Underatted Trap Trick target, Swordsoul Blackout. It can give you a token after you banish 1 Blackout as cost for Trap Trick. Then, you can use the Token as a cost to destroy 2 opponent's monsters. But this Blackout will be absolute brick if you hard draw it and don't play Wyrm deck.

Best part is if you can get past the bricking, the token is also a tuner as well for surprise synchro summons.

I'm a real yugi boomer but I still enjoy listening to your videos. That's why it shocks me sometimes to see a classic card like Torrential Tribute at the number 1 spot. I usually only reconize like one of none of the cards in your videos, and they are usually at the bottom.

Yeah, Compulse and TT are never not gonna be fantastic effects and the only thing that powercrept them out of widespread play was the speed of the game and the amount of destruction an opponent can throw out before they can be activated after turn 1

I never knew about that Daruma Karma Cannon card. That'd be an interesting tech pick in flip effect decks like Krawlers that can't reset their effects natively like the Subterrors. Reset all your effects and pop some pesky opponent cards if they're in your way

I play it in guru and I'm very happy with it, there's a subterror that spins any face-down card and one that steals any face-down card, if daruma cannon ends your opponents turn it's basically gg if you had guru on the field when it resolves

@@clemdelaclem A fair point. I'll admit I'm one of those avid krawler players who tends to tunnel vision on things that could make the deck less garbage, lol

Tbh for Darma, in Labrynth most builds do main or side skill drain so we dont always care about our monster's effect, in fact Darma can work well in cases with Skill drain on as skill drain doesnt stop the activation of effects. You flip your own monsters face down to get their effects resolved.

Who can forget Witch's Strike, Supreme King Soul, and Waking the Dragon shenanigans? Jokes aside, Trap Trick is my favorite card. Right now I am using it to support a burn deck to abuse Nightmare Archfiends in my Lair of Darkness deck!

I'm already hyped for the upcoming Traptrix deck this month, and all this video did for me gave me too many ideas Good stuff as always man 👌

I would like to give Ferret Flames in Dinomorphia decks an honorable mention 🤣

i don't know if there're enough, but it would be nice to see a top 10 monsters that are a combination (not necessary fusion, just the combined aesthetic) of a protagonist's and their friend monster or thematic cards.

It’s pretty amazing that a card meant to support Traptrix is generic enough that it can be used for other decks

Torrential tribute is nasty I can confirm (Traptrix player)

Anyone else also think Torrential Tribute has some of the coolest artwork ever or just me.

What do you think about Top 10 decks that revolve around 1 monster or 1 card

I'm surprised Infinite Impermanence wasn't on the list. It's probably the most versatile Normal Trap in the game today. It's a solid target for Trap Trick, but beyond that, it isn't reliant on that card either to be good. It's basically always live, always usable, and always good to have on hand.

Tbh, Impermanece isn't that good for trap trick. Allmost all other cards on this list could give you massive advantage if used right. Imperm just negates 1 card and thats it. Not only that, but you can't use any othe trap card after using trap trick.

Suggestion: Top 10 Dragon type support.

It is niche and has a weird condition, but I love switcheroroo it is just hilarious if you can get it off. If you have the same number of monsters as your opponent all monsters on the field swap ownership. I surprised my friend during the pendulum era with a pendulum/synchodeck since I was able to control to an extent the number cards I had on the field during mine and his turn.

I tried daruma cannon on ghostricks just a few times, unfortunately, that was also the time I was about to take break from playing ygo so I dont get to test it that much on the few times I get to play daruma cannon, it doesn't perform well or does not come when I needed it. Titanilkad is a very "ok" card to use for punishment. Its only "good" in Dogmatika, in nearly everything else there are better targets like N'tss

i mean u can go hipster and put in some other virus trap cards not named eradicator. archfiends ghastly glitch - i mean it is generic fiend support, so overall a curiosity (idk if that is odd enough) but should be made for your deck. i mean obviously trap hole cards can do it - i mean kinda obvious but i never saw them in labrynth. paleozoic dinomischus is a thing, karma cut, raigeki break (granted these sound objectively worse for your deck than running a punishment package). since u want more "obscure" things probably, bad aim is probably something you are looking for.

As a sideboard option generically I say dark hole is better, but the advantage of torrential is being able to use it reactively on your opponent's turn

it might not make the list because if you make it set by trap trick, your opponent would want to pop evenly matched before the end of the battle phase. Same problem with 'magic cylinders' bringing out magic cyclinder. giving your opponent valuable information is too strong in this meta

@@ognjengaric2687 Torrential can be activated in response to the opponent trying to remove it with a Knightmare Unicorn/Pheonix, And can stop the opponent from building up to kill you. Evenly Matched only matters *AFTER* the battlephase, And does nothing until then, Meaning the opponent can freely build up and OTK you
