Jerboa "tells you when the storms are coming".. You don't need one because there are storms all the time.. I can't leave my tent more than 10 minutes..

I feel like once you spawn you should speedrun towards desert cloth cause heat will kill you very quickly 🙂

putting a few points in fortitude will definitely help with dealing with the extreme swings of temperature as well. It also freezes at night randomly so I'd recommend stockpiling a bit of burnable material for a fire and collect pelts as early as ya can for fur gear.

As a resident of New Mexico, that pronunciation of adobe hurts my soul.

Ive died 130 times before i found THAT exact spot. Everyone was running and pillaring in the first minutes.

I reccomend for you to download the character from the island to scorched earth as it was originally supposed to be like so you can be prepared with level to get the stuff needed faster to not die it helps a lot

Idk if they mention this in any videos but you can place a tent on a paracer platform saddle so that it covers you while your drive the paracer. That’s helped me a lot of times while out exploring and I just have my other tames (direwolves) on neutral and following the paracer.

love the vid @H.O.D just a side note the axe work better getting the Cactus Sap ive found. with storms in the new scorched earth ive had a freezing storm too and with the tent u can live without it just dont build a stone house u will cook in tht but i havnt even made a tent and im 4days in game and still living in a thatch house. as the heat doesnt hurt in tht and its easyer to make a 1x1 thatch when out and about than carrying more weight on u with the tent. well thts what i do anyway

I think the weather events are bugged. I dont remember stuff happening every 10 minutes, its pretty ridiculous you either need 200 fortitude and good armor or just sit in your base half the time

Well that cliff above 24 24 and anywhere under couldn’t get it to let us spawn at beds…

For the spot you can't respawn there if you have a bed

Yeah the hydration is not the problem the problem is that there's a heat storm every 5 seconds I literally counted to this map was not that hard on the older version I guarantee you because at least I can spawn in and not die within 5 seconds unless if I spawn right next to a raptor or something which happens

I literally just spawned and died 10 times from the heat and cannot get out of it... screw scorched earth...

even with desert gear you get overheated i have 100 fortitude + desert gear and i'm constantly overheating xD

The new caves had me uninstall. Cave Mera is not conducive to a solo gameplay experience. And with the devs consistently improving caves I just can't do it anymore.

This dude has no clue what he is talking about. Adobe 100% protects you from superheat. Tells you to rush desert cloth, doesn't tell you where to get the materials. Avoid this channel there are actual helpful ones out there.

hahah ive played this game since day one mate i know what im talking about. but what you mean is the video is missing info. and yes this is true. ill include more detail for getting the cloth next time etc. my adobe testing didnt protect me. so might have just been on my end.
