I was so pissed after Matrix 4 I literally searched for rants on youtube. And I'm not one to ever really seek other perspectives to validate my own. I just wasn't sure if I was losing my mind or that the movie was actually that incredibly bad. It was the one movie I actually got excited about having not felt that in years. A part of me died along with the Matrix that day.

Me too, I was on Twitter, and I just went on the Matrix page, and commented how they should of never ever made a 4th film, and how disappointing it was. I also said they should of marketed the movie better, wishing this movie had a better release date, so the movie could do well at the box office, and also have a better story

Yeah they should of had somebody else right and direct the movie. The movie felt so fan made. Like it was made for TV. It was terrible. 20 years and thats the best lana could come up with

I'm so glad you had Army of the Dead on this list. Dude that movie is just a complete and utter mess, so many plot holes and ridiculous characters, I ranted for days after watching it. I hate it lol 😂 also I agree the 5 minute intro sequence should have been the movie and the fact that it wasn't was a waste.

I think what upset me most about it was that there were so many interesting ideas they could have explored and pursued none of them. It felt like someone confused the brainstorming session notes for an actual script.

I only semi recently discovered him too, I think I was looking up reviews for Ghostbusters: Afterlife, because I was on the fence about seeing it. But him and Critical Drinker are my go-tos now.

Love the Space Jam pitch meeting in the middle. Super easy, barely an inconvenience. Gotta give you props for saying that Jerry is an ass, always hated that jerk.

Hi Adam, I'm sorry to hear about that eyelash man, when I was a welder, when grinding the steel, once every few months, I'd get a spark or metal splinter in my eye. Ow! It feels like a brick under your eyelid. So, what I was told to do to dislodge the thing was to get the carton of milk, tilt my head up, hold my eyelid apart, and pour the milk straight into my eye, and bro, it sounds like a wives tale, but I swear it worked 99 per cent of the time. The milk is so lubricating, that it flushes the thing lodged in your eye fully out! So I hope it never happens again, but if it does, milk works perfectly! Anyhow, love your videos man! Hope you're having a great New Year!👍

Take a very wet rag or sponge (clean obviously). Place on eye and press squeezing the water out. Usually works for me

We closed in on 59k 2 years back and then I stopped posting content consistently/tried different shows. Channel dipped down to around 55k and now we are finally climbing!! Pretty much have the shittiness of Matrix 4 to thank for that (unfortunately) but hopefully word of mouth and the KZread Gods help spread the word this year.

That point Adam made about “you can feel the pain” that makes it funny. This is immensely true for movies like home alone. The nail on the stairs scene from 1. The brick scene from 2. It’s so impactful yet hilarious.

The Matrix Resurrections just confused me in so much aspects.Why even bring back classic characters like Morphes and Agent Smith when they look,or act nothing like them?Was Lana so creatively bankrupt that she just regurgitated almost everything,including literal scenes from the original trilogy into this sequel?Who approved some of the crappy effects?Why is Trinity the one,when the original trilogy established that there's only one 'The One'?(it's literally in the name!) Overall,The Matrix Resurrections is a classic examples of unnecessary sequels in wrapped up franchises that ended up causing more questions and retroactively ruining the originals,and I regretted paying for my ticket to see it.

Yeah it's so weird. Used to be a big film goer and there was almost always something out every 2 to 4 weeks that would get me in a cinema. There's practically nothing anymore.

Adam, sorry for this second post, but the mosquito in the eye brought back a disgusting memory, so I hope you can have a laugh at my expense. I'm walking home from work, and this blowfly flies into my mouth and gets lodged in the back of my throat. I couldn't swallow it, not cough it up. There it stayed. I had a half hours walk home ahead of me. As I get close to home, this fly is marinating in my mouth tasting worse with each passing minute, it was the worst thing I ever tasted in my life. So I run into my house, desperate for some liquid to wash it down. I tear open my fridge, grab the carton of milk and just start guzzling it down. So of course, the milk was sour and curdling and chunky. Great. So I'm bent over throwing up all over the kitchen floor. And the taste of fly meat and off milk was the worst thing I've ever tasted in my life! So that's my insect flying into my face story.👍

I didn't think The Conjuring was that bad, it wasn't particularly original or inspired, but eh, what did you expect? That's pretty much what that franchise is, it's generic jump scares wrapped around the same basic plot. It was..... Fine. The production quality was good, as is expected for their budget.

Another great video Adam,For me theirs only three Matrix 4-not only extremely disappointed me as a matrix fan,but it also had action far below that of the groundbreaking original. Space jam 2-this shouldn't have existed in the first place so imma just leave it at that Mortal kombat 2021-disappointing garbage,it made my favorite character liu kang and others look like idiots and destroyed an established mythology just to satisfy not-johnny cage.

Good list. I did have Matrix on mine, but personally feel that every list that doesn't have Space Jam 2 as number one is being generous.

I forget who said it, but Matrix: Resurrections is basically "critic-proof", not because it's good, but they call out their own crap throughout the film so if you criticize them, then "it was meta". Basically the Watchowski's read Simulacra and Simulation in college, blew the minds of a generation who hadn't read it, and now they're the people at the party still trying to blow minds with the same ideas. Yes, we are all a copy of a copy of a copy, doing all the things we're told to do.

I thought Spiral was way better than any of the more recent Saw movies. Although the ending was very underwhelming, I still wouldn't call it an awful movie.

@@markzuckergecko621 Disagree. I think Spiral is easily the worst Saw Movie out of the 9 Films in the Franchise. There were barely any creative traps in it and the twist was predictable as hell. It also had probably the worst performance from Chris Rock. I will be really suprised if he doesn't get a Razzie Nomination for it.

it’s been revealed back in August of 2021 that the writers of Sonic The Hedgehog movie were called by WB to write Tom and Jerry (2021). But WB executives get rid of Pat and Josh because they don’t want the cat and mouse to be the main focus. The source is by a website cartoon brew and by a podcast called The GHZ Podcast (The podcast isn’t available on KZread but somewhere different and I found this on a tweet)

Eyelash in the eye, probably the most annoying thing ever! Who came up with that idea, who designed the human body? In my office, immediately! But it could at least distract from a bad movie, because you´re thinking, tears please do your job. For both me and the movie. Still have to watch The Eternals. Number 2 was a great way of subverting expectation. Not one, multiple streaming service movies put in a body bag. Great idea Adam. Already forgotten Tom&Jerry, thx for bringing it up again Adam! Still avoided Space Jam 2 and Home Sweet Home Alone to this day. Don´t forget to be thankful for The Matrix Resurrections. You know why. 😜

The matrix got sodomised like the way disney sodomised star wars after 'the last jedi'. I fucking hate modern remakes/sequels to old classics from 20+ years ago. Also those streaming exclusives....oh man, they don't even try at all. It's like a bunch of B movies. It's so hard to find something good to watch these days.

I don't know if it's fair to put streaming exclusive movies number 2 cause there was a lot of good films that came from streaming services like the power of the dog, the tomorrow war, red notice, the dig and Nomadland. Then there was Tick Tick Boom which many say was one of the best films of the year and it might win a ton of awards. Theres probably more too but those were the ones I watched that were good. Unless you did not like those films then thats fine I respect your opinion but I think there was a lot of good streaming service movies that came from this year

If a kid watching a kid's movie suddenly left a few minutes later, you'll know it is not a very good movie

I'd forgotten that "Army of the Dead" existed, even after watching several very entertaining negative reviews of it. The choices made in it are just baffling, including Snyder using an old shallow depth of field lens from the 1960s - that's the kind of thing you experiment with for a few shots, not just say "WHOOO, F--K IT!!" and use it the entire movie. Then again, I'm not Zach Snyder.
