, or in a leg, versus them stabbing you in the eyes. Guess which one hurts the most and is potentially more lethal.

Helmasaur King is my #1 purely for design alone. I love it so much.

Again, like the dungeons, I do believe TP and OOT might have the best bosses in the series. TP has really easy ones like oot but they just feel so grand and epic and amazing that I absolutely love them which played a huge role in it being my favorite Zelda fame. Oot also has some bad ones but some phenomenal ones. Anyway here’s my top 10 and like dungeons I’ll only pick one from each Zelda game otherwise Tp and oot will crush it again 1. Zant 2. Koloktos 3. Monk Maz Koshia 4. Phantom Ganon 5. Goht 6. Helmarok King 7. Stalblind 8. Gyorg Pair 9. Cragma 10. Gleeok Pair

The first time beating the first part of the zelda dlc I wasn't completely satisfied but then that boss song plays and was left wanting this for my future zelda bosses

Molgera was hard for me when I was younger because I never tried locking onto it . I was always trying to free aim the tongue and always struggled.

Oh goht one of my favorite bosses...I always saw it as the ultimate accomplishment whenever I was able to get goron link up on his back and just grind his health away in one sitting lol

Zant is the best boss fight and the music from the Zant fight is also very epic

For Phantom Ganon, here is a tip to figure out which one is the fake when they are jumping out of the pictures: listen for the sounds of the horse galloping. The best way to do this is to use headphones when playing the game. Look in the direction that the sounds come from because that is the real one.

The entire saga of fights with Ganondorf at the end of Twilight Princess were incredible. One of my favorite moments in gaming ever is when it comes down to just you and him, and you draw swords for the fate of Hyrule. Ugh. Good shit.

Monk Max Koshia is the type of boss the BoTW sequel should strive to create for each dungeon

It never gets much love, but I think Malladus in Spirit Tracks is the most satisfying boss battle I've ever played.

2 honorable mentions, King Helmaroc The Demon Bird in Windwaker, and Volvagia the Subterian Lava Dragon in Ocarina Of Time. Both of these bosses are on par with one another, are both VERY intimidating at first site, are challenging, yet A LOT of fun, and have awesome soundtracks to match. Those are by far my 2 most favorite boss fights from the Zelda games and should most DEFINITELY be honorable mentions.

I am a bit dissapointed there was no Twinrova from OOT. I found the battle fun, creative and also humorous.

I definitely really enjoy the Koloktos and Final Ghirahim fights (the gauntlet before the latter makes that fight really harrowing), but one thing that really peeved me in the Final Ghirahim fight was how the music just stops and Ghirahim basically tells you how to defeat him in bright red letters... Like... come on, man... I ain't that dumb. Aside from that, I'd include Stalblind (from A Link Between Worlds) and a mention of Ocarina's Iron Knuckle. The former because it's an enjoyable puzzle and the latter because Egoraptor reminded me ages ago about what was so cool about that fight, and being the only fight I actually lost against (I played OoT years after release so most fights didn't end up doing much damage)

Really great and original takes. I think I like your choices the best on this entire comments section. Only thing is the lack of original ALTTP bosses. I mean; Helmansaur King, Triinex and Agahnim are some of the most memorable adversaries in history.

I hope the developers of BOTW2 learn from the Monk boss fight and give us more of THIS in the sequel. The ONLY mark against that game were the extremely lackluster bosses. The very few there were….

'Mark'?? It's more like a cataclysmic tear through space-time. If Breath1 *was going to be a 10/10: for me the absolutely ridiculous omissions of proper Dungeons and their Bosses _and_ the Special items they guard is an easy docked 3 whole points Only non-Zelda fans would disagree with that.

But I believe this game was rated _far_ too highly. I hope Breath2 delivers massive improvements. So far from the trailer it does seem very encouraging, having better enemy variation and just far more Interesting and unique enemies like that weird Cave tentacle for a start! I’m gonna make some very fun and challenging boss fights for whatever video games I make. Here’s one: Tectrok. Resembles a giant, mechanical gorilla with drill arms on springs, a face consisting of a single eye, and Tesla coils along its back. Here’s its attacks: 1. Drill Strike: Uncoils one of its springs to send a drill arm flying at you. The drill refuses to be blocked, and if you’re able to dodge it, you can cut the spring to throw the drill back at the boss. 2. Earthquake: Stomps on the ground, rearranging the altitudes of the hexagonal rock stacks that you fight it on. A rising pillar will knock you into the air. 3. Tunnel: Digs under the ground, and ambushes you from below. Just before disappearing, it will predict where you will be when it emerges, so use that to your advantage. 4. Lightning: Fires bolts of lightning from its Tesla coils. Breaking the coils prevents them from firing lightning at you. 5. Shockwave (higher difficulty only): Charges up with electricity, jumps into the air and stomps down. This causes electricity to surge across the terrain. Tectrok will replace destroyed drills and coils in time, and to damage it, you can either try to brute-strength its chest plate or unscrew it via precise drill throws. In its second form, once the chest plate is removed, Tectrok electrifies itself, making it so that direct contact deals damage to you. It loses its Tunnel attack, but Drill Strike, Lightning and Shockwave all do extra damage. There’s even 1-2 new attacks gained: 6. Arm Spin: Spins around, stretching out its arms. Will raise and lower them in a bid to strike you, and if you’re close, will contract them to speed up and become harder to dodge. 7. Lightning Storm (higher difficulty only): Fires a ball of electricity into the air, which then becomes multiple lightning bolts striking at about the same time. Too beat Tectrok, you need to attack its exposed inner workings.

Watching this makes me wish I kept all of my zelda games... Man I wish there was a zelda collection or something so I could replay all the zelda games

Stallord is definitely my favourite, cause it's really fun. In fact, it's really the sweet in an awful dungeon (not for its difficulty, but for its bloody freaking beetles). ^^

Arbiter's Grounds is my all time favorite dungeon with my favorite boss, on my favorite Zelda game.

I really liked the battle with Twinrova in Ocarina of Time.

Argorok from TP was epic too

My favorite zelda boss has to be probably the seventh boss of lozla i think it was the bird boss from eagle tower. You may be wonder why i dont remember the name. Well i have bad memory and i have not played that gane in a while. I love it bc just the idea of multitasking while trying to hit the bird and trying to not get knocked off the tower into spikes.

You forgot to mention for Molgera that he has WICKED music to go along with him. I feel the music is just as important a componant to boss battles than the rest.

Im not gonna lie but the wii games really had the best bosses - because it felt like YOU were inflicting this much damage, and that was awesome.

the imprisoned, it was so stressful yet so epic. -He is Huge. -Every fase he decides to do a fast travel closer to his destination. -Slamming the stone in his head once he is dawn is satisfying. -You have to use wind to be faster than him. -You had multiple methods for destroying his toes. (bow, bomb, sword...) -He eventually decides to fly -This is the moment were Groose really shined by helping you with his insane catapult he has build himself. -And once there was no catapult-ammunition anymore, YOU HAD TO BE SHOOTED BY THE CATAPULT TO REACH THE BANNY MID AIR AND GIVING HIM THE FINAL BLOW! This boss, is underrated... Edit: I had the wrong boss name.

Every boss from the Majora’s Mask remake had an eye added as the weak point for their fights. If you look close enough, you’ll notice that the eye is almost identical to Majora’s eyes possibly implying that every boss is controlled by it.

I love how the only way to differentiate between the clones in the mao kosha fight is to use the camera feature, like I never brought my camera out during a fight I mean why would you it makes more sense to zoom in from afar than to bring out a seemingly in the moment useless tool mid combat
