Alright it didn't make the list..so let me explain: At Blizzcon 2018/9; Blizzard announced the release of "Warcraft 3 Reforged" a remaster of the game where they got their roots..the game promised remodels, remastered cutscenes, and more. What ended up happening is the models were handled by a third party company in Malaysia, and Blizzard literally twiddled their thumbs for an entire year. They did nothing with the game and sure enough, we were not delivered what was promised, we got a game with a lot of game crashing bugs, and worse of all, a terrible EULA agreement for their custom games, ensuring they have the rights to your creation (because they don't want another DOTA) and that's when they made said apology "we were sorry we couldn't live up to the expectations of players". Which sounded incredibly disingenuous and downright condescending. On top of this; they REJECTED refunds on their game for 3 months after it's release..Recently, a Former Blizzard Employee came forth and claimed it was no mistake, and a recent scandal (unrelated but worth mentioning) is a female employee recently committed suicide because she was degraded by her drunk CEOs passing around her naked pictures at a holiday party. Blizzard is now fighting a heavy lawsuit in San Diego and production of world of warcraft is currently halted.

It's why I stopped playing Blizzard games. I know what happens in the office doesn't affect me the customer (mostly), but I won't let my funds go to a company that doesn't respect its entire patronage (especially now when they removed 30 day game time from WoW, the payment method I've been using since 2017 when I started paying for the game)

In retrospect all cd projeckt red game are always glitchy and buggy. Just like all bethana are little buggy. The only difference is that they didn't optimize cyberpunk an enough to make it play part stable on launch. If they just stated that the console and little bit of the PC version was buggy and it would take them a 1 year longer for release, they could have dodge alot of bullets. Witcher 3 crash alot on console but it good. The pressure to jump the gun and make money got to them. Still they are terrible and should stop making games as a whole if the pressure is too great. They lost their focus from the start on this one.

CDPR tried their best, but I'm pretty sure their apology, even if bad, does NOT belong on the Top 10 list like this. There are MUCH WORSE apologies, at least several of them are from Activision studios. AND THEY'RE NOT EVEN HERE!!! Also YOU DIDN'T EVEN TRY to research the correct pronunciation of the CDPR co-founder's name. And 9:47 250k?! IT CLEARLY SAYS OVER 600K! There's 1 negative point per downvote. I could have looked past the glitches in Cyberpunk2077, (I played it on PS4 Pro) so it wasn't as bad as some peoples copies but, the one thing I can't forgive is how goddamn short it was and how little their was to do,

In comparison to their previous game The Witcher 3 which imo is a masterpiece and my favourite game, Cyberpunk lacked everything very much, Witcher 3 had heart and soul, the explorations, the lively world and how alive it felt really made it immersive and sucked you in, on the other hand Cyberpunk was not just able to pull that off. Witcher 3 had choices that made me sweat i had to think carefully and cautiously before making any choice and the consequences were great and I loved how their were so many possibilities to everything even choosing certain dialogue options in an order triggered different conversations, meanwhile the choices in Cyberpunk were shallow and were not at all intense in comparision to The Witcher 3. The contracts in Witcher 3 were numerous and all had a good story and lore on their own and were great but in CP the gigs may be immesely larger in number but they are the same shit without any good characters or lore and do not feel the same. The romance options meant something in the Witcher and characters reacted on choosing others meanwhile in CP your fuck buddies don't even recognize if your fucking someone else. There was so much to do and everything was so perfectly laid out in The Witcher 3, I can really see the devs tried to do their best and really put their heart and soul into Cyberpunk but it just was'nt the same. I think they would have done better if they would have gotten more time and would hve not considered completelt changing the game from tpp to fpp and even tGBe whole story due to Keanu Reeves just 2 years before its release. Still its a good game and I like it very much.

Upon seeing this as released just yesterday. Oh I wonder what inspired this list. Despite these all being bad, the one that infuriates me the most is the 100 hour week. That does more than creating a toxic workplace, it can shatter families. Back in 2004, there was a letter to EA titled "The EA Widow" It was by the spouse of an EA developer, Her husband's state of health was in constant decline. Little to no interaction with the family. Just work and sleep.

The apology from CD Projekt Red was a freaking joke. He was so robotic, like the guy was being held at gunpoint outside of camera frame.

How do I remember that EA gave us some in-game credits and star cards to upgrade Boba Fett a LOT in Star Wars Battlefront II? I also remember that I had to buy Vader, Luke, Rey, Kylo Ren, AND a few other heroes also when the game launched. So glad the micro transactions are DEAD in Star Wars Battlefront II, but the scars are still there and aren’t dead.

Also if you can't fix a game, fix it and simplify it so it is enjoyable. I see alot of video than game in the newest video games. The graphic, stupid trying to make a complex story, the same tropes of awkness, and of dullness.

Dear game companies, Here's a little hint to help avoid disasters like the Arkham Knight PC port, Anthem, Mass Effect Andromeda, and Cyberpunk 2077: Finish game, release game. I know this complex, so let me clarify: Release game, finish game = wrong order. Finish game, release game = right order.

It's never good when a gaming company becomes a corporation. It ends up carrying the same mentality.

Cyberpunk 2077 is the Fyre Festival of video games.

Nintendo: Leaving Peach out of NSMBW, NSMBU, SMM2, and SMO.

For Cyberpunk 2077 it was investors that pushed for the game to be released no matter if there are bugs still in the game that needed to be fixed

That's not true CDRED even said they felt no pressure to put out the game from investors. The people who pushed for the game was the CEO's of CDRED, even though there developer team told them the game wasn't ready, but they just had to have it out for the hoilday season.

To be fair, Activision-Blizzard could easily take either the number 1 or the number 2 spot here. Not only are they currently being accused of basically the exact same thing (bro-culture and doing nothing about it for years), but they've also gotten themselves into some bad controversies in the past few years (The Blitzchung/Hong Kong situation, the Warcraft 3: Reforged debacle), but I guess the "statements" we've gotten so far don't count as apologies, so I see why they're not currently on this list.

When I think Fallout 76 apologies. I first think of that statement as to why they switched from a canvas to a nylon bag in the power armor edition without telling people. Saying we had to switch due to unavailability and that they hope it doesnt affect what they thought was their best special edition collection yet. And they gave people a mere 5 dollars in in-game currency.

That nylon bag was absolutely crap, they ended up sending the proper canvas bag and took their time with it. The game was so buggy at first, I spent the money on the power army version for my partner as a Christmas gift and we ended up trading the game in. He had things stolen from his in game camp and it got brushed off as oops bug.
