You guys are definitely going to have to be our guides on our next visit to Melbourne. Didn't go to any of these places on our last trip. I'd have to say I was into water parks the most. Probably because we didn't have them in our town so when we went it was extra special.

Our favourite is for sure the Healesville Sanctuary. To be honest, we're not big fans of zoos, but sanctuaries are definitely a good place to get up close with wild animals who got a second chance there. Echidnas are so adorable, we got see one in the wild this summer in Western Australia. By the way, if you want to see Australian animals in the wild, definitely go to Western Australia or the Northern Territory. Cool summary for places for kids in Melbourne! Thanks for sharing!

Cool sites, Tina. So many family-friendly options here. I really liked Adventure Park Geelong. I never realised that there was a waterpark bigger than Wet N Wild and it was in Geelong of all places.

Thanks, Lin! Oh, snap. That is actually my mistake. It's meant to be the biggest waterpark in "Victoria". I think Wet N Wild might still be bigger.

First of all appropriate background to film this video at a playground for this video haha! Gumbaya World seems pretty fun with all those water slides - even I would actually go there! You've introduced so many hidden gems around VIC that I'm not even aware of, this is amazing and I can see the amount of research that goes into this! I really wish I had all these experiences when I was a kid haha.

It's a good double up to leave the kids (including Andy) there to leave me in peace 😂😂 It's never too late to head over to these sorts of places! We saw lots of different ages go there.

Kryal Castle looks so cool!! Those Knights were going hard in the battles, imagining that for a job, I'd work 7 days a week! 😂Growing up in NZ we always had fun out on the farm, but my favourite has been and always will be theme parks, I just can't get enough of them and it drives Tash nuts 🤣

  • @HangryByNature

The knights were actually fighting, it wasn't a staged show. It gets really brutal but it is very entertaining to watch. We also really enjoy theme parks! haha do you make tash go on rides? Andy doesn't like full on rides but i always try to make him go 😂😂😂

  • @LeonandTash

😂Yeah that is so us at theme parks 🤣I walk in the gate and just want to head straight to the biggest ride there, but Tash is good, if we build our way up 99% of the time she will usually do every ride at least once...not without a little dose of partner pressure though 😁

Wow the Kryal Castle looks like my kind of place. Do they have costumes you can rent? I have always wanted to go on a safari. I wish my zoo had a safari. Water parks always win .

I believe they have costumes to rent for photos, not sure if you can wear the outfit out and about in the castle. Water parks are really fun.
