I truly love the inuyasha skit, a dad pretends to be obsessed with inuyasha, classic way for the kid to be annoyed and embarrassed so she let's her dad watch whatever he wants from now on

@Mr7Reality It's one of the best payoffs of any Robot Chicken joke. Probably because most of us Robot Chicken viewers have to deal with some kid (ours, a friend's, a sibling's, etc) getting run of the TV and watching drivel. That makes it an epic fantasy that we could sabotage them like this. Way to go, claymation dad. You've scored a win for all of us.

It makes me laugh when people ask about Sailor Earth in sailor moon When Manga readers know that Mamoru Chiba, is the Prince of Earth and protector of it. Meaning there isn't a sailor earth because HE is Sailor Earth

Part of what made the “Inuyasha” parody so funny was that the actual show and “Robot Chicken” were both airing on Adult Swim at the time. “Inuyasha” was on ALL. THE. FREAKING. TIME. in the mid aughts whether you liked the show or anime in general or not. The non-fans used to complain about the amount of anime in the block so much that it was referenced in an episode of “Sealab: 2021” and Toonami was revived and retooled for older audiences to give those shows a separate home. Anyway, I like to think that somebody in the RC writing room didn’t like it either and/or was throwing those folks a bone.

This show always had my attention growing up.

Every sketch Robot chicken makes that parodies anime never fails to put a smile on my face, especially if it's an anime I'm either familiar with, or a fan of.

The Voltron dance battle was based off the movie "You Got Served" which is why they incorporated the DMX song which was also in the movie! 🤸‍♂️

9:46 “Goku and his young son Gohan” But isn’t that Goten? Gohan never had hair like that

One omission: another Voltron sketch (involving the 'vehicle' version), where it took a bit too long to turn into Voltron.
