TOP 10 TIPS BISSELL SPOTCLEAN PRO

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

My Top 10 tips for a Bissell spotclean pro. These tips will help you keep your Bissell spotclean pro extracting great for a long time. Proper care for your Bissell spotclean pro is essential as it is not a commercial grade extractor. If you are into auto detailing and want to know how to use an extractor properly this will be a bi help. IMO the Bissell SpotClean Prod is the best extractor for detailing on a budget or if you just dont extract enough to make it worth buying a commercial extractor. It does a great job interior cleaning and extracting upholstery. It is also a great spot cleaner for around the house. I hope you enjoy the Bissell videos and Thanks for watching

I use the size 1 and 1/0 Mustad hooks to freeline for snook kzread.infoUgkxzXmlErSqVAEGWFEKO530BvTqFDw53QW3 and they have been fantastic. The points are super sharp, and the hook is small enough to blend with my baitfish, yet large enough to land fish 30" or more. I also use these hooks when I'm pier or surf fishing with my kids. They tend to catch tons of smaller snapper, whiting, and catfish, and we get far fewer gut hooks with these Mustad in-lines, which means more of them survive after release. I was actually using these hooks when I caught my friend too, but I think that had more to do with the bait I was using ;-)

We’ve just purchased a new Spot Clean Pro and really appreciate this clear concise video. Also good to know to use the cleaning product separately (which I hadn’t been doing in the old machine - I’d been adding it to the water all along). And not being tied to the Bissell product is a real bonus. Sally Nolan

still many mobile detailers use them, because it saves you space and it's portable. Also it does the job very well. The only ones not liking them, are those who broke the handle of the head..and actually this shouldn't happen with proper use. Mine still running very fine and results are great. I also have a wet/dry setup with a boschbindustrial vaccuum etc, which I used first and is comparable to a shopvac, but is much heavier and actually, although more power, doesn't work that well. It does have a blowing function, whiched I used for blowing the car dry after a wash...everything has it's advantages etc.. Main thing for me is, being able to be mobile and not needing a heavy big truck..it's not cost-effective.

I'm following your recommendation on turning my wet/dry vac into an extractor. I do 3 cars a day and it's time consuming to keep filling and emptying the small tank supplied. My water heater is set to 130 F. I can hook up a water hose to it and good to go. Thank for the video tips.

After watching / listening to your video(s), I purchased a Bissell Spot Clean Pro and your pump sprayer, but I need your advice on what type of drill attachment cleaning tool will be gentle enough for microfiber upholstery. Should I buy a sponge pad drill attachment with buffing cloth for waxing & polishing car paint? Or should I buy the drill-attachment- brush cleaning tool kit you provided an amazon link for? I also want your opinion about what would be the best cleaner solution product to clean microfiber upholstery. A few KZread videos demonstrate and recommend using Method brand glass cleaner to scrub and clean microfiber upholstery material. Thank you for your videos!

Great tips Jeremy. That's a great tip about sticking the head into a bucket of water and clearing out the machine. I've used this type of machine for 25+ years back when Bissel came out with the original "Little Green Clean Machine" which was a very similar unit and grandfather of this machine. I now have one of these units in addition to a full sized extractor but lean towards using this one most of the time due to the ease of use and portability. I never cleaned out my machine before but I will definitely be doing that now. 👍

If you are using the P&S Carpet Bomber I do follow their recommended use of the P&S Finisher Peroxide Treatment. Yes, the clean water should flush it clean but easy to apply a light misting of the Finisher. Thanks for these tips, I might buy that machine as I really want to avoid purchasing commercial extractors or having that dirty of interior jobs (LOL).

I highly recommend Bridgepoint Bio Break. Nothing else comes close to the complete cleaning power. No stain has ever resisted it (in my experiences). It’s not cheap, but it’s fairly dilutable at 1 ounce per gallon. If you’re serious about cleaning upholstery that needs to be, Bio Break should be the first thing you grab. I can’t say I’d recommend these “entry” level machines, though. I’d save up until you can get a mid-level or straight pro machine. In this scenario, you really do get what you pay for. Bridgeport Bio Break. Get it, you won’t regret it. I would never recommend anything so aggressively if I didn’t believe in it 100%. Auto detailing supply manufacturers make half-decent upholstery cleaning chemicals, but therein lies the problem … half-decent means they will fail to completely clean upholstery at some point. P&S makes the best upholstery cleaning kits that I have used … but they just don’t compare to pro-grade cleaners like Bio Break. 😊😊😊

Have you tried the other two steps in the p&s carpet cleaning system? They have terminator for spots, carpet bomber for the general cleaning, and finisher to neutralize. I like to keep everything ph neutral so I don’t ever use just carpet bomber. Terminator is 5.5 ph and carpet bomber is 10.5. So those two essentially cancel out and the finisher peroxide neutralizes the surfactants and prevents wicking. I don’t have or want an extractor because I’ve never had this system fail me. Good stuff as always with p&s!

  • @AMP8424

Nice. What kind of brush or technique do you generally use with the 3 part system? Everyone always wants a "shampoo" and I'm like do you want your stains gone or a shampoo. I can get the stains out without the need to soak your entire interior with water.

  • @ethanblan435

    @ethanblan435

    Жыл бұрын

@@AMP8424 100% agree there. If the stains are really bad I’ll spray terminator on, rub in with my gloved hand instead of a towel to leave more product on the surface and let it dwell for as long as I can (usually around 20-30 minutes is plenty). Then I’ll come back with another shot of terminator and I use my dupray neat steamer and a nylon brush to break up the heavier stains. Then go in with carpet bomber and I like to drill brush with a soft white 4 inch drill brush. If I still see stains I’ll use the bigger triangle nylon brush on the steamer to give some heat and agitation to the whole area. Then I’ll hit it with finisher and use the microfiber bonnet on the triangle brush to finish out and pick up a lot of the dirt and grime. I usually follow that with a regular microfiber to mop up and to brush the carpet fibers in the same direction. On lighter carpets I might even spray a few extra sprays of finisher and leave it to dry because of the brightening effect peroxide cleaners like finisher leave when they dry. If I’m just doing a quick clean with a few light stains and dirt then I just spray with terminator and carpet bomber and then drill brush. Then I do the same finisher process. Sorry if this is kind of long but hope it helps!

Also as I understand from the pictures in the manual, normally I dont have to push the spray button all the time if I suck the dirt from my couch? First spray ONLY water on the surface and THEN suck separatly without spray function? Thx for any help!

I don’t know how good of quality the Bissell formula is. You should spray and extract independently. Spray the right amount of water to get good movement of dirt and grime from the fabric. Too much water will over soak the fabric and not enough will not allow the process to work effectively. After you have removed all dirt and soap continue to extract with no spray until as much of the water is removed from the fabric as possible. Hope that helps.

  • @HawaiiDetailing

Yes. In most cases diluting products do not require that level of accuracy although accuracy is not a bad thing. I recommend just keep it simple and when in doubt round down. Too much chemical is not a good thing as well as not enough won’t do the job without excessive agitation. Go up or down with the dilution according to the dirt level. Thanks for watching

I've used the Bissell Spotclean Pro couple times now to clean a sofa and chair - it works pretty good, however it does not appear to extract much of liquid from the furniture. If I use a full tank of cleaner it may pull out less than half a tank of dirty water. Should I be worried or maybe I'm not doing something correctly? I keep going over the surfaces until it is not pulling anything out.

I do not use that product but I would say use less product and keep extracting. You want to get all the cleaner out wether it’s in foam form or non foaming. Foam is a good indicator of how much of the product is still in the fabric.

Is it just me or does anyone find that Carpet bomber is very foaming when you are extracting it with a extraction machine ? I was using it in a foam pump sprayer but switch over to a traditional spray bottle and that seems to solve the problem. Had to do a lot of passes to get the solution out of the carpet using the foam pump sprayer. Not so much using it in a spray bottle which I prefer because you can see the water being pulled.

If you use the wide 15cm attachment you can. Not sure about the smaller one. If you remove it from the hose and look inside from the hose side you should see a clear clip in the middle. Put a flat screwdriver under the clip and bend it (carefully it's pretty fragile) and pull on the clear part at the same time
