Lincoln online is different from the Lincoln now, a student studio apartment now cost around £400-£500. 2 bedroom unfurnished now cost around £650-£750 while furnished is around £950-£1400. And transportation is higher than every other place I have been to in the UK. Private Cab cost around £7:50 and above while a day rider bus ticket cost around £5. Lincoln landlords are the real definition of “na my house”

I live in Anfield Liverpool and we pay 650 pounds for a 3 bedroom duplex. We live just behind the Anfield stadium. I would say Liverpool and derby are about the cheapest judging by quality and all

You present a very lovely and informative video.👍It's pointless leaving in London these days because renting or buying a house is beyond the reach of many working class people. Also the houses in London are sometimes smaller due space issues and even the bigger houses in London are well above the reach of many. If the average in Durham is £ 27,000 per annum, then people who earn this are far better than many people who earn the same, £27,000 but live in the expensive London town. You can't do much in terms of renting or buying a house with £27,000 in London compared to living in Northern England town s ie Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield etc. The average of renting even a one bedroom apartment in London is sometimes up to £1,000 or more in many instances. Some rooms in London even go for as high as £500 per calendar month. The fact that London is so expensive was the reason why there was a massive shift to far away outer London cities and towns at the height of the Covid 19 pandemic, because people were able to work from home, and there wasn't the need to travel to work. Many people sold their homes in London and used the money to buy bigger homes with large gardens outside London. Also many first time buyers due to working from home as a result of the pandemic, also moved well outside London to buy value money cheaper homes.

@Sandy Oge, look at the UK map, if u worry about wheather, then look at the cities that Tochi listed and find them on the UK map, the ones closer the the seas/ water..Will be colder. E.g. Scotland is colder compared to England but most Scottish cities are more affordable. You will figure the rest out when u arrive, in reality, You cannot prepare for everything from outside, experience is part of the learning process. Be careful when the place is too cheap, you need to consider "security" too.

The UK is incredibly tolerant to immigrants, that's why we get so many! Our TV adverts almost always feature black or mixed families, even though these are not so common. We have to take diversity and inclusion courses for almost all positions in major companies. Can you imagine white people coming to Nigeria and demanding "White inclusion"?

Stirling is expensive compared to other cities in Scotland. Because it is quite small accommodation is few and pricy, most students like me schooling there live in neighbouring cities like Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and others. Thanks for the video.
