I'm looking forward to seeing Wednesday and Enid continue their friendship, solving new mysteries around nevermore academy, and finding out what is wrong with Bianca as she figures out her sirensong power. I don't know what Xavier's problem is...and Tyler dealing with a hyde ego? I am not sure what's he going to do...But I'll be here to tune in!! Oh, I'll ask new questions, though.

Yes, that would be great; something like an old family retainer or relative who died but couldn't take his hand with him (curse, accident, just forgot to take it). He might even still be attached to his hand, but it's still physical and he isn't. Just a thought, but it would explain how a hand can see what's going on around him and peep at documents, etc.

I'm looking forward to seeing Wednesday and Enid's friendship and discovering Tyler's hyde form.

Everyone pushing for Wednesday and Enid to be a couple reminds me of how everyone was wanting Xena and Gabrielle to be a couple back in the day. Lucy Lawless did finally confirm later stating, "They're freaking married, man!" Lol. So who knows? Either way, I'm cool with it. It's not like Wednesday is incapable of love and relationships. She's just more comfortable with other aspects of life.

I LOVE that there's a friendship just for the sake of being friends. Not because any of them want or need something from the other but simply because they each enhance the other and care. Relationships and friendships seem too transactional these days.

I need to mention one thing here, Hydes are literally slaves for their master Tyler needs a redemption, he doesn't deserve to be used as a tool for a psycho who worships ideology of normies rules. also what if at some point Tyler couldn't control his power anymore bc too many transformations and use of his powers? a personal theory: nightshade poisons might not work on weems, since she's also a outcast with powers.

Read somewhere Jenna is gonna be executive producer and she would love to make it more dark and remove the romance. Personally, I am glad they are going on this route, felt the romance is not needed (maybe in later seasons they can try). What I really want to see is Wednesday being more smart, more of the Addams family (esp Uncle Fester). I felt Weems was killed off too early she should be brought back, Xavier was under utilized so he came off annoying to me but has cool powers. Would love to see more of baddie Tyler but also with a redemption arc, if they really wanna pair Wednesday with someone, it should be him as he is her type. Also Goody's character seemed to have a dark side which has not been revealed would love to see that. My fav thing in the show was Enid and Wednesday friendship, so ofc more of these two as a team fighting the villains

They are theories that Weem survived from being poisoned, shapeshifters are immune to toxins, or that’s at least what I heard

Given that Tyler escaped police custody via brutally murdering the innocent JPD officers taking him to prison when he went into in his Hyde form in the S1 finale I think it's a safe bet we'll see him come back in some shape or form in S2. However one loose plot thread that needs to be addressed in S2 is "What happened to the Book of Shadows that was owned by Wednesday's ancestor Goody Addams?" as we never got clarification as to what happened to the mysterious book.

That would be funny especially if Enid does end up as the one planning it especially given how Wednesday has prior to opening up to her has told her Lycanthrope bestie a couple of times "Make my quincenera one that has the theme of rainbows, sunshine, and unicorns and there will be a silver bullet in your future."

I‘m extraordinarily relieved by the fact that Jenna said they cut out all the romance and put more focus on horror in season 2. The whole romantic arc seemed very out of character for Wednesday. The quintessence of her being is her anti-social behavior. The real struggle is trying to connect with people while remaining true to oneself. Actually forming a friendship with Enid is a huge step. It might be hard to fathom, but some people do not want a romantic relationship. Some people prefer solitude. Wednesday is clearly one of them. Therefore putting her in any kind of romantic scenario would suggest that people don’t usually want to stay alone. Rather disrespectful of her nature and extremely counterproductive in depicting her as a strong, independent individual. I most enjoyed her relationship with her family and the antagonistic battling with Weems. I‘d like to see more of that (and no, Weems can‘t be dead, because I need more Gwendoline!). Exploring her friendship with Enid while juggling her sleuthing and academics seems a much better premise than turning the show into another boring teen rom-com. But that just my opinion, man.

Yes, yes, yes. I want you to write the script right now. Not to mention how, as often pointed at many ships, it just undermines the strenght of their loveless, sexless and bloodless bond. This is extra messed up for disregarding not only Enid's ongoing romance with someone else, but her overall friendly nature.

Enid is a scene stealer. Very well played character.

I would love to see of the original movie cast would join show. Christopher Lloyd as Grandpa Addams, I wish Anjelica Huston would be the new headmistress or grandmama .

While Wednesday and Enid don't need to get together romantically, I do love their strong platonic friendship. The scene where Enid finally snaps at Wednesday made me more emotional than any scene Wednesday had with Xavier or Tyler, her actual love interests.

Wednesday and Enid are good friends. She doesn't need a relationship. Not everyone needs a relationship. Especially not people like Wednesday Addams.

Personally, I would prefer Wednesday to not have any romantic relationship! But just a very strong bond with various characters like Enid, Xavier, Eugene, Bianca, etc. But I think having a main character for such a popular show not having a love interest is not something I think they would do... Also, I really hope Gwendoline Christie isn't death because I absolutely loved her character!!

But also they could just make to her something similar to the first season with that flirty/catfishy situation with Tyler and Xavier plus thing playing cupid one time. Who knows but chances of him doing a full turn to good is unlikely mostly due to the fact that during the closing moments of the S1 finale we see him go into his Hyde form and brutally escape police custody by murdering the innocent JPD officers transporting him to the prison, so if he is freed from Marilyn's control the best we'll get from him is either anti-hero rival to Wednesday, or the anti-villain who occasionally teams up with Wednesday when it benefits him, but a full turn to good will need a very good explanation to sound plausible.

Because that's main difference between him and Enid, Enid from what we've seen after the Battle of Nevermore will go into her true/Lycan form but only if the situation calls for it, whereas Tyler if his brutal escape via transforming into his Hyde form and killing those innocent JPD officers transporting him to jail is any indication will gladly go into his Hyde form and brutally kill anyone who crosses him. Which means if he is freed from Marylin's control that means the only thing/person keeping his Hyde form on a leash is no longer a factor meaning he can now with no restraint willingly go into his Hyde form and brutally kill/murder anyone he views as a enemy or anyone he believes crossed him, that means Tyler in S2 is a dangerous anti-hero/possible anti-villain wildcard.

@@DesertKitsune the show set up the character to be a creature that very little was known about, they had hints throughout the entire show alluding to the idea that the human and the Hyde were two completely different beings and that although they shared a body, the human had no control over what the hyde did because the hyde was controlled by the master, which in this case was Laurel. It will be interesting to explore this further and find out if the Hyde and Tyler are the same being or if they are separate. To learn what was the hyde and what was Tyler.

Crazy fact about This show: Some people don't understand why this show is 12+. They say that many other 12+ movies and series are 40× as scary as this. And that many violent scénes are not fully shown on screen. And also that the monster have some jumpscares, but looks cartoonly

Considering at the end of the S1 finale he went into his Hyde Form and brutally escaped police custody via murdering the innocent JPD officers transporting him to jail it's a safe bet he's on the loose and he's now free from Marylin's control which means he's now a very dangerous anti-hero/possible anti-villain wildcard cause if the S1 finale revealed anything it's that Enid while she will willingly go into her true/Lycan form she'll only do it if the situation calls for it, whereas Tyler given his brutal escape has no issues of willingly going into his Hyde form and brutally killing/murdering anyone he views as an enemy/crosses him.

@@MilasMixMedia Basically given in the S1 finale that Tyler stated that he loved the power he got when he was in his Hyde form, and that his escape from police custody was him going into his Hyde form and brutally murdering the innocent JPD officers who were transporting him to prison, pretty much equals that when he returns in S2 the combination of being on the loose and what seems like being free from Marylin's control means he'll now be a dangerous wild-card who will play one of two roles those being either the anti-hero rival to Wednesday and the gang, or the anti-villain who helps them when it benefits him. And as for the difference between him and Enid moving forward. That difference is Enid is willing to turn into her true/Lycan form but she'll only do it if the situation calls for it and will try to keep her lupine rage in check and not kill if killing can be avoided, whereas Tyler will go into his Hyde form if he feels like it and will gladly give into his Hyde rage and kill someone if he wants to. To put it more simply Enid realizes she's now a powerhouse due to her true/Lycan form and the power it brings is dangerous and that she needs to keep it in check/keep her rage under control, whereas Tyler realizes he's now a powerhouse due to his Hyde form and shows no interest in trying to control it despite the fact the power it brings makes him a dangerous wildcard.

So did i miss that Tyler did escape is that what we are all assuming that he did escape. Cause we didn’t see anything afterwards. If it is the case that’s even more confusing because shouldn’t they show the escape of it. Or are they hinting that he is going to escape eventually wherever he’s going. I could see them doing that.

About the very end of the final episode:Am I the only one that thought about the messages the protagonists in pretty little liars get from A? Could Wednesday season 2 be something like that?

#8 I think psychics r Wednsedayverse of witches and warlocks just as sirens r of that merfolks. Thou I would love to c more of the outcast faceless, shapeshifters, and the possibility of those mentioned. In my opinion, flying harpies that take on human form would a good fit, the air to sirens water. With male ones too as this show presented the 1st time ever of male gorgons.

Jenna Ortega is such a delight.

I find the idea interesting how they turned a family friendly franchise into a murder mystery series. I find such ideas makes The Characters of the franchise more realistic and dimensional.

@@n7jaeger974 In that case, there'd be no need for the entire genre of romance. If we rule out bi, gay and straight, there's nothing left to work with. I prefer the lesbian, bi and gay romances because it is so very hard nowadays to find a straight romance that offers anything new or surprising. I do enjoy a good straight romance, though. They just tend to get lost in the sea of mass produced stories.

Hm, interesting, while i would like to see any of these, regardless of what Season 2 will have, I am just happy to see more Wednesday and hope that Season 2 improves upon everything that Season 1 established. That being said, I do hope that Wednesday does not try to keep the things about her stalker to herself, at least not for long and do try to rely on her friends more.

am i the only one that was caught off guard by the storyline that Weems had a crush on Gomez. If no one else remembers, Weems tells Mrs. Thornhill at the Rave'n dance when Thornhill asks if she remembers being filled with joy and excitement for the dance and Weems says that her crush actually chose Morticia Trump (Addams) over her, hinting that she liked Gomez back then. I'll be disappointed and surprised if they don't go anywhere with that storyline which is why i don't believe that Larissa Weems is actually dead👍

I watched Wednesday and i'm glad i did because i really enjoy the show. Also Bianca's eyes are so noticeable i had a hard time focusing on her.

Morticia mentioned distant relatives when she bid her daughter farewell at the school. To say the Addams family has a long history in the area would be an understatement. Wednesday is revealed to have an ancestor named Goody Addams, who lived in the original Jericho Pilgrim settlement in the early 1620s, with likely some native American ancestry, which means Wednesday's family lived in the Jericho Vermont area for at least 400 years. With some branches of the family, probably living in the New England area long before then. Farther more it was revealed the Wednesday's ancestor Goody was the founder of the Night shades, founding the organization as early as the late 1620s as a private militia to wage war against the Puritans who sought to exterminate Out casts, with the Addams family remaining active legacy members of the Night shades ever since it's founding. And that it was the Night shades the built Nevermore in the 1780s, opening the school in 1791. Meaning at least one member of the Addams family was likely among the founders of Nevermore and Gomez also revealed how the Addams family held a family tradition of sending their children to Nevermore likely since it opened in 1791. This degree of connection to the school likely compells more than a few of the Addams family to remain close to the area, it is possible as much as 90% or more of the overall Addams family live in the Jericho Vermont area, or at least somewhere in New England. With just Gomez and Morticia moving to New Jersey because of that murder case against them. What if now that they have been cleared Gomez and Morticia decided it is time to move back to New England? This could be a great opportunity to show Wednesday and her family settling into a new home in New England, maybe even a home in/around Jericho Vermont (Could they even buy the Gage family house?) All well introducing more members of the Addams family and their lives throughout the area, where they all live.

Season 2 would be great

Something I’d like to see (though extremely unlikely) is an appearance of the Normanmyers. Granted they would more than likely have to make some changes to their personalities as I don’t think people would get on board with an underwear obsessed parents and their cynical son.

I’m confused by the whole visions thing because Morticia is an Addams by marriage. So her visions came from her father’s ancestor, not her mom’s. Seems like a major plot hole to me. But I love the show! 🖤

Honestly, I would love to see series two take place closer to the Addams family home rather than see Wednesday go back to Nevermore Academy, but whatever series 2 may bring us, I just hope that Tim Burton is involved in a massive capacity. Also, here's hoping that series 2 introduces Grandma Addams, everyone loves Grandma Addams

Actually I don't want to see Wenclair, cause Forgive me if I Sound rude, but LGBTQ+ Relationships in Fiction currently appears everywhere almost to point, instead of being Interesting and life changing, it became a Trope that suddenly every form of media use. I'm not against the LGBTQ+ People, cause you guys do you, I just don't want to see another Lesbian/Gay relationship in a show, while coming of age, It almost seem like a Cliché thing to do when you want to add that Trope in.Wednesday has been a great show so far so for them to add such a trope would probably satisfy Wenclair Shippers but probably not the Majority. If they really want to explore her Sexuality in the show, the Asexual spectrum exist.

Thank you, I agree. It's getting tiring and obvious that people are obsessed with sexuality. Just let them be friends. It doesn't matter, it's not the end of the world. It's really hard to admit it without being called out
